"I typically feel kind of guilty when I leave a 3 star review for a restaurant that wasn 't bad, but wasn 't great. But Meh, I don 't think we 'll come back. is what my wife and I said as we walked out. We were immediately greeted and had the door opened for us, and I will say, the customer service and ambiance is probably the best part of this diner. It seems that they 're going for a 50s diner experience based on the waiter/waitress outfits, and it seems fitting with lots of older folks that were enjoying their breakfast when we went. I ordered the Classic Skillet and my wife ordered the Daily Triple. My skillet was extremely underwhelming with potatoes that just seemed slightly boiled and not seasoned, bacon bits, cheese and then a fruit bowl with 5-6 total pieces of fruit. The best part was the avocado, but come on, it 's avocado. My wife 's Daily Triple seemed equally underwhelming with bad plating. It was a large plate with 2 eggs, 1 sausage link, and a pancake. It just looked so incomplete, and I understand that it has everything described in the menu, but when you see it, it looks like they forgot something. Maybe I 'm used to hash browns coming with every meal like a lot of other breakfast joints, but you don 't realize how full other plates seem to be until you see this. I really think this could have been fixed with a smaller plate. As for the taste, my meal wasn 't great with the undercooked potatoes, and hers was just fine. Again: eggs, sausage link, and a pancake. Hard to mess that up. Pricing seems to be about the same across the board. $10-12 for everything, which I think is really fair, but flavor is definitely lacking. We were happy to support a local establishment, but we can 't justify spending around the same amount of money for food that didn 't have us wanting to come back, when the surrounding area has so many other breakfast/brunch spots."
