"I have dined at this restaurant many times over the years. Unfortunately, most of the waitstaff and those who answered the phone were not knowledgeable about vegan options. The manager informed me that the pizza crust, most pastas (except for fettuccine), and marinara sauce are vegan. You can order a salad, pasta primavera (with clear instructions), or a pizza with marinara and vegan cheese, but they do not offer any vegetables on the pizza as they are pre-sautéed in chicken broth. The only vegetable option without chicken broth is the fried eggplant, which contains egg. When ordering the pasta primavera, be sure to specify no chicken broth in the preparation, especially if you want it with garlic and oil. It is disappointing that with such a large menu, there are so few vegan options and that the staff is not well-trained in this area. We now prefer to dine at Bramalos in Bellmore, which offers a much more vegan-friendly experience."

"A wonderful restaurant to grab an excellent pizza out of the hustle of the streets. Tucked away dining in a small, but eclectic old space. We dined here twice in 3 days and excellent food and service both times. Can wait to enjoy my leftover pizza in the morning. Desserts are excellent as well. Cheesecake is exceptional as is the cherry pie!"

"that was the first time I ever was here and I have to say that I was not disappointed. space was clean, pleasant and a comfortable place to enjoy breakfast for a reasonable price. the food was delicious and served quickly. our waitress, though I didn't know her name was busy, but she made sure everyone took care of her. it seemed almost as if it was the only one that was on the tables, but the service was not affected because they were taking care of their customers and giving orders in a timely manner. the huh and the wads were a must to try huh was delicious. omelette was cooked for perfection. this is a must try if they are ever in the early garten area."

"We visited Orso for the first time and had a Pizza Orso, a Cheese Pizza, a Frutti di Mare Pizza, and a spaghetti with meatballs. The food was generally excellent, the pizzas has a great pie that is beautifully wood-fired, and the cheeses are flavorful.However, the seafood pizza was quite low on seafood ingredients, it had exactly 4 small shrimps: one per slice, and the otherseafood ingredients were non-existent. While the Pizza tasted great, it was essentially a cheese pizza and not a seafood one.This is a missed opportunity since it would have been a true 5/5 had they included actual seafood."

"I’m not sure what to say about this place; it hardly qualifies as a restaurant. It seems to be experiencing an identity crisis because it definitely feels more like a nightclub! I'm not sure how that works for them. We were first greeted by a hostess who didn’t speak English, which was a bit confusing. Then we were handed a menu that was much smaller than what we had seen on OpenTable. My dish was supposed to come with "gac," but we had to pay extra when we asked for it. The waitstaff seemed overwhelmed and stressed; I suppose that’s typical for a club atmosphere. I really can’t imagine sitting at one of the high tables, as the stools are quite uncomfortable compared to the lower ones. The whole place feels chaotic. On the bright side, the food was good, and thankfully, no one got sick from it."

"This was our first visit, and we can't wait to return! My husband and I decided to share our meals so we could try both a dinner and a pizza. They served us some bread and butter as well, which was a lovely touch. The menu offered a great variety of choices. We ordered the Montreal Tenderloin medallions, which were delicious, tender, and flavorful. I had a side of minestrone soup, while my husband opted for potatoes. We also tried the large Meat Lovers pizza, which was freshly baked and perfect for taking home the next day—it was fantastic too! Sadly, we were too full for dessert, but we definitely plan to come back. The waitstaff was quick, friendly, and overall just perfect."

"I used to go here a lot like 8 years ago. Today is 2023 and let me tell you I have eaten in a lot of pizza spots in the city where they claim to have the best pizza. This is the best spot in QUEENS!!! If you get a chicken slice your slice is gonna be stuffed. I highly recommend any chicken slice. Their regular is great too. Grandma as well. But every time I come here I get the Buffalo chicken slice and chicken Marsala slice. Trust me when you see it from the outside you might question the pizza but look at how much chicken they give you. Definitely need to try this place. I’m not getting any compensation from this. This place needs to be promoted for the great pizza they make."

"I would give zero stars if possible. There food is DISGUSTING I ordered a baked ziti and it was dry, also sauce, burnt cheese, and seasoned like it was Latino food not Italian. I also got meatballs on the side and for whatever reason my meatballs were CRUNCHY. I took one bite and it was crunchy like I bit into a crouton or something. Not to mention the taste was just awful. All of it. Please save yourself the bad experience and money, order somewhere else."

"Finally getting around to writing a review. Way past due. We were regular customers of the old Ferraro's and were heartbroken when the owner Giulio died and then later the restaurant closed. We were so glad when the restaurant was renovated and reopened. We couldn't be happier with the new owners and staff and also the fact that a lot of the old menu items and recipes, including some of the cooks have also remained. And so has the house salad with cheese and pizza bread that comes with the meal! The food, both old and new items are all wonderful. There are weekly lunch specials and weekend dinner specials. They are always fresh and flavorful. We are now regulars of the new Ferraro's and eat there a couple times a week. Not only do we enjoy the food but we also enjoy the staff and the owners. They have become family. We were there last night and I had the Veal Francese and my husband had the chicken special. The veal was very tender as was the chicken. The Pistachio sauce on the chicken was delicious and I just love the lemony Francese sauce. I highly recommend trying Ferraro 1061. You will not be disappointed!"
