"Two of us, who had never visited the Copper Pot before, dined there for lunch on a Monday. We arrived a bit late, so the restaurant was mostly empty. The service was excellent, and the owner was very attentive and helpful in answering our questions about different menu items. "I just found another hidden gem in the worlds most Iconic city, living here in San Francisco, you can find anything and everything. But there are some that are a diamond in the rough. This restaurant was amazing in all aspects, fast service, fast arrival of food, and quality is beyond 5 star. This just hits the spot! I can’t emphasize how many times I’ve driven past by this hidden restaurant, the name is sketchy cause it looks like a grocery store, then looks like a restaurant, but it’s both. Some staff with tell you certain things not available due to staff, then owner will make it for you if you ask them. They can’t clean up table to flow customers through. "Service was bad. It's one man with 100 tasks. The waiter was busy tending the Uber eats orders and phone and left my table at least 3 times while speaking with us.Chapli kebab was burned and salty. We sent it back and it came back just the same way, almost like they rinsed it off with water.Goat Rara was flavorful but a little salty as well.Lamb Rogan Josh was good. Second time having it.My first time here everything was delicious and the service was great. This time, not at all."

"I booked this location for my son's third birthday and had 150 guests. I was absolutely amazed by the level of service and quality of food. The owner Tony was great and very accommodating and took care of all the details. We had a very detailed menuand Tony took time out to make sure that every thing was taken care of. I have had India and Pakistani food all over NJ andthis was by far the best experience. Better then any restaurants in Edison or Jersey City. "Really nice restaurant that serves authentic Indian foods. When you first walk in you get the feeling, that you entered a buffet style restaurant. But you soon realize it’s a full serve restaurant. There’s plenty of pictures showing the food, as well as a really good description of the entrees. Tandoori Chicken -marinated chicken cooked in a clay oven Chicken Tikka Masala -chicken cooked in delicious creamy sauce Chicken Tikka- good pieces of chicken and served with mint sauce. "This food has always been delicious and consistent. I've been a fan since around 2008 or so. Not sure what other people are complaining about. I visited TajM before, during and after the covid lockdowns. the establishment stayed open and available even without the buffet probably required by health department. Eating off the buffet or off the menu TajM never disappoints. They are so good and so awesome to adjust their spicey food for even some of the schools to offer food to young kids (montessouri). today I stopped in and ate from the buffet.. fantastic food and service.. a familiar face, the lovely older gentleman was so gracious and kind. Best food, not just indian food, in pittsburgh. veg khorma, chicken tikka masala, and tandori chix are some of my favorites.. and the rice pudding and sweet honey balls for desert are always excellent."

"This restaurant has been a staple for a long time and still maintains a cozy, family-owned atmosphere. The establishment was very clean, and the service was outstanding. We visited for the lunch buffet, and at just $15 per person, the authentic food is unbeatable. My favorites included the goat curry, palak, paneer tikka masala, and kheer for dessert. "I went to this spot for lunch and I ordered my lunch via the internet. I ordered the vegetable kolhapuri and it cost $13.93. When I arrived I parked on the street nearby. When I checked in it said I could get 10% off but one of the men that worked there said they didn't honor it and walked away which was rude. Another man came from the back and asked me if I was ordering and I said I was picking up and I told him my name. He said give it 10 more minutes. He was really nice ablut it. After a while he bought the food out and I left. When I got home I ate and it was just ok. I had to add some seasoning to it to taste but it was filling. All in all it was just an ok experience."

"I love the food at this restaurant. It is farm to table and it shows. There are just too many problems that can not be over looked. If there are more than 6 tables with people at them, turn around and go elsewhere. The service breaks down and you can sit for 40 minutes without your order being taken. That was our LAST experience. The staff is very nice, kind of like a 50's movie where a bunch of students decide to run a ski lodge. If I had already eaten it would be funny. My other issue is that the description on the menu may not match what you get. I am not talking about spice level or an unfamiliar dish. I am talking about something simple. I ordered Tandoori Chicken. Whole $20, Half $15. A fair price. I ordered a Whole Chicken. I was surprised when my Whole chicken had 3 wings and 4 legs but no breasts. We do not live in an area known for mutant chickens. When I asked for an explanation I was told the menu means whole or half order. I tried explaining that every other restaurant I had ever been to defined whole and half chicken differently or explained that it was not a whole or half bird, the owner blew me off. Blow off this restaurant. There are other choices."

"Food was delicious, the real deal. Service on the other hand was pretty poor. We waited 20 minutes after we were seated at 7:30 for a waiter to come by. When our food (mains) arrived at 9:00 several items were missing and came after we had basically had our meal. The waiter offered no explanation or apology which would have been nice. When I asked later what had happened he just said “it failed to print”. If you want some unique and authentic Indian food…go…but don’t expect much on the service end."

We reached by 7.45 and we have to order everything at same time as their cook was not available after 8 PM.We ordered Shahi Paneer where Paneer Pieces (grated paneer were missing so you can call it as KHOYA Paneer too. Also, veg and non-veg biryani (its menu card says biryani but I can call masala fried rice only was same except some boiled chicken pieces in non-veg. Pakoda's were come with extra oil and Manchurian was dark red shade(Full of food color . Chicken Kabab's were chicken sausages with Indian masala tadka.Cherry on Cake is attitude of servicing person may be owner. His attitude can be compared with King of Empire only (Even preseident of any country wont show you that much attitude as he is doing favor for serving us.I can suggest if your cook in hurry , you can display closed board and you are not happy to serve customers then close restaurant.I will not recommend even my enemy to go here. "Cardamom is only just ok, its not amazing by any stretch. It should be better fare given its proximity to the excellent Indian restaurants in Jackson Heights. Too bad. The prices are VERY high for what you get honestly. Im not usually one to complain about cost either. Imo the entrees are about $10 over what they should be for the quality and size of the dish. Had the 42. Tikka Masala and the 43. Korma been $15 and $16 respectively I would have said they were a good value but since they are $25 and $26 dishes I expect more in terms of quality. There were 5 or 6 chunks of overcooked chicken in the 42. Tikka Masala and about the same of the nameless white fish (my guess is tilapia) in the 43. Korma. No complaints about the 69. Garlic Naan and the 6. Mango Chutney both were tasty and reasonably priced. Sunnysiders just shouldnt settle for sub par Indian fare."

"They make food asper White Peoples Taste . Do not go there to waste money . The waitor didn't even ask us what spice level we want . He automatically gave us very mild and sweet sabzi . Kadai paneer never ever has saucy creamy gravy . It is supposed to be dry with vegetables . We asked them to bring the food later , because our baby was crying , and they bought it but they didn't have Curtsey to warm up the food for us again . Instead they brought us the same food that was cold . Then when we complained food was very mild , they made terribly spicy . Hard to even eat . It's not a restaurant for Indian people"
