"I give five stars for the cheeseburger—always amazing! However, the salads definitely need some improvement. I was surprised to find out that they don’t make their own ranch dressing, so I opted for the House Italian instead. Unfortunately, it was too vinegary and lacked flavor. It would also be great if they could add an option in the app to customize salad ingredients. I spent 30 minutes trying to pick out the diced onions, and I would have liked to add more tomatoes as well. I hope they start making their own ranch soon, so I can give the salad another shot. For now, I’ll be sticking to just burgers. A side of house ranch would be delicious with those chips, though!"

"I got the pulled pork, and my kid got the rodeo burger. We agreed they were not bad, but neither of us will be going back for another. My pulled pork burger had a bone in it.I pulled up the menu before arriving, and I was going to try the wagyu hot dogs, but they didn't have any. The bacon cheese ranch fries were ok. I'd like a bit more cheese.I was going to get Cole slaw w my pulled pork because, according to the online menu , it was standard, but the chef said it was not. Instead, I ended up with more fries than any human can possibly eat. Honestly, if you are getting bacon ranch cheese fries as your appetizer, you should have the option of a different side.$60+ for dinner for 2 (I did a 15% tip even though there were no refills on drinks, and there was a bone in my food). Plus, we had to pay for parking. Yesterday, we had Oliverios for $80, and they set the bar pretty high (alcoholic beverage and desserts plus pastas, bread, and salads for only $20 more)."

"Been eating here for years, but the last couple times its been really bad. The Philly was soggy mush you couldn 't hold, and liquid poured out on the table as I unwrapped it. The wings were soggy and tasted like they 'd been under a homeless man 's arm. The cookie was hard, tasteless floury dust with literally one chocolate chip. Ordered delivery tonight because I hurt myself and have trouble walking. The delivery guy called me and said he was downstairs at the door, he wasn 't, he was still in his car. The second time he was and I buzzed him in, but he dropped the food in the lobby downstairs. $4 delivery plus tip. Why call it delivery? Zero pride taken from top to bottom. I told my buddy I was getting Philly 's Best for national cheese steak day , should have gone with Steakuum. Won 't be ordering from them again."

"Super slow service, waited over an hour for fried pickles. Food was overpriced and plain. Menu has no descriptions. Response: Fried pickles could have been under an hour but it was close. I am interested how you found my ticket when the people I went with are the ones that ordered the pickles for the table. In response to the plain food, that was referring to the burgers. No lettuce, tomato, or traditional toppings included. I asked and was told a jalapeño jelly burger is only a burger with jelly on it. As far as overpriced, I wasn’t sure what to expect with my burger until it came out (skirt burger) as it was my first time there. I do believe it has the potential to be better with a few minor changes. I am just a patron however, and not a restaurant owner so perhaps I am wrong. I am simply judging by the restaurant experiences I’ve had throughout my life and trying to leave an honest review as I also use reviews in deciding where to dine."

"The Waukegan location on Greenbay and Sunset use to be great. The food was good, the staff was friendly and the establishment was clean. Now the staff in there is nothin but rude kids, food not as good as it use to be. And omg so dirty. Bathrooms are filthy the floors are sticky, the tables and chairs were dirty and sticky. What happened here. Where is the old staff from a few years ago. Extremely disappointed."

"CYOC has always been a great place to eat. Tonight, we went to the Waukegan location. There was no ice in the drink machine. No napkins and no paper towels in the bathroom. The sandwiches were great and the fries good. The drink machine had one spout not working (that's better than the N.C. one which has multiple broken ones or just out of stock). It's sad that the Fox Lake one closed and I fear that maybe this might be a sign of possible futures for the two remaining. I hope not because they make great food. Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 1"

"This is a little gem off the rIad that one can easily miss if not paying attention. Definitely worth stopping and eating at. "I gave him a better assessment than maybe. The food was mostly good. The chicken wings were the size of my pink finger. And the Mac and the cheese were simpler than a bottle of water. Apart from that, the young lady who runs the place I think her name is Melanie, very helpful and friendly. It's not in the most beautiful areas, and I never knew it was there. All in all, I give it 4 stars simply because I think there is potential and I am thrilled to try new things on the menu. Remember that you get what you pay for Oh, so if you go for value, that is what you will get. I recommend tasting the Philly-Käsesteak-Lasagna that was one of the different things I had and that was by far the best."

"I don't have cable, so I went there to see the last two games of the NLCS. They have two enormous screens at the ends, five good-sized screens over the bar, and three more on the other side. Nice menu, including vegetarian options (I'm not a drinker, so I can't comment on the beverage menu, except to say that the root beer float was delicious). On Tuesday the Democratic debate was also on, so the big screen at one end, plus the middle screen over the bar, were tuned to the debate and included text of what was being said. Service was friendly and attentive. Just one criticism: on Monday the fries were lukewarm, and on Tuesday the decaf was lukewarm. Both times I sent them back for warming or a fresh hot cup."
