"Unfortunately, the pizza has been consistently raw lately, despite being a thin crust style. They don't follow the proper double-baking process; the dough needs to rise and be pre-baked before adding fresh toppings for a final bake when ordered. As a result, the flavor suffers, and the toppings become overcooked while the dough remains undercooked. Additionally, their selection of pizza toppings is limited—there's no option for artichokes, which are available at many other better pizzerias in Brooklyn and Manhattan. This pizza place was much better before 2020."

Always friendly and welcoming. The pizza is delicious although I find it a bit expensive and a bit scarce on the cheese. View menu

Ordered pie from here. Not so good pizza. Only thing good was the crust. Sauce was bland. Was in the bathroom for a long period of time. That’s how I knew. Dollar pizza is better, hands down

I often eat the pizza where I dine in, and its very good. Tonight I got food delivered (thru SLICE), and it was really good. The portions were huge, the food was hot, and very well prepared and tasty. View menu

I recently moved to the area and had trouble finding a good pizza place until now. These guys are fantastic! This is Brooklyn Pizza, my new go-to spot for a quick slice or a whole pie to take away. Thank you for the excellent pizza!

I grew up on East 2nd, enjoying the pizza from that pizzeria. Now that I'm in Florida, I always make it a point to visit whenever I'm back. I've never had any pizza that compares to theirs. Interestingly, I even deliver for a pizza place out here!

"When we called to reserve a table, no one informed us that there was a dining time limit of 1.5 hours. My friend wanted to invite more people to join us for dinner, but I was unsure if everyone would agree to the minimum charge of $60, including taxes and tips. I confirmed a reservation for 7 people during my second call, but ultimately, only 6 of us showed up. The table we were given was quite small, making it uncomfortable for six people, especially with the mandatory minimum spending of $60, as well as a 20% tip. For just two people, the minimum tip is 18%. I was confused about the dining time limit—was it two hours or 1.5? The party area was limited to just the backyard for additional seating. I was with friends who didn’t know the group well, and we arrived early at 3 PM, but we couldn’t wait until 6:30 PM. That’s why we ended up sitting at a separate table for two. Unfortunately, the restaurant didn’t seem to care and couldn’t arrange for us to be seated closer together. We had no choice in the matter. To make matters worse, the female waiter had a poor attitude. It felt like we were dining in a sidewalk market. She questioned another girl who served me ponzu sauce, apparently because I looked impatient when I saw her face. Her attitude only worsened after that. It seems like they need to train their employees better, as they seem unaware of how to provide good service. As for the food, it was just okay, typical of basic Japanese cuisine. There were too many restrictions! Customers are forced to adhere to the restaurant’s rules and limitations. I cannot recommend this place unless someone is specifically looking for a fast-food experience. In short, I don’t think I’ll be returning next time."
