"The food was delicious and reasonably priced. I especially enjoyed the Strawberry Cheesecake. However, there was some confusion with our server. A young man initially helped us by seating us and taking our order, but later on a young woman took over. When we needed something, the first server would just point to the second server. This caused some issues with the service as neither checked on us frequently."

The pizza, broccoli rabe, and other Italian dishes are delicious, but what really stands out is the outstanding service. "This was a quick random choice and we are so glad we picked it! The food was amazing. Portions were big and perfect for the price. Tons of choices to pick from so that was a little hard but a good thing! Service was super friendly and fast. They had a great little high chair that attached right to the table so my 1 year old could sit right in the booth with us. We plan to visit again when we are in the area!"

"Horrible experience in ordering food todayThere 's a cashier lady there, who has terrible attitude. I don 't know her name, but one way to identify her is that she has heavy Hispanic accent. I tried to place an order today over the phone, and she kept interrupting me. I asked her repeatedly miss I have work to do, I need to place the order fast so I can go. She just kept talking and interrupting me. I said I had to wait a long time on the phone, she told me that I had to use a tablet. I informed her that I tried ordering online but the site told me to call the restaurant. I said it 's okay can I just place the order now? She then accuses me of fighting with her because I said that I had to wait a long time on the phone. Then she says that I have to say please . Whenever I call the restaurant to order I always begin with saying I 'd like to order a pickup please. She just kept arguing with me that I just couldn 't get my order in. I got so frustrated I had forget about getting food from there and hang up the phone. This argumentative lady is going to drive customers away."

"I am writing this review for vegans so they do not have the same experience as we did. We had heard they offered vegan bagels, so we decided to walk from our hotel to try them. However, when we arrived and asked the woman behind the counter which bagels were vegan, she informed us that none of them were. I mentioned that I had read they had vegan options and asked her to double check the ingredients. She replied that she did not have the ingredients list, but assured us they were not vegan. It was a confusing and disappointing interaction. My family and I left feeling puzzled and overlooked. It is odd that they offer vegan spreads but do not have vegan bagels, and it is surprising that they do not know the ingredients of their own products."

"Run of the mill diner, nothing really bad about it but nothing special. The friend I went with got corned beef hash and it was the corned beef hash that comes in a can which I am not a fan of so I’m glad I didn’t order it. Eggs Benedict was mediocre, mound of Homefries under it made the eggs Benedict slide all over the place when I tried to cut it. Great classic diner atmosphere and service was great and very accommodating to my friends substitutions or additions but just wouldn’t really recommend the place based off of what I had and the amount of other diners in the local area to try."

"I've been a customer for years and have never had any problems or complaints. Every time I visit their establishment, the staff is incredibly polite and friendly, and the food is absolutely delicious. If you're a regular, you know they offer their special oatmeal, which you must try. Additionally, the hot pastrami and Swiss cheese on a buttered toasted roll with mayo is a must-have! If you haven't been to Pharos yet, you definitely need to check it out because the food is finger-licking good, but it's not KFC!"

"I enjoyed three deliciously soft chocolate chip cookies. The potatoes that came with the Oakland Omelet were fantastic. There was a generous serving of syrup with the French Toast as well. The Power Twist juice was definitely the highlight of the meal. Everything was delivered 15 minutes earlier than the estimated DoorDash time. "I rarely write reviews, but I have to say that the LOX BAGEL was a solid 10/10! If you're wondering whether there's enough lox, don’t worry—there’s plenty! They definitely don’t skimp on it. The cream cheese was also perfectly balanced. I tried the walnut honey flavored cream cheese, and WOW—it was amazing! The amount of cream cheese was just right, not too little and not too much, which is impressive since I typically like my bagels piled high with toppings. The walnut honey had just the right amount of sweetness without being overwhelming, and the little walnuts added a nice crunch. And the bagels themselves? Simply incredible!
