"Edge of the Woods has a wonderful selection of fresh produce and the largest vegan/vegetarian meal fixes around. The cosmetic section is full of organic, cruelty free products. The vitamin selection is overwhelmingly vast with any supplement you could wish for. There is a great selection of natural herbs, oils, self love and care products. Not to mention the book section!! I am in heaven! There is a wonderful selection of organic clothing, and the vegan/vegetarian bakery and deli is out of this world. Truly a great place!"

"Average overpriced food. Atmosphere is good and gives the diner feel, but dang that food just wasn't up to part. I had a cheeseburger and fries, which should be difficult for a diner to screw up. The cheeseburger was tasteless and overcooked. The root beer float was decent but how do you screw something like that up? Felt rushed too while there. Price was around $20 for the cheeseburger and fries, and something like $10 for the root beer float. Plus tip and tax, came close to $40 for lunch."

"My choice of simple breakfast sandwich place. It's kinda of a comfort food place for me. It's your traditional NYC bodega kinda place but... they are clean and serve yummy fresh food. It's a very unassuming type of establishment. Honestly, when I'm in the Sheepshead Bay area, it's my go to spot. Currently, only cash and credit cards are accepted. No EBT."

"This bakery is truly the best, without a doubt. I always get my birthday cakes from here, and I've been a loyal customer for over 20 years. I have never been disappointed!"

"I love this place. It has so much potential. The service is excellent and I can't say enough about the excellent server assigned to our table. I was hoping for a menu that would extend a little more into a dinner menu rather than a salad or pizza or burger menu. But, I can live with that. Now the big issue was getting our order moving and getting it straight. Our server did everything she could to keep us happy. I noticed the board game recommendations on the menu and had a nice chuckle. But after waiting so long for our order to be served, a game of Monopoly wasn't that bad of an idea. There were 4 in our party and we did make prior reservations. 3 of us had salads and the 4th ordered a wrap sandwich with onion rings. 2 of the salads were the Southwest Chicken Salads, but the cook never included the chicken. The salads were served within ample time but the wrap and onion rings were no where to be seen. We started in on the salads and noticed the absence of the chicken. Our server apologized and took off to the kitchen. I could tell she was embarrassed by the mix up and she corrected the error. Still no wrap and onion rings. We almost completed our salad dinners and the wrap and onion rings were finally served. Our server apologized repeatedly and management authorized 50% off the bill. (A visit from the manager would have been nice. I think your menu price meals are a little on the high side, but we will return and hope for a little better experience."

"We visited a restaurant at 3600 W. 6th Street in Los Angeles, which is almost on the road to our family-owned spot. We placed a takeout order that included plain cheeseburgers, cheeseburgers without halved onions, cheeseburgers without tomato sauce, and a double cheeseburger. All the condiments—lettuce, tomatoes, and pickles—were packaged separately, along with the sauces (Thousand Island, ketchup, and mustard) in individual containers. We also ordered two large fries for four people. By keeping the toppings separate, the salad remained fresh and everything tasted fantastic! The server provided excellent advice, suggesting we order two large fries instead of four small ones, and we were grateful for that recommendation. The food was delicious, and we’ll definitely be returning!"

"I've always been a big fan of O Charlies. I end my wife, we have a stressful auto shopping experience and decided to take a break and eat here. It was the best FOOD I ever had!! Everything was perfect. The part that stood most to me was the staff. My server and the hosts played with our son talked about Spider-Man with him, even some web singing! Lucas and Jada were our hosts and they were amazing Lucas checked for me and my family twice during my meal and he wasn't even a server. Ray was our server and she was professional, sweet and all around very tailored to our needs. We were shocked when she said it was her first week's best service I had in a long time from anywhere. Last but definitely not least, Laverne is the manager I believe and she killed it clearing tables, running food, reviewing every customer food and experience. It wasn't one of those scripted talks either it's honest and you could say that they really care about your experience not only because it's their job! A total of 10/5 stars and definitely will be back for this superstar staff. (snaps)"

