"First time here and really enjoyed ourselves! Buffalo wings were DAM GOOD!!!! Waffle was good too not overpowering with toppings and strawberries were FRESH! Caesar salad was large but very fresh and tasty! Everything was fresh. Waiters were very friendlyand helpful. We kind of stumbled into the lady who served us because the first waiter may not have wanted to. It worked outbecause our waiter was good and very attentive. Lastly I was not paying attention when paying my bill by card and intended onleaving a 10.00 tip but it totaled 16. The employee who rang us up immediately came into the parking lot searching for us. Notknowing why she was outside I honked and yes she wanted to alert me that I left a larger tip than I may have thought. I askedthe lady to leave it alone and give the waiter the entire tip. I truly appreciate the honesty and professionalism beyond wordsand would definitely recommend this place for good food and honest service!"

"They ruined my mother's wedding. I strongly advise against holding any events at this restaurant due to their unprofessionalism. We booked a small wedding party in one of their event spaces two months in advance and even paid a deposit. However, just a few days before the wedding, they double-booked with a funeral party. They didn't provide a full refund and instead pushed us to use one of their sister companies to cover up their mistake. We are considering legal action. The manager was incredibly unprofessional and rude. It's hard to understand how someone could forget they were hosting a wedding that had been planned well in advance. I can't help but feel that there was a level of racism directed at my Hispanic mother and her Black husband. Fortunately, the sister company was able to accommodate us, and I will be leaving them a positive review. But this restaurant is a mess."

"Had a great experience at Barberet! Food was excellent. They offered a prix fixe menu for the restaurant week. For $50 I chose raclette to start, boeuf bourguignon for the main and azur cake for dessert. Topped it off with great conversation and a cappuccino. Growing up French, these meals brought me back to my roots and still accommodated for my celiac disease by offering gluten free options and food choices which were naturally gluten free! Highly recommend this location if you love authentic French cuisine which is well done! Bravo bistro Barberet!"

"Was looking for a nice restaurant near the hotel that wasn 't going to cost a lot of money and that I didn 't have to get too dressed up for. This place was walking distance from the Intercontinental and easy to locate. The decor was upscale without being pretentious. I was one of 3 people dining at the time but it was early for dinner in Miami. It was cozy and warmly lit a nice atmosphere. But enough about that...The food was EXCELLENT! The home made pate was delish and my steak was cooked perfectly with just the right amount of seasoning. I could not eat dessert (too full!!! . It was an excellent meal with a couple glasses of wine and completely reasonably priced compared to some of the other more high end restaurants in the area. I would definitely go back another time I am in Miami."

"My husband and I joined two friends who suggested this place for dinner. We were very disappointed. The nicest thing about it is the look of the place it is pleasantly decorated. But the service was atrocious our dinners came out separately about 10 minutes apart for no apparent reason; they were normal entrees that did not have anything like allow 30 minutes or something. Our server was incredibly annoying. And the food was just plain not good. Very bland and unappetizing. Wish I could say we would give it another chance, but no not going to do that."

"I have only been to SOLAR CAFE once I had two bfasts due to being hungry spent more than I had imagined yet was pleasantly pleased by the quality. It was Awesome ! Worth the prices they offer their food at ! I had an Eggs Benefict a 'special ' of their current menu never a better breakfast ! I also had a pastry and an iced latte that were superlative. The ' Wow ' was there before the check ever arrived .. that ' Wow impression ' that makes anything worth paying more for. Impressed !"

"I absolutely loved this place! Situated in the historic downtown area of Nacogdoches, it has the charming ambiance of a small-town diner, but with a more refined atmosphere and impeccable cleanliness. I ordered the chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes and green beans, and it was spectacular! The traditional preparation included a delightful twist with the gravy—made from breakfast sausage—which surprisingly enhanced the dish and took the flavor to an entirely new level. I highly recommend it, especially if you haven't tried it before!"

"Made a point of stopping here on the way back from the NJ side. It is one of our comfort places when we used to ride. The food is delish and ample portions. I took the champagne sauce from the mussels' home it was sooo good. Recommend toasting the bread for dipping. The pretzel came looking like a smiley face, lol. Huge. The cheeze and mustard perfect accouterments. The Mahi Mahi with mango was surprisingly delish. I would recommend cooking it a bit less. Was a bit dry. The wrap my husband assures me was very tasty. Parking is an issue. There was a young one training he worked hard. We shall return."

"UPDATE I have changed my 2 stars to 5 after speaking with the manager on the phone (and he also responded to my previous review). He apologized for the way the situation was handled and assured me that this was not the way they aspire to handle their business. I appreciate the time he took to speak to me and to respond to my previous review and as a result, I will be ordering from them again. This is absolutely the kind of customer service I highly value. I've been a frequent customer, ordering at least 2 3 days a week for months now. The food is actually pretty tasty and I was especially fond of their lemonade (couldn't get enough of it). But today, while the order I placed was written correctly, one of the sandwiches that was delivered was incorrect and the lemonade was weak and pretty terrible. This wouldn't usually prompt me to write a 2 star review, but the person who answered the phone when I called to address the issues was just plain rude. When I told him about the incorrect sandwich, he sounded annoyed that I was bothering him with such a trivial matter and basically blew it off and blamed it on his boss who took the order (he was not going to replace it with the item I actually ordered). When I asked him what he was going to do about the lemonade, he said that if he delivered a new one it would be the same, so he wasn't going to replace that either (he said that a new one would taste the same). When I then asked for a refund, he told me that if I wanted a refund but he was going to have to come and pick up the old one (no skin off my nose, the lemonade sucked but he was pretty obnoxious about it). I will not be purchasing from this store again (unfortunate because the food is usually good) all because of the way I was treated. Customer service matters.,, at least it matters to me."

"They lost my order and kept dismissing me when I asked them for it saying it’s coming when they didn’t have my receipt in their queue. Ended up waiting over an hour for my crepe. I kept asking them when mines will be made but they kept saying there’s a backlog although it’s clear I stood in front of them for a whole hour whereas later customers got served before me. Extremely dismissive staff who can’t be a bit flexible. They wanted to push my order to the end of the backlog although I’ve already waited an hour. They are terrible at communicating what is happening with my order too."

"I love this place! I usually get the Parisian because I love the simplicity of a nice baguette, butter, ham and brie. Each sandwich comes with a little baggie of popcorn that I believe has truffle salt, and it's a perfect compliment. In the store they also have tons of cheeses and artisan foods for sale, which are worth a look."

"The atmosphere was good, the noise level was ok, the food was missing. The service was very good, nice waiters and reception! The sweetness of the sauces in our Mexican food was very different and not good! Even the salsa for the fries was more like spaghetti. How do you mess up something simple like salsa? We think the worst was the enchilada sauce, sweet sauce, cinnamon doesn't go with enchiladas, I don't care if it's California, it doesn't taste good, sorry !!!!!!"
