"Wow what a great restaurant. It is a definite go to place every time we're in Chicago. You can't beat the unique menu, locally sourced ingredients and the friendly and helpful staff. In warm weather it has one of the best patios in the area. This visit was exceptional. The cheese and charcuterie platter was delicious with tons of options. We sampled the smoked ham, chorizo, serrano ham along with the red dragon and manchego cheeses. Platter looked beautiful with toast crisps, marinated olives, pickles, apples, raisins and whole grain mustard as sides. Entrees were flavorful and fresh with the salmon salad being a medley of fresh house smoked salmon, bagel crisps, cream cheese, tomato and capers. Delicate but filling also. Chicken and waffles made a savory entree with crunchy waffles and lightly breaded chicken. Very flavorful syrup was warm and added to the overall taste. Eggs Benedict were perfectly cooked but our favorite part of the meal was the ham freshly out of the smoker; hot and savory we could have ordered more. As always cocktails are unique and pack a punch a very comprehensive beer list adds to the fun. Our server was very helpful, made great suggestions and kept our drinks topped up. A fantastic way to spend Saturday morning. A"

I always get the French mussels and am never disappointed. My son's salmon with risotto was excellent and he got a free dessert because it was his birthday.

A wonderful place to have brunch and libations! Fork is located not too far from Spoon, my favorite Thai restaurant. Now all we need is a place called Knife! View menu

The chicken and waffles are considered the best in Chicago and I agree . The chicken was moist and crunchy ,the waffles were soft and fluffy which were phenomenal. Adding the butter and jam made them even better . Fork is one of those restaurants that you become a regular at ...A must try

I had the best fish dish that I've ever eaten in my life--fried Black Sea Bass. It was also a great presentation. There was just the right amount of sprouts and veggies to go with it. It wasn't at all greasy. It tasted fresh with sweet, sour, salty, umami in a great balance. This should stay on the menu. We're planning to come back again in a few weeks when we have guests out of town. Not to be missed!

"Tempesta is arguably one of the best sandwich shops in the city. They make a lot of their meats in house and use high quality ingredients so you know you’re getting the good stuff. Not only can you get a great sandwich, you can purchase most of their meats to go as well as other small artisanal grocery items. I have tried almost every sandwich they have on the menu but my top two choices would be the #1 The Dante and the #2 Yo! Vincenzo! The Dante is their version of a classic Italian sandwich but a bit on the spicier side. The Yo Vincenzo is a chicken parm and I personally think it’s the best chicken parm sandwich in the city. The chicken is perfectly crispy, and they use just the right amount of sauce where it doesn’t get soggy. Both of these sandwiches come on their fresh baguette which helps set them apart from other sandwich spots in Chicago just because of how good it is. The B Franklin is also a great option, and if you’re starving get the Wagyu Pastrami but be warned it is a very heavy sandwich because of that Wagyu. The last pro tip I’ll add in here is order your sandwich ahead of time if you’re doing takeout. This is a very popular spot and is always busy during the lunch rush so if you wait to order until you arrive you may need to wait for 10-15 minutes. That should speak to how good this place is because it’s in such high demand, so if you’re in Chicago make sure you stop in!"
