"We had not been here for a while, but decided to visit since it is conveniently close. What a disappointment. I ordered an Eggplant Parmigiana Hero. Took my first bite and knew I made a mistake. It was like eating a bread and sauce and cheese sandwich. The sauce tasted like diluted tomato paste, but what was worse was their excuse for the eggplant. It was sliced so thin that you could not taste nor recognize it was eggplant. It was still breaded which added to the bread on bread taste. A total ripoff. We will not be back! By the way, our server whose name I think was Angelina was terrific, pleasant and professional."

"I reached out in some Facebook groups for recommendations on local catering that not only tastes great but also delivers. I received several suggestions for Hartsdale House of Pizza, and they certainly lived up to the hype! The food arrived on time and was piping hot. I ordered a large tray of Chicken Marsala, Penne Vodka, and Eggplant Rolentini, and each dish was absolutely delicious! My guests couldn't stop complimenting the food; it was seriously tasty! I enjoyed it so much that I decided to go back to support them and order pizza. It was fantastic! The thin, crispy crust and flavorful sauce made it a hit—even my picky 12-year-old thought it was the best pizza he’s ever had (and he loves pizza!). Mark, the owner, was incredibly helpful as well. Kudos to Hartsdale House of Pizza!"

"We have been eating at Joe’s since before they moved to this location. We eat here regularly 1-2 times a month at varying times/days. We have had some good visits but in the past 3-4 months it has been issue after issue. It started with salads being forgotten a couple of times. Which, fine. It is what it is. Then appetizers either being forgotten or coming out after our meal. Lack of cups and silverware. Sitting for 15-20 minutes before our drink order is taken then another 15-20 minutes before they show up. (just soft drinks and water, not even beer) I have gotten up to get our refills on drinks multiple times because no one came by to check on us. One time, my husband ordered a pepperoni lover calzone and it came with no pepperoni. Just today, we came for the buffet. There were hardly any pizzas to pick from, hardly anything at the salad bar left, and no dessert pizza. Buffet is advertised as 11:00-3:00 but I guess they stop putting up new pizzas at 1:30. I say this now because we have given multiple chances. Mainly because we love the food and want this place to thrive. But something has to be done to make it better. Effort would be appreciated. And yes, we have raised our concerns to the servers and the front counter personnel on a few different occasions. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $10–20 Food: 2 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2"

"I would rate this Pizza Inn location higher because, first, the pizza is delicious, and second, the service and the manager were outstanding. However, I was a bit put off when I walked in and saw a couple of employees, or perhaps family members, occupying the dining area as if it were a living room. On the positive side, the pizza was fresh and hot! The service was prompt and attentive, and as I mentioned earlier, the manager was fantastic. The restaurant was very clean, and overall, I had a great experience at this location!"

"The food was on Par for this type of establishement. Although there was nothing i hated, there was nothing my party absolutely loved either. The chicken in the my Chicken and Bacon Wrap was dry and lacked flavor. I saved it by stealing my wife's blue cheese off her Cobb Salad and drowning it in Ranch. My wife's cobb salad was very light on the salad, but lots of extras (Pic included). Also my personal preference i am not a fan this type of french fry. Plus side the staff was attentive and friendly. We also enjoyed the atmosphere."

"A few things might have brought the stars down some, but because the staff was so friendly and working so hard, they deserve the full 5 stars and then some so that?s what I?m giving. They didn?t realize we were paying attention, but their team work wasamazing. It seems there had been a huge rush before we arrived tonight (Labor Day 2022). The restaurant was nearly empty, but itwas obvious by the mess that it had been packed before we arrived. The staff was as busy as bees cleaning up and offering tohelp clean each other?s areas. The buffet was picked over, and no fresh pizza was brought out while we were there, but the pizzaflavor was good. I?m sure it was excellent when fresh. There were fresh calzone slices set out that were good. The salad bar anddesserts needed several items refilled, but had a good variety. Bathroom was spotless clean and well stocked. Price was veryreasonable (under $11 per person including tax- we did not order drinks). Would have liked to have other pizza crust optionsbesides cracker thin- nothing wrong with the thin crust, but it was the only choice. A better quality salad dressing would makethe salad bar 5 stars. The dressing was meh. Kudos for having the chili the right temperature. It was steaming HOT just like itshould be! How we learned about Pizza Inn: We were traveling through the Salem area and had noticed a billboard 2 miles away. Ifwe are in the area again, we would definitely return."

"I rarely, if at all, volunteer a critique of a restaurant, and then only if I was very enthusiastic in the dining experience. But I feel that a warning should be written to warn locally, but never there, and visitors to Sikeston. The waitress took my drink order and just left things to do. Apparently, she assumed that I was there for the buffet and would help myself. Not familiar with the facility I sat in my seat and drank the soda I had ordered and waited for if I wanted a menu or the buffet. I'm tired of waiting after 10 minutes and seeing what the procedure was. She told me to help me with the buffet. I did. I chose spaghetti and a piece of 2 of the only pizzas at the buffet. I would have assumed that there was a little to offer, as it was only 11:15, as far as normal lunch would come. I took a bite from the spaghetti, and I can honestly say my 8-year-old grandson can make a better catch. One of the pizza slices was so salty that I didn't come past the first bite. Not good for anyone with blood pressure problems. Their idea of a salad selection was a pitiful joke; only salad and a few salad toppings. There was a prepared tray of a salad that didn't look very appetizing. happiness for them (and I wish them well) there were some of what had to be regular, which seemed to enjoy themselves; Otherwise, I don't see how they can stay in business."

"Honestly I can understand that it's Sunday and those are busier days but I had to go to the front and ask for drinks and the buffet had barely anything on it when we got there and we sat and waited for an hour before more food was finally brought out but at that point we filled up on salad. "This is a takeout spot or a great place for a quick, casual meal. The standout dish is the penne a la vodka with grilled chicken – it’s absolutely spectacular, no joke! You have to try it and thank me later! I’ve sampled this dish in New York and various countries, and Uncle Petter's in Jackson Heights and Carlos Pizzeria top the list for the best penne a la vodka. "I wasn’t expecting fine dining at the old Zippers, but I did hope for a cleaner environment, especially since it had just opened. The waitress seemed a bit overwhelmed and was slow to refill the pizza. That said, the pizza we had was quite tasty. The salad bar could use some improvements. I saw a soft serve machine and assumed it was included with the meal, but it wasn’t, and we weren’t informed. We were surprised to see a $45 bill for three pizza buffets and two soft serves. Unlike Lisa’s earlier review, it definitely was NOT hot inside!"

"Our family of 3 went there this afternoon. Lots of pizza on the buffet and it was all very good. The buffet price does include your drink, so it is a more reasonable place for a buffet meal. We requested a BLT pizza and it was absolutely delicious!!! Onlyissue was with our waitress. She was not personable to say the least. I can deal with that because I usually give the benefit ofthe doubt and say she might have things going on that day. This doesn?t seem to be the case. While we were eating I watched herwalk out with her handbag and jacket. Shortly after, a very sweet, friendly, smiling, young lady, came to our table andapologized stating our waitress walked out and that she would be waiting on us. Upon checking out, I asked about what happenedand was told she got mad over staffing arrangements. I asked if her walking out meant she quit/fired? I was told she should bebut that she does it all the time. Not only was it extremely unprofessional but a staff member that was scheduled to work in theback had to work as a waitress, to cover her customers that she walked out on, but also a cashier too. Maybe the new Ownersneed to be more hands on. I really want this Pizza Inn to continue getting a better reputation than the last one. The pizzareally was good. The sides could have been better though. We will go back. The good staffers sure made up for 1 bad one."