"My partner and I, along with another couple, opted tor Lalime's special (and very festive) Valentine's pris fixe dinner. It turned out to be a very special treat for the four of us, even at the higher than usual price of $75 per person for amuse bouche, a starter, a salad a main, and a VERY LARGE shared dessert (1 per couple). The amuse bouche was a nicely seasoned Middle Eastern vegetarian frittata that we never got the name for. All 4 of us chose the lobster ravioli in bisque sauce instead of the cauliflower-brussel sprouts-lent koufté; really well-crafted! On the mains, we split on the sea bass (highly rated by those who selected it) and the grilled rib-eye, which I opted for. I seldom eat meat but this was grilled to perfection with a nice mushroom, garlic, and thyme reduction). Dessert was--are you ready--an almond chocolate tart with poached pear, lemon pudding, berry coulis, and quince sauce. Almost a smorgasbord in itself and more than enough for two to share. We found a great Rutherford (Napa County) Cabernet blend (Quantum Vineyard) with lots of oomph to round out a delightful gastronomic Valentine's dinner. Can't wait till next year! Once again, Lalime's proves it is among the best of the East Bay restaurants."

"So amazing...everything we ordered was well prepared and top notch. The fish and chips were not greasy by any means and the fish used (haddock, I believe was beyond fresh and delicious. We ordered a slew of items--clam chowder (excellent , fish and chips(see above note : , Shrimp Louie (so fresh--ordered a 1/2 order , and a BBQ tri-tip type sandwich accompanied with mac/cheese,bbq sauces (delish and very flavorful . For two people ordering ALL that food and drinks, came to over $70.00. Doesn'tdisappoint and makes for a great family/date lunch!"

"Rollers (Palmetto Bay) is an eclectic bar shop with an extensive selection of ancient and new world wines and glittering grape varieties around the globe. Their shelves are packed with bottles as well as glassware, barware, wine accessories high quality cheeses. Love cigars? Visit their storing humidor. Finding a rare difficult bottle? They have room for that. But enough about inventory. Let's talk about how these places feel. Although I have spied a 19K bottle in the special wine room, scooters do not radiate any pretense. Instead, it is an oenophile paradise in the most sapiosexual ways. If you like to learn about your sips / glasses / bottles, you would like to make recurring visits. Comfortable tables are under vine-y pergolas for the outdoor collection. Swanky but playfully Hollywood-Glam furnished nooks await intimate rackets. Or just sit at the bar, connect personally with certified somms, for stimulating conversations and clever humor. (Marla, I'll show you.) Every Tuesday, Rollers houses a wine tasting with 4-6 wines. Every other day you can choose a flight of casting. Make sure to order a carefully curated cheese or a charcuterie board for the complete epicurean experience. If you're nosy like me, explore scooters' toilets, professional kitchen and circular staircase to disco ball sky. But above all, do not forget to say that naked picurean sent you. ? "I’ve been to this restaurant several times and I really love their beef and onion pie served with mashed potatoes. Recently, I took my mom, who had never visited before, for lunch. We both ordered the beef and onion pie with mash and enjoyed our meal at one of the outdoor tables. The food was as delicious as always, and my mom was pleased with her meal too. The only downside was the plastic utensils we were given; they were a bit flimsy, making it hard to cut through the pie. However, I don’t blame the restaurant for that."

