"My favorite sandwich is the Caprese, and when it's made well, it's absolutely delicious. However, today I ordered one from Sourdough Eatery through Uber Eats and received a call informing me that they were out of mozzarella, which is the main ingredient of the sandwich. They offered to replace it with another sandwich, but I declined and asked to cancel the order instead. Uber Eats then informed me that because I canceled the order, I would still be charged for it and the delivery fee, as the driver was already en route, despite the fact that Sourdough Eatery had run out of mozzarella. I don't understand why I'm being held responsible for their inventory issues. I'm really disappointed by this experience, and I've decided I won't be ordering from Sourdough Eatery or using Uber Eats again."
