"They have dine in with Covid vaccine proof so that's a plus, they have booths that fit 1-2 people and 4 seat dining tables and the server was nice, that's about all the pros. There was a fly in here and as I currently look down at my turkey burger and sweet potato fries all I can think about is how bland the food was. I dont know what happened to the seasoning and I had very little faith they would do it properly if asked so used the salt, pepper and ketchup on the table. Managed to eat 2/3 of the burger, hardly made a dent on the fries, they give you a lot which would of been great if tasted better. Couldn't force anymore down, so taking a L with this lunch. Really wanted to try their desserts but I'm afraid it's just as bland so didnt give it a try and this fly is giving me trust issues. Maybe their other menu items taste better cause I see 5 star reviews, i guess it depends on your taste buds. An older gentleman seems to be enjoying the food behind me so to each their own. But for me it's a no, even $11 is a lot if the food comes out tasting as bland as paper and a fly you constantly have to swat away. Only salvation was the tap water, wouldve hated paying more for a drink.Correction: Not $11, I just got my receipt and he's charging me $18.51 so they are literally charging every item on your plate. The burger itself is $11 and the fries are $6, overpriced and under seasoned. On top of that he asked what side I wanted, I had assumed it was a side that came with it with the way he worded it, fine, simple misunderstanding but atleast season the food if you charging so much. The price is slapping my face with how unsatisfy I am with this dinner."

"Surprise. In an average shopping center there is a quality restaurant like this. I think of this as a single stone and mortar for quality. So don't let it go. My daughter got me out for dinner and cocktail. Wow! Everything was really delicious. I think the proverb is true: you get what you pay and sometimes it is really good quality at a fair price! Parking was easy. A cozy small corner place with a lot of seating. The huge bar was full of guests eating and drinking. Most people seemed well dressed or busy (after the amount of work?. I think it might have been sourdough? I only ate it because the oat butter had some herbs on it. I usually avoid gluten, but a slice was not hurt. We ordered the crab cakes. 2 per order. Definitely not too much bread. A crab cake. Offers and tasty with a great small crispy coating. I ordered the special grilled halibut with potatoes and green beans. I admit, I wish the fish was a bigger one because it was so amazing. The potatoes were cooked tenderly. But the green beans were perfect. I like vegetables to taste themselves, which does not mean cooked. You had a bang. The lemon sauce was good enough to drink in a cup. Of course I didn't mean it didn't happen. My daughter ordered the seafood risotto. I took a little bite from her fish was salmon. Buttery, delicate and tasty. However, the Mascarpone cheese was overwhelming and too much in the Risotto for me, the Risotto was crushed together and not loose bits. Taste a little like boxed Mac n cheese taste. I know this is a difficult description. But I did. My daughter loved it. It was a big portion and she brought home about 1/2. Then we shared my favorite all the time. Crime brûlée I can rarely say it was bomb! That's it. With a perfect thin layer of comminuted sugar. No complaints! Yummy with a dark coffee.."

"Upon entering the store I was hit with this stale old smell and there is nobody there to greet. Immediately noticing how deserted the place is, I see a server sitting down and upon noticing me, she instructs me to sit anywhere. I asked for orange juice, and was brought out a small glass of watered down concentrate orange juice, it had this sweet taste to it, I barely drank any of it. The server was polite enough, not friendly but this is not unusual for the service industry in Edmonton. After reviewing the menu, the prices were pretty standard for casual breakfast, between $10-$15 for breakfast meals, there were not many options, just your standard eggs & sausage meal and omelette options. No french toast, no pancakes, I gather this isn't much of a breakfast place to begin with. Upon ordering, I received my food quite quickly, considering I was the only one in the place ordering a meal this didn't surprise me. The food itself came out warm, eggs were good as was the toast. It was a hearty serving of food. Unfortunately, the hash browns were repulsive, it was almost as if they cooked the hash browns, then soaked them in grease before serving them, they were mushy and the sheer thought of them makes my stomach churn as I write this. The sausages were standard, nothing special, I only had one of them. I noticed the clientele coming into the restaurant was made up of older men in their 50s and up, I suspect this is more of mature pub then a place to get a decent meal, I know that now more than before. I should have gotten the message when I walked in, the place being deserted, to walk back out as that in itself was not a good sign especially when there were other restaurants I had walked by with quite a few patrons. I did provide a basic 15% tip when I paid for the meal, it came to a total of $17 (with tip). I could have paid the same at a chain restaurant like Dennys or Ricky's and received a more pleasurable meal. I would not recommend this place to anyone, if you are in the area, go elsewhere, don't be lured in by the charm of supporting an independent local eatery. I went in, open-minded hoping for good comfort food, and I left disappointed and underwhelmed. Steer clear."
