"Overall excellent experience in a beautiful and elegant venue with some opportunities for improvement. We were immediately greeted by the hostess, escorted to our table and greeted by our server, who graciously explained the menu. The assistant server poured water and offered lemon and cucumber slices. They also brought a tray of five bread options and two butters to the table—all were delicious. We ordered cocktails (which were generous) and were also given complimentary sparkling wine for an occasion we were celebrating. We were offered an amuse bouche fig drenched in gazpacho which was the perfect palate opener. We ordered appetizers trout (mousse) served with toast points and while it was very flavorful it was over salted. An iceberg lettuce salad was crisp and fresh and served decomposed with generous lardons and the perfect dressing. All three main courses were served simultaneously and the portions were generous especially the fried chicken. The fillet was Perfectly cooked Medium rare, the truffle pasta was al dente and flavorful but a bit heavy on the sauce. The sides of green beans and mashed potatoes were enjoyed though lacked the sophistication of the other dishes one green bean was not cut and very stringy; the mashed potatoes could have been better seasoned and were underwhelming. The servers were very attentive and often refilled drinks as needed without request. For dessert we ordered the banana pudding an inventive and delightful presentation but the banana pudding lacked a bit of flavor. The blueberry dusted chocolate mousse was unusual and grew on the palate with a few bites. Everyone we encountered was gracious and attentive. A few constructive criticisms: the assistant server cleaned the table crumbs with a napkin and appeared to wipe them onto the carpet—a proper crumbed and plate would have been more appropriate. The room itself is very large and lacked warmth. Overall, a wonderful dinner followed by by an exciting Grand Prix!"

"All in all, I was a bit let down. The visit started off on a not so great note when no one said hi or really acknowledged us standing there and when I walked a little further in to the front area to ask if we could take the one empty booth, the waitress snapped that she needed to clean the table first. Things got better over the course of our meal but the overall temperature from the waitress was pretty cold. The food itself was okay but nothing stood out. The Asian Chopped salad was long slivers of red and green peppers and crunchy noodles, not the neatest thing to eat, but I liked the addition of roasted peanuts. Other than the dressing (the usual sesame/ginger , not clear what made it Asian. The stir fry veggies bowl was a sad, goopy mix of basic vegetables tossed in a brown sauce with an enormous portion of white rice. For a $13 dish, the actual portion of veggies was measly (and c 'mon, no baby corn or water chestnuts or eggplant? . The fish tacos fared better with a crispy battered shell that held up all right under a mountain of toppings (slaw, pico de gallo, guac, cilantro, and jalapeños . I 'm a taco purist and like eating a well constructed taco that stays relatively intact with every bite this one fell apart just lifting it up. Biggest disappointment was the harvest chicken salad sandwich. I love a good simple chicken salad sandwich, nothing hits the spot more. The cream in this one was overpoweringly sweet. It tasted like a Japanese take on an American classic, but what didn 't do it for me was how overly buttered the bread was and the lukewarm temperature of the chicken salad, probably having been taken out of the fridge and squashed between two slices of toast. Overall, meh the drinks and desserts looked good but not sure I 'd come back."
