"With COVID the restaurant looses it ambiance but the company made up for it. Food was impeccable but the service was not so refined. Was quite disappointed that the sommeliere without asking our permission to have some wine he helped himself when he opened it which was not appreciated. I saw but didn't comment as the damage was already done, and our server had no idea how to collect plates, and dropped a few the during the night of service, which was slightly embarrassing since it was empty and not busy. Overall experience was average due to the wine sommeliere and the server! Happy the food was delicious and the wine"

"I went with a group for a birthday. It was the worst service any of us had ever experienced. Our waiter only took a couple of drink orders and then left for more than 20 minutes before we checked in to take the rest of the table order. For the food we had to tell him that we had to order. Then he took 4 orders, went away and didn't come back. When we got him to come back after telling several other workers we needed to complete the order, he forgot that he had taken the first few orders. He finally took a few more orders and went, again not to every person at the table. It took 2 hours in total and the food came out at all different times. We were all honestly very confused about what was happening throughout our dinner."

"#1 food was amazing. Some of the best burgers and fried chicken our party has ever had. #2 servers were very nice and tried to be helpful but I personally think they were not trained at all. 2 Menus and 1 said coffee was 5$ and the other said 4$ ... I asked waitress and she had no clue. Next each menu item says Gluten Free Option available upon request. I asked for the burger and asked what the gluten free option was ...server said UM. We have gluten free things like salad and ummm if it has a GF symbol we have it in GF. I replied that I wanted to know what the gluten free option for the burger was...server replied um ... and asked another person and they said a whole wheat bun "

"My colleagues and I had reservations at 12 noon and was seated promptly. Since Burmese restaurant are rear in the area, we were really looking forward to this experience. While we weren't in a hurry, the restaurant was. Drinks were ordered and they pushed to have a food order at the same time. We choose to wait to order the food until the drinks were brought to us. We ordered the Burmese style beef and goat stew as well as the Moh Hin Ga (Fish Noodle Soup). While the sauces of the meat stews were nice, it wasn't spectacular! The stew meats were definitely not tender. If you enjoy tough meat, then these dishes are for you. Additionally, the Moh Hin Ga was lacking in flavor and in my colleagues words: "would not order it again". Also, soft drinks and iced tea and refilled complimentary. Given the rush and the below average experience, will not be going back. Given there their great Yelp ratings, there seems to be a lot of patrons that like it. Maybe we just attended them on a bad day or the normal Chef was not present that day..."

"Bistro Cacao expanded pre-covid into the larger restaurant space next door. It was a favorite then, and it still is. We had a lovely table for 4 at the second floor window, and tables for 2 have romantic booths with velvet curtains. Onion soup is our starter of choice, and our friend noted that the lobster bisque had plentiful lobster. The French wines are our preference, and we tried a robust red and more mellow one--both excellent as partners with our food. Dont miss dessert! Flan or profiterolle trios are excellent. Eat earlier (reservation by 6.30) if you prefer easier talking and less activity."

"The food was enjoyable, but the service was only mediocre. After I received my soup, I had to wait five minutes for a spoon. When my meal arrived, I was left without a fork for several minutes. Dessert took more than 20 minutes to be served. My water bottle was never replaced or even offered to be replaced. I would have liked to order a glass of wine to accompany my meal, but I wasn't given the chance. With so many options in NYC, I don’t see myself returning here."

"There was a great variety of options on the menu and I especially liked the specials. The food was very tasty and the portions were not overwhelming. The Kansas ribeye was so good and I really enjoyed the creme brulee. Our server was helpful and friendly and provided just the right level of service. Finally, the cost was very reasonable compared to the city. Two courses for 5 people with a couple of alcoholic beverages came to $236. Bargain! I would definitely go back if I was in the neighborhood."

"I had been wanting to try The Mick and last night was our first time. We were not dissapointed. Fabulous food. We had the whipped ricoota, delish, cauliflower, I'm not normally a fan but this was so flavor and fluffy on the inside. A must try. And then the filet mignon which was suberb. My wife and I shared each plate and eneded up taking half the Cauliflower home along with desert, the bread pudding. Another winner. And the service is top notch. Attentive without being intrusive. And you can get lost in the wine list."

"The bartenders here are incredibly friendly and helpful. The owner is one of the most accommodating people in New York! If you're planning a large gathering, I highly recommend renting out this venue. They truly go above and beyond to ensure your event is comfortable and enjoyable. I can't recommend it enough. Aaron, in particular, made sure everything went extremely smoothly."

"The food is always excellent. Fresh ingredients, well prepared, with just the right amount of seasoning and sauces. Always a good variety, so if you're in the mood for meat, chicken, fish, or vegetables, there are many good choices. I have never had anything less than an excellent meal there, and I go there regularly. The service has always been very helpful and knowledgeable. They are extremely attentive. Your water glass will be refilled without needing to ask, and the delicious bread can always be refilled as well. The ambience is perfect, it's almost as though you are being transported to a sidewalk café in Paris. The cost is reasonable, and the owner, Ali always seems to be present and helpful, and there to make sure everything is perfectly run. Without a doubt the best place to go in Menlo Park."

