"I would give everything a 5, but I’m giving the restaurant a 2. Serious point, 20% gratuity automatically added to every check. Why? I did t even realize until I got home had a chance to think about it and why it told me my bill was 15% less than what it was after “taxes.” I of course didn’t see the print at bottom of menu, so I also tipped the server another 25%, but let’s say I hadn’t.., did that 20% also go to her? Why is there an automatic tip now? When did that start? Which leads me to my final question has it affected business? I ask because sure tipping almost 50% without realizing it is enough to make me not want to go back… Change my mind. ??‍"

Always been a great place to dine. Love Samantha aka Sam, the bartender. She is awesome!

The food is served hot and fresh, with fantastic taste. I rated it 4 stars only because the wedge fries were a bit soggy.

I ordered the salmon with spinach and wasn good! Salmon was dry and unseasoned!Definetly no love from the chef or whomever prepared this dish!

The salmon was fantastic! My okra was missing from the initial delivery, but an employee took the time to bring it to me, along with a delightful sweet treat! View menu

I've been visiting Windrush since it first opened, but I won't be returning. I found bugs in the bread, and the enforced 20% tip for subpar service is disappointing. It's sad to see how things have declined. - JTW

All the food was very good! The only problem was the chips that came with the artic dip were so thin and they broke so easily that you couldnt use them to dip with. I definitely recommend something thicker for the spinach and artichoke dip.

This was my first experience dining at this restaurant, and I was very satisfied. The fish portions were excellent, well-seasoned, and served hot. The bread pudding, while a bit on the small side, was delicious. I will definitely return to this place. View menu

The food here is excellent, but if you're in the mood for a fantastic burger, you have to try the basic house burger—with cheese, of course, and some fries. It’s pure perfection in taste! I even drive 30 miles just to enjoy it, and on Wednesdays, they have a buy one get one free deal that’s unbeatable. Every trip is worth it! Now that I've mentioned it, I can’t stop thinking about that burger until I can go back. The Dagwood sandwich is incredible as well; I haven’t had a bad meal there yet!

My mom and I stopped in for lunch and decided to order appetizers and split them, we ordered the shrimp appetizer, quesadillas and I got a side salad. It was more than plenty of food!! The firecracker shrimp were good but the siraccha ketchup tasted a little “ketchupy”, the quesadillas were good, they were served with guacamole, pico, and sour cream. Side salad was also good! Our overall experience was good, I would go back and eat again! Also, the staff was attentive and friendly in spite of a busy lunch crowd !

"Our reservation was for 7 pm? we arrived 10 minutes before. We were told there is a wait?asked about outdoor seating as it was available on a first come first serve. We were told there were several tables that had been closed out and they were just sitting. We decided to wait for our table.. we were finally seated at 7:17 pm. We get drinks and bread and for 15 minutes we wait for our server to come get our appetizer order and we go ahead and give our entrée order? appetizercame out quickly, but the entrees took about 45 minutes so we spent 30 minutes just sitting and waiting- server had not come by to check on us. We finally get our entrees and they were a bit salty. My friends entree was too salty to eat -we asked for another entree to replace the one that was too salty to eat and the server tried to explain its seasoned but we know the difference between salty and seasoned. 30 minutes of waiting for the replacement dish- still no food so weasked to cancel the order and pay for our current ticket. The server said well it?s already been ordered- so we still asked to cancel the dish and bring our ticket. Finally the ticket came we closed out and left? this was our first timedining here and will be our last. It was noisy but we were able to have decent level conversations. I would have liked for our dining experience to be better for the prices and atmosphere. We never saw a manager to address our issues. Wehad to go to dinner after our dinner!!!"

"To sum it all up, WOW. Just WOW!?? We were told to come try the food by several people on the 318 Food Page/Group here on Facebook. The food did NOT disappoint ? we got the loaded Cajun fries, the gumbo, the pho, the fried rice, the stir fry noodles, and finished off with a king cake funnel cake.? The fusion and technique used to create these lovely dishes is outstanding. You can taste the love in each dish and you can tell they truly put an effort into everything here. Our server (apologies because I don’t recall her name) was so sweet, very attentive and efficient! Even when things got a little busy, she continued to offer amazing customer service. (As a former server and manager, servers have a huge impact on the meal/dining experience) her service enhanced the experience for us and just made the visit overall VERY pleasant. The Viet Iced Coffee she made was literally to die for and I wish I could’ve ordered a whole bucket full of it??? The location is kinda “out their” but trust me, it’s worth the drive, the walk, the bike ride, etc! Support local during the pandemic (well always, but especially during these times) Don’t let the negative reviews steer you away, I assure you it’s beyond worth it, and as friendly as the staff is, give them an opportunity to fix anything if your dining experience differs from mine! 5 Stars!??? we are PCSing overseas in less than 2 weeks, but trust me when I say we’ll be back before we go!?"
