"Food was really good. It was odd to order from the bar and then go get the food. The bar help was also the chef. Interesting idea and it seems to be working for them. We went on a Friday evening and was surprised the place wasn't more popular. We weren't sure where to park, so we parked directly behind the building in that lot and crossed our finger for no tickets and for our vehicle to actually be there instead of being towed away. I'm looking forward to going back!"

I ordered takeout over the phone and went to pick it up, but the doors were locked. I called twice, but no one answered.

The Crab Rangoons here are the best in town. The Old Bay Lump Crab Fries come with a generous serving of real lump crab. This place is fantastic!

Fantastic location! The owner is friendly, welcoming, and very knowledgeable about his craft. The portion sizes are generous, and every bite is bursting with flavor! I highly recommend this place, and we will definitely be back often!

The ranch on the fries was minimal. The burger wasn’t cooked as requested and seemed to have barbecue sauce on it. It wasn't bad, just not what I anticipated. I wouldn't order the bacon cheeseburger or the ranch bacon fries again, but I'm open to trying other items and giving this place a second chance.

The food was delicious, the service was fantastic, and the atmosphere was clean and welcoming. Benji’s has teamed up with Tootsie’s for the summer, so you can find them at Tootsie’s Sandwich Shop. We tried the crab rangoon, I had the jumbo lump crab with Old Bay fries, and my boyfriend had the buffalo ranch chicken wings. Can we just say yum, yum, yum! View menu

One of my favorite sandwiches in town is right here. The pulled Cajun chicken stacker never disappoints! Great sandwich, good price. A couple of the apps are little lacking, but overall, you won’t be disappointed here. The location is difficult to get to (where the old Rusted Musket was) but I hope this place sticks around and has better luck than others in that space have had.

The Morgantown Cheesesteak was delicious, although it could have used a bit more lettuce and some grilled onions. However, it had a fantastic flavor. The cheesecake slice and sweet tea were outstanding. The onion rings were slightly overcooked, but that can happen. The Chicken Tender Basket was flavorful and juicy. The ranch dressing was just okay, but the corn was really good. Overall, I would definitely order again!

"You’re stuck in Morgantown, Pennsylvania, a small town that’s mostly known for its universities and hospitals. Let’s be honest: it’s not exactly a culinary hotspot. As your stomach grumbles, you brace yourself for yet another meal that’s just meets the edible variety. But then, while aimlessly scrolling through Google, you stumble upon a place called Volcano Japanese Restaurant. Your initial thought? It’s probably as exciting as a sushi spot in West Virginia could be? Right? WRONG. Upon arrival, you step inside, and suddenly, it’s like you’ve been teleported to Legitsville, West Virginia. Population: you. The menu is a treasure map of sushi delights, authentic Japanese dishes, and intriguing drinks. Feeling adventurous, you order the Spider-Man 3 roll, fully expecting some cheesy, gimmicky sushi experience. Instead, what arrives is a giant masterpiece of crab meat, tempura shrimp, and other flavors so divine that you consider composing a haiku on the spot. Eager for more, you decide to leave some room for a second course and opt for the chicken teriyaki with rice. The portion is just right, and the flavors? Think blended, voluptuous, and savory. As you glance over at the next table, you spot diners receiving their order on what looks like a miniature carved bridge covered in sushi rolls. That’s when you realize you’ve discovered a true culinary gem, a hole-in-the-wall that’s actually a 5 out of 5 sushi palace. A spot you will be coming back to and raving to the homies about. The service? Top-notch. The waitress was so attentive, it was as if she could read your mind. The prices are shockingly reasonable for such high-quality food and an atmosphere that feels like a mini-vacation to Japan. So, if you’re currently lost in the void of Google searches, desperately seeking your next meal, stop everything. Make your way to Volcano Japanese Restaurant, and prepare for a dining experience that’s nothing short of explosive."
