"This restaurant is truly a hidden gem. They are famous for their gelato and always have several vegan flavors available. During my visit tonight, there were five different vegan options to choose from. The owner's daughter, who is also a co-owner, creates the vegan flavors and is even willing to make them by request. In addition to the gelato, they offer a variety of vegan meals, including a quesadilla that resembles a burrito with rice, beans, grilled vegetables, guacamole, salsa, and more. While they do not have vegan cheese or meat, they are very accommodating to vegan customers. I have been coming to this restaurant my whole life since I live in the area, and I am thrilled that I can still enjoy it as a vegan. It is worth mentioning that the owner's daughter is vegetarian herself. They also have many gluten-free options available."

My only complaint is that I am allergic to peppers, and it’s impossible to get their delicious broccolini or cauliflower without as they are all pre seasoned; would love to see this change and we’d go much more often!"

"The staff there was amazing! We had a bridal brunch for my bestfriend and from the staff to the food everything was hands down great. Ann was amazing in helping me to reserve the room pick the menu and ensure everything was set for party day! I was impressed that they even had a wide color selection of napkins to choose from. I even liked that though we brought our own decorations, they offered to look to see if they had anything else that we may need in their stock. They ensured we had enough tables for gifts. Guests. And desserts. I also liked that we were able to bring our own desserts. I honestly wish I could remember our waitress?s name, because she kept ME sane while I?m trying to decorate the room and she?s trying so her job haha. When guests arrived and the Bride arrived our waitress was on top of her game with ensuring everything was perfect for us all. The mimosas were never empty which the guests LOVED! There was also a great selection of juices for the mimosas- not just orange juice. The food was amazing. I could probably eat The white breakfast pizza every day and not get tired of it. So so so good ! I wish I could say more, but I don?t want to make this too long."

"What I actually appreciate the most about The Star on Park is the atmosphere and the decor it 's a casual restaurant with a really nice bank theme, as I believe it used to be a bank. There were really nice chandeliers and the counters was the the bank vault . It definitely had a nice vibe to it. I was impressed when I stepped in. My party of 4 didn 't have a reservation on a Saturday night, so we had to wait about 15 minutes, which wasn 't too long. We shared: 1) California Thin Crust Pizza, which is pesto based with arugula, sun dried tomato, and red onions with a balsamic reduction. I appreciated the tang and the pesto! It had really good flavor and a nice crust. 2) Vegetarian Deep Dish Pizza definitely quite a heavy dish as it 's deep dish and packed with zucchini, mushrooms, and bell pepper. It also had a good garlic flavor! 3) Mixed salad refreshing salad to start out meal! I 'm personally not the biggest fan of pizza in general, but I did appreciate the thin crust pizza here. I enjoyed this place more because of the atmosphere! But if I 'm ever craving pizza, I 'll definitely stop by!"

"I am starting to loose faith here. My last 3 orders seemed smaller then before. The prices were higher aswell. Tonight I ordered a Sea scallop plate. I arrived 12 minutes before the time my order was supposed to be ready. Low and behold it was indeed waiting for me to pick up. It was sitting on the bottom self of the work station a spot that should only be used for cold subs. I thanked the cashier and drove the 8 minutes home. All was cold,my sea scallops looked like large bay scallops. about the diameter of a nickel all 12 of them. The onion rings were ice cold and far from crisp.So for$30.50 I got 12 small scallops and a small portion of limp onion rings. Thinking the camels back has been broken. This place was one of the best at one time but sadly no longer."

"Went to the movies Saturday decided to try somewhere new for dinner looked into this place , scan the menu days in advance and had our food picked our before even arriving .get the restaurant and not packed and was welcomed with open arms after ordering food didn't see waiter till drinks and food arrived after one refill the waiter never returned to table got one refill and nothing since ,but if u was the age range of 59 or older they are at ur table constantly asking others if they want dessert how are thing everythingOK, not once did the waiter come back or even asked there if everything was alright after we got our food there customer service went out the window ,food was really good would love to returnn but would get better service at McDonald's definitely not a restaurant for younger couples .usually I tip well but one drink refill and no service till I flagged down waitress for bill and to go box . "Received a roast beef sandwhich which was made wrong and tasted funny. Called to let them know and was told no it was sliced fresh this morning. Felt sick after eating not even half the sandwhich. Was not offered a replacement or refund. Even thoughthe driver was coming back with fries that evidently wasn't heard when I ordered. Called back next day to speak with owner andthe manager Josh is very rude and not accommodating. Wants to prove you wrong or put blame on the customer. Pizza was nastytoo. Food is not consistent quality. Owners are suddenly MIA. I will get my money back! ???? and I will never orderthere again. Being treated like that left a bad taste in my mouth never mind the food. "My boyfriend and I have ordered here twice. Both times have been phenomenal. I called and asked them to put extra sauce in both dishes and told them they could charge me extra for it, but they said it was no problem at all. Everything was so delicious. Highly recommend anything with Alfredo or vodka sauce! They even included complimentary garlic knots both times! Sometimes when you get garlic knots at other places, they’re over-cooked and bland, but these are super soft and flavorful. This place is definitely one of my favorite places to order from. So kind on the phone and you never get the sense they’re rushing you to get off the phone despite how busy they are. Very accommodating and professional, they definitely care about their customers. Will continue to order from here on a regular basis. :"

"Exceptional food in an authentic, non-demanding environment. Our waitress was very attentive and helpful, which added to the great experience. For bread lovers, there are 3 different breads, all of which are made there and are all wonderful. I stop on the way out of town to pick up bread and take it home to friends. My salad was fabulous and the vodka chicken pasta (a specialty) was cooked perfectly with a wonderful sauce. The specials change with the seasons. Desserts are all made there and everyone looked great. We share the ice cream on Sunday with homemade caramelized marshmallows and chocolate ganache. It was wonderful. You can share it with 4 people as it is very large. We will definitely have dinner here again when we return to Mayo and Golf."

"The service was good, but the food was disappointing. I ordered a 16-inch pizza and 10 wings for $38. The wings tasted like they were from Costco, both in appearance and flavor. The pizza was significantly undercooked, with cold toppings that didn’t even seem to have been heated. While the waitstaff were friendly, they were slow to check on our meal. We struggled to eat the soggy, undercooked pizza and ultimately couldn’t finish it. They offered to cook it longer, but that didn’t improve the situation since the dough had already absorbed all the grease and oils from the cheese. They seemed surprised when we opted not to take home over half of the pizza."