"The front of the house staff were very accommodating with my reservation time request. The young lady waiting for my table was excellent. The staff were very welcoming. Flavors for the food could use some improvement, the Moroccan Chicken was very good but the citrus flavors were too strong for my liking. For dessert I selected the Grapefruit Givré, I enjoyed part of the dessert but not all of them. I regret picking this option, but your experience will vary. Vegetarian options: Some dishes are vegetarian. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $50–100 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4 Recommended dishes: Gambas Al Ajillo, Moroccan Chicken Tagine Recommendation for vegetarians: Somewhat recommend Vegetarian offerings: Vegetarian menu or section"

"We recently had a group dinner at Salut and it exceeded all of our expectations! From making the reservation to enjoying our dessert, everything went smoothly and the food was delicious. The staff managed to accommodate our group of almost 20 people in the back area and served us promptly with a smile. I highly recommend the walleye, but all the options on the menu received rave reviews from our group. The atmosphere was fantastic, the menu was well-curated, and the staff were friendly and attentive. I would definitely choose to dine at Salut again in the future."

"Beautiful Art Deco setting with a view of the Rockefeller Center Christmas tree. Outstanding bread small, crusty, warm baguettes. Onion soup, green salad, Wiener Schnitzel (Thursday special), Steak, and apple tart were all first rate. Glasses of wine were small and expensive. Service was attentive without being intrusive. It is a pity that it is scheduled to close in 2020, since it provide one of the better dining experiences available in NYC."

"We had a great lunch at Wa Jeal. Starting with scallion pancakes (yum) and ending with my chicken and broccoli (yum again) , the lunch deal (rice, main dish and soup) was very well priced and really delicious. The setting is wonderful--brick walls, and pretty decorations and the service excellent. Highly recommend!!"

"We were so lucky to get two seats at the bar for dinner here on a Monday night. The food, service, and ambiance is amazing. I had the braised lamb with orzo and figs from their special rotating menu and my husband had the pasta bolonasge and we shared the grilled halloumi cheese. Everything was great but the lamb was by far the best. The bartender gave me a great wine recommendation too. I wish I had a second stomach to eat more. Definitely make a reservation, especially"

"My group walked in to grab dinner before going to the orchestra. The restaurant was almost entirely full, and it sounded like it had a long reservation list. The hostess asked if we?d be willing to sit at the bar with all the tables being taken, we didn?t mind. It wasn?t a long wait from there, and it wasn?t super loud. My companions? shared the bass, and I got the steak and mashed potatoes. The mashed potatoes were super smooth, and the steak was so easy to cut. I got the ?Raspberry Beret? to drink, it wasn?t super strong, sweet, or sour. My companion liked the red wine they had, and thought the bass was a bit salty. I saw the waitresses writing anniversary and birthday cards (presumably for guests) next to us at the counter. They seem to be up for celebration acknowledgments. The bartender served us complimentary Vermouth shots after dinner. They were spiced, yet tasteful. Overall, a nice and accommodating restaurant with a hefty price tag."

"It was the slowest service for a nice restaurant that I have ever had. We have been there several times but it has never been this slow. It took us 2 1/2 hours to finish lunch, not because we lingered, but because of the slowness of the service. When we order dessert, it took 25 minutes before the desserts were served. After we got home, we received a call from a lady at the restaurant, claiming that someone in our party had paid with a gift card that had insufficient funds. She asked us to find out who it was at the our table did that and to fix it. Otherwise she threaten to put it on my tab. We contacted everyone in our party and none of them paid with gift cards. My wife called the restaurant this morning to to report that, and only then did the lady admit it wasn’t anyone at our table. It was another party. But no one had called to tell us that, and no one apologize for accusing us. Very amateurish and very rude. On the plus side, the food was delicious as usual."

"Maison is another fine addition to the Charleston dining skyline! A small, intimate Bisto specializing in French cuisine. We were immediately greeted at the front door and seated at a corner table. Justin, our server, quickly became an integral part of our evening with great service and recommendations. His personality wit fit with the camaraderie of our table. Our party enjoyed several appetizers entrees. The pate was a country style pate with the traditional accompaniments. The heirloom tomato tuna crudo was exceptional! The Tomahawk Monkfish was delicious. The unique presentation is an added bonus. The duck confit was nicely prepared but not the star of the meal. Maison has been on our radar for a while and we will, certainly add this as a favorite!"

"Wow! What a surprise. SuperbWe usually wait for reviews before trying a new restaurant but we just sort of stumbled in to Edith’s . Menu is incredible and food was authentic and delicious . Oh, and did I mention crazy reasonable. The desert menu is like 2 pages but we couldn’t pass up the bananas foster crepe. Oh .. so, so yummy. It was enough for 4 people but we ate the whole thing The restaurant is beautiful and the strolling accordion player made our average Friday night not so average. Can’t wait to go back."
