"Well I didn't go here for many months because I had a terrible experience with her female manager who is completely rude and completely unprofessional but I always like the deli there so I decided to place an order on ciao now today. Got to the establishments when I was supposed to pick up my order and nobody knew anything about the order in fact the older woman at the register said you probably placed your order in Ronkonkoma this is Nesconset Out did you know you're in this concept. I told her yes I know exactly where I placed my order I proceeded to show the water to the young girl behind the counter and she knew nothing about it as well. Instead of making my order I had to wait for every customer that was inside the store to finish their order making my total wait time one hour I was in the store for about 30 minutes past the tome it was supposed to be ready and guess what it was still wrong!!! Shame on Handy Pantry....The only associate there that was kind and offered any help with this young girl with blue streaked hair she was very sweet and kind and the only person that actually knew what they were doing in the whole place!"

"update: handy pantry reached to correct and I appreciate that! to handy pantry: many thanks for their answer and offer to fix the problem. both orders were placed on grubhub, like most of our orders every week for handy pantry, in which regular without problems. grubhub hasn't relied so much, but I'm just glad that this has been acknowledged and hoped that no problems will get more cowardly. order details per your inquiry:6/3 order 97381906 0156175; pfefferoncini and hot sauce missing on both sandwiches6/5: order 76291908 7915997; via simple eggs were cooked over hard (usually always properly cooked) handy pantry makes in the regel amazing eiersandwiche. it hurts me to write this, but the last 2 orders were a disappointment, including false cooked eggs on one order, and lacked several items on 2 deli sandwiches on another order. even if they order by grub hub, they never seem to read the special instructions box. I really hope that handy pantry reads these reviews and makes adjustments accordingly, because they have good food and I would love to give them the business. I command them again and see if this is just a fuke or the new norm."

"The older gentleman behind the counter didn’t seem to keep track of the orders he was taking, often forgetting about waiting customers in favor of chatting with those who had already received their food. They also didn’t know how to make iced coffee correctly, refilling the machine with steaming hot coffee instead. It’s disappointing to see that the days when Americans who grew up in delis worked at them are fading. The owners of this place seem uninterested in providing proper training for their staff, which sets a low standard. I spent over $11 on undercooked scrambled eggs and burnt bacon on a plain roll, along with a mediocre iced coffee. I really should have gone to the Burger King in the same strip mall instead, where for $10 I would have received much better food and coffee. I won’t be returning. Harry, the owner, labeled my comments as racist, but I’m actually an immigrant American woman of color. I wish he would prioritize hiring documented, fully-taxed immigrant Americans. Deliberately avoiding paying federal taxes and defrauding the state of essential worker compensation funds is a serious issue that affects vulnerable populations. Harry, you’re an exploitative, tax-evading business owner. The staff at Harbor Deli appeared to be disengaged and lacking in basic skills. I doubt you would subject wealthier, whiter clientele on Main Street to such poor service and subpar food. Train your staff and raise your standards."

"First visit here and was very happy with it. Menu was huge...many choices. For a diner, it was was very clean inside. This isnt your typical greasy spoon. Waiter was friendly and the food was very good. I had the Italian Burger with a side of fries. Burger was not a sopping greasy mess but was tasty, with a good amount of toppings. I had a cup of coffee as well. .. waiter brought out a mug of coffee! Even the coffee was tasty...not burnt old jo. Btw the way at the table was a sign advertising bottles of wine at prices that you usually don't see in a restaurant. This place has been here a long time, wish I had come here sooner! As an afterthought.. If the chefs there read this.. add some hot pickled cherry peppers to that Italian Burger for a real winning alternative."

"I didn't actually order. The customer service was great, but if you are going to claim people say you have the best chai in town a sugary powdered mix isn't it. I'm very sad that trying to order a decent chai in this area is Mission impossible. And after kicking Starbucks to the side I was looking for a new place too. "The appetizers were EXCELLENT !!!!!!!!!! ( Brie Brulee unbelievably delicious!!!!!!!!!) The beet salad and garden salad was refreshingly cold,crisp, very tasty and a superb bite.The entrees? Not so much: Crab and shrimp pasta had succulent shrimp but the homemade rigatoni were NOT cooked..like eating raw dough. The Taziki sauce was UNDER everything on the Gyro Platte, and difficult to access in order to spread on the pita/meat/greens combo, and the meat was soft and crumbly, almost like poorly mixed meatloaf. The presentation of the gyro plate per se was eye-catching but the arrangement made it difficult to assemble everything.The salmon was awesome, as were the potatoes and beets, but the greens under everything were too chewy and not tasty at all. The blueberry panna cotta was flavorless , but the mousse cake/pie had a heavenly crust. Coffee was strong, tasty, had NO bitterness.I would recommend Thea's for FABULOUS appetizers and an awesome beet salad but the entrees left a lot to be desired ."

"New year dinner with my friend, food is great. Service sucked, not only the waitress placed wrong in my order, she never said sorry and gave me attitude. She barely checked us and upset us all the time. Although the food is really good, I use it to love here, but it was dead in recent times and we sat in a stand where the upholstery collapsed and fell apart. Bathroom not refilled with paper or soap. I don't want to go to a place where the food is good, but they don't have money to fix their stands or nobody can fill the soap dispensers or paper in a bathroom. "I'm from Chicago, but I absolutely love diners. I used to work at a gym nearby, and this place popped up on my feed. I was in the mood for a chicken salad (which they didn’t have), but what I ended up getting was even better! I ordered the Durango sandwich, which came with bacon, speck, guacamole, ranch, chili peppers, cheese, and maybe a few other ingredients. It was a fantastic sandwich! The waitress was also really nice. If you're looking for a great spot for breakfast or lunch (they serve breakfast all day), definitely give Kassidy's a try!"

"I went with a small group of coworkers while on an out of town business trip after several other coworkers recommended Macado's despite it being a 30 mile out of the way drive for them. The chicken wings, although small, were delicious and had a bit ofcrunchiness still left in the skin despite the buffalo sauce. This was a big plus. I had the bacon cheeseburger with an onionring on it and the whole sandwich was excellent. There is something about the burger bun that was just the right sort of chewyand it had a good flavor. Tall, tall burger on the plate and well worth the price. Fries were basic but good. Our server was avery quiet guy but he did great and had solid answers for any questions we asked him. I personally would not go after hoursbecause I am not the bar hopping sort but there looked to be a lot of potential space for groups and lots of beer available.Lunch crowd was just the right side for me. Parking in the evening must be insane since the lot is small. Overall, everyone inmy party loved their food and we had a solid lunch."

"Great deals. wings on sunday and monday how can you beat that. our favs are teriyaki, spicy thai and sesame ginger. they also have a general tsao (off menu) that's ok too. the bbq flavors are good too burgers on tuesdays the burgers are good. if you like your burgers well done, they might have a few burnt parts. it tastes better to get it either med or med well. the sandwich menu seems endless but most if it is pretty good."