"**Date: 11/6/2023 - Permanently Closed** O'Charley's has a reputation for offering consistently good food, catering to a wide range of tastes. It's an excellent spot for a meal with friends, offering a menu that appeals to everyone. Throughout our visits, the food has always been well-prepared and reliable. However, during our latest visit, my wife's rice was a little undercooked and crunchy. Just as she noticed this, a manager came over to check if everything was satisfactory. When my wife informed him about the rice, he apologized and promptly went to address the issue in the kitchen. A few minutes later, he returned, acknowledged that the rice did not meet their standards, removed the charge for her meal from the bill, and provided a replacement dish that was correctly prepared at no additional cost. This level of customer service is impressive. I highly recommend giving them a try! **Previous Visit Reflection: 5/21 for the 3-Course Special** During our previous visit, we enjoyed the 3-course special, and the food was abundant and well-prepared. Our waitress was outstanding, making it a worthwhile experience. **Update as of 9/27/2023:** The food remains good but has lost some of its uniqueness. The cup of soup has shrunk to the size of a small coffee cup, and the blackberry cobbler appeared mostly syrupy with very little fruit. Additionally, the menu options have been reduced since before the pandemic. I have some concerns about these changes."

"Of course I give 5 stars because this is literally my favorite restaurant! The Brisket is amazing, the Cobb Salad is awesome, (and I am picky about salads the Ribs are terrific and both their regular and spicy sauces are yummy! The Baked Beans are really close to what my Grandma made and that is the best compliment anyone could ask for. ; Yes, they are expensive, however I'm ok with paying for old-fashioned cooking that I know I will enjoy. I've paid higher prices elsewhere for food that disappointed. You live, you learn. I absolutely love their apple pie. Loved it SO much the first time I had a slice, that I now order the whole pie, just to have it for family visits. :"

"I decided to give this restaurant another chance after my previous visit, where we waited to be seated while they prioritized another party with the same number of people. I almost said something but chose not to. This visit was for my birthday, and while the food was excellent, our server constantly confused our order. It became quite embarrassing. I paid using Google Pay, but they claimed I hadn't paid yet, which made me wait longer than expected. Eventually, I canceled that payment and paid in cash instead. Clearly, there was something wrong with their system. After too many negative experiences, I won't be returning. What a birthday it turned out to be!"

"The Sisters Restaurant is really cute with fun retro/antique tables and chairs. This would be a nice place to meet friends for lunch. We didn't care for the ordering process of having to stand in a line to order your food. Drinks were delivered quickly, but the food was slow to come out. The BLT and sweet potato peanut soup were pretty tasty. The tuna in the tuna melt sandwich was mushy and tasted off. It didn't make me sick, but I honestly couldn't get over the terrible texture and flavor."

"On entering we were told there was a 10-minute wait, even though the place only appeared half full. After being seated our server introduced himself and his accompanying trainee. When asked about vegetarian options he stated that he had never had a vegetarian request in that restaurant. It seemed to be a bold-faced lie and not something to say in front of a trainee. He then said he would check with the kitchen. After waiting for his return for about 5 minutes we decided to leave. Our party went to another restaurant which provided us with excellent service and food."

"My wife and I have been savoring breakfast at Debbie's for nearly 20 years, almost every Saturday morning. You might wander into any restaurant in the county, but you won't discover a better breakfast anywhere else. In fact, all of their food is outstanding, and the staff is exceptional as well. And I haven't even mentioned their pies yet… they're simply delicious!"

"Quaint meets Industrial. This Firehook Bakery location is in an industrial neighborhood and is mostly a production site bakery, not great in appearance, but don't fret the aroma and sight of the goods will get ya… if in the area passing through you can drop in for drinkable coffee, outstanding baked goods, and some pretty darn good breads! We've made this a pit-stop every time we go out to the mountains, wine tasting or country picnicking, it has the ideal products to make your cheese, wine or sandwiches really' good! Highly recommended."

"My fiancée and I follow a strict keto diet, and I was truly impressed by how the staff accommodated our needs without hesitation. There were many items on the menu that could be modified (which was highlighted in the menu, and I found that really impressive!), and they already had plenty of keto-friendly options available. Additionally, the live music and the rustic charm of this cozy spot created a wonderful atmosphere. This will definitely be our new go-to place for date nights!"
