"Wonderful food and atmosphere. As soon as you step inside, you'd have no idea you were in a strip mall. Simple but wonderful decore'. Open and airy, yet still intimate. I've been here a number of times but today I've decided to leave a review. My son and I are on a mission to visit every pizza restaurant in Santa Rosa. Last night Rosso's was due for our visit. We arrived at 5:30 and found the place mostly empty. We sat at the long bar where there was seating for probably 15. Soccer was on the TV, but upon request, the bartender switch to game 1 of the World Series (come on, I had to ask for that? The menu was a simple one-page piece of paper with food on one side, beverages on the other. I like this because some places give you a book where you have to flip through pages of menu items, and crumbs fall from it onto your table or lap. My son had a simple cheese pizza, and I ordered a small wedge salad and an appetizer of calamari. Wedge was delicious. Not the typical wedge but it's too difficult to explain. Check photos if you want to see it. Calamari was fresh and not chewy or over battered. My son prefers a pizza more in the style of Round Table, but I thought it was really good. A bit thinner than he's used to but more in the style you'd expect in Italy."
