"The best pizzeria in South Nassau! They took very good care of us during the pandemic and were always cheerful. You can't go wrong with anything you order. The whole wheat pizza is fabulous! For my birthday they sent me a coupon for a free personalized pan pizza. It was incredible and enough for 4. The slices were heavy because they are loaded with cheese. It blows away my memories of Pizzaria Uno. The calzones are old school Brooklyn. They are also very filling and made with good quality ingredients. The manager even called me to see how I liked the pizza. Once again, the best pizza on Long Island! Thank you, Mario's !"

"Just ordered and had delivered a Sicilian pie with sausage. The dough was half raw...Sicilian crust is cooked before its assembled so I don't know how this could happen. Dee Maria's came highly recommended but this is my first and last time. Thank God I have a pizza stone so it doesn't have to go in the garbage....which is where it belongs! "Unfortunately, the pizza has been consistently raw lately, despite being a thin crust style. They don't follow the proper double-baking process; the dough needs to rise and be pre-baked before adding fresh toppings for a final bake when ordered. As a result, the flavor suffers, and the toppings become overcooked while the dough remains undercooked. Additionally, their selection of pizza toppings is limited—there's no option for artichokes, which are available at many other better pizzerias in Brooklyn and Manhattan. This pizza place was much better before 2020."

"My family used to love this place when Pat was the owner. Food is no longer consistent and chicken has been served raw on many occasions, not just to us, but even to other friends of ours who used to go there and they stopped going for that reason. "Eat in: Great selection, love the service. Family owned local place. Definitely take pride in what they do and seems to be a local favorite. Pizza came out SUPER HOT so be careful. New to the area and so far this is my favorite pizza only place. Take Out: Will definitely look elsewhere, they are slow, disorganized and even after being told that I can pick it up in 20 minutes. It ended up taking 45 min for one large pizza. I stood in the crowded little area with all the other people that were picking up and frustrated. Delivery: I found a way you can get it delivered but it would cost $29 for a large pizza delivered using some app. Are you crazy? The food is good, eat in service was good all the other experiences were just...not."

"Everything was outstanding. Cocktails and lovely breads to start. We ordered Oysters Rockefeller, Lamb Lollipops, French Onion soup, Lobster Bisque, Ceasars Salad, Tuna Tower, Delmonico Ribeye (with the world's best mashed potatoes), Seafood Risotto, Shrimp and linguine. The birthday girl (86) was given a Sundae with sparklers. The pianist played HB. The entire restaurant applauded. She said it was her best birthday yet. Many thanks to the awesome staff!!!"

"Ive been going to this pizzeria for years and it's my favorite pizza spot. Their specialty slices are delicious, their staff is super nice and their garlic knots are legendary. The buffalo chicken slice, stuffed chicken parm slice and their francese slice are my favorites. Ive had their pastas and they usually hit the spot. The reason for 4 stars and not 5 is because sometimes the chicken they serve tastes old and ive gotten sick a few times from the food. Almost like the chicken has been in the fridge for one or two days too many. It has that taste sometimes, but most of the time it doesn't."
