"Fast Delivery service Chicken Fried Rice moist rice with eggs, green onions and generous portions of chicken. Salt n Pepper Pork Chops to greasy and mostly fat Egg Foo Yung One large patty with broccoli carrots bean sprouts and mushrooms. There was quite a bit of onion so I had to tell them light onion the second time. I noticed the second time around no mushrooms. You have to be exact when ordering. Salt n Pepper chicken wings Meh I could not understand why a garnish of carrots, bell peppers,onions, and celery. This makes no sense as the veggies turned the crisp chicken soggy. I'm giving three stars remove unnecessary garnish from wings and be consistent in food preparation. And please stop selling DEEP FRIED FAT AS SALT N PEPPER PORK CHOPS. Chow Mein lacked flavor."

"Four generations!. I had dinner with my parents at the Lotus Garden. I have taken my own kids there all of their lives. Now, I take my grandkids! The Lotus has been there all this time for a reason, the food is great! Egg rolls and barbecued pork are house made and delicious! Best sweet and sour pork and chicken you 've ever had. Not to mention, chow mein, lo mein, fried rice, moo goo gai pan, and Szechwan. Some things they have done the same way forever, the cracker and bun basket anyone? Many items on their American menu are not to be missed either. Best Manhattan 's ever! Best cocktail? I say Rum Cow, but fabulous tropical drinks reign supreme here! Don 't forget to say hey to Jimmy! He was the star of the show there in the 70s (still is ha! , when I was a little high school kid working in the 'coffee shop ', which is now the buffet next door. Hopefully the Lotus Garden will be serving great food for 50 more years! And, to the gentleman who has issues with the decor, the Chinese kitsch is part of it man!!!"

"Definitely stop here! These Fine people have been in this location. For many many years. The man up front said he had been there for 30 some years. My waitress. Miss May. Was very very nice and accommodating. Was very pleasant professional helpful and well spoken. With a very heavy Mandarin accent of course. Which only adds to the authenticity of the restaurant for me. She has been here for 17 years. I asked for some suggestions on what to have from some other patrons. That had been coming here for several years themselves. They told me. What I absolutely! Love to hear someone say. Everything! Is good here. They both said. So I went for the traditional. Yes! You guessed it. General Tso's. Pork fried rice hot and spicy soup with an egg roll. Dr Pepper to drink. Miss may. My waitress. Brought me some Wasabi sauce that she makes special. Along with some other pineapple tasting sauce that is made in house also. Delicious! Will definitely. Definitely! Be returning soon. Really love the decor. The tables are very elegant and classy.. the pictures do not do this place Justice. Bathrooms were very nice and clean. But the people definitely were amazing. You will not regret stopping here for sure. I will say a prayer for each and everyone of you. I hope your travel is safe. God bless you and yours. "The decor reflects traditional Asian elements, presented with style—not cluttered with outdated calendars like some other places I've encountered. Now, let's talk about the service. To be fair, we did take quite a while to decide on our meals, but our server was very kind and patient. The menu is incredible, featuring several pages of options. Although it's not my personal favorite, they do offer sushi and other raw dishes as well. When our meals arrived, we were amazed at the presentation—the plates were a generous 15x15 inches and filled to the brim with an ample amount of food. Everything was hot, fresh, and of high quality. This is truly the best all-around Chinese food I’ve enjoyed in the last 10 years. The average dinner price is $17.99, which is quite reasonable. Do yourself a favor and experience what authentic Chinese cuisine is really meant to be!"

"I didn't rate the atmosphere because it is a pickup place, not a dine in. They closed off the dine in area. But the Food..WOW so GOOD! The fried rice is so lightly fried and fluffy. I place the following me myself and my next door neighbor to share. . I ordered the pork fried rice XL. Yum! It was TOO big I should have gotten the regular large size..lol next time. Fried rice with fresh white pork meat not that pinkish to reddish pieces of pork! (yeah I am from New York so this was like the truth being revealed to me on how Asian cuisine is supposed to look and taste like lol also ordered vegetable lo mien and garlic chicken (which comes with veggies like broccoli carrots snow peas. this place is Affordable compared to others. You get a lot of food compared to other spots here in Edgewater I will be a regular from now on. not even thinking about trying another Asian food cuisine at this moment..this immediately became a favorite! A top three on what to treat myself to eat on a Friday night/ weekend.. lol ; Order from there You will not be disappointed. Vegetarian options: This is not about the veggies but about how much I spent per person. The amount of food I bought for two people actually fed 4 to 6 people. Four meant that the meal was split in half everything that was 3 dinner serving each. So about 6 dinner servings cost breakdown would be 8.00 per serving. so 1 10 was my choice on per person cost."

"This is a fantastic little Chinese restaurant. The sesame chicken is my favorite and Golden Buddha does it perfectly. The chicken is always crispy and fresh, with a delicious sauce that is perfectly seasoned. The crab rangoon is also fantastic, as well as the Poo Poo platter and pretty much everything else on the menu. The food is always delicious and the staff is always friendly. It may not be the cheapest option, but they do have great lunch specials. This is a wonderful place to enjoy a meal with family, friends, or even by yourself."

"We often bring around 15 to 20 students from our quarterly training classes to this restaurant for lunch. Although large groups can be a bit challenging for them, they always manage to deliver excellent service. We really enjoy the food, and the prices are reasonable. "The people are really nice, and it's conveniently located and pleasant. But when I went, some of our dishes were dirty and had to be replaced. The food was terrible. I had beef chow mein. The meat tasted weird, off. I literally spit it into my napkin. The egg roll filling was unidentifiable mush. The pork in the sweet and sour pork tasted gamy. Sorry, I wish I could recommend it, because the service was good and the people were nice, but the food was terrible. I returned my entire plate of food and asked that it be removed from our bill. They were very obliging."

"For lunch I ordered an egg roll, some beef lo my and rice. I'm very impressed! The vegetables were crispy, the beef was juicy, and there was plenty of sauce in the lo mine to cover my noodles, vegetables and beef, and still some to use for my rice. I even reheated my leftovers for dinner and it's still amazing! The prices are very fair for the portion sizes, and I will definitely make this place a regular lunch center of mine."

"This is a good place to get quick oriental type food. The sesame chicken is good, the rice is average. Pretty good egg rolls. A soup comes with the combos, but we’ve tried every kind and those are not very good. Since it’s an extra I don’t count off much for that. Also it’s really easy to order through Google Maps. Then you just go pick it up."

"At first, we were surprised to find out that it was take-out only, as the first impression on Sunday night was not great. We placed our order over the phone and arrived an hour before closing to find the inside of the restaurant quite dark with the dining area blocked off. Despite this, we decided to try the Spicy Basil Trio and a Mystery Roll. The food was surprisingly good, with the Basil Trio living up to its spicy reputation and the sushi roll being delicious. "Our family enjoyed the outdoor seating and the servers did a fabulous job moving other tables inside quickly when rain hit out of the blue. We were under an umbrella and a large tree and didn't have to move and the rain ended quickly. Our teenage children haven't been to many nice restaurants and they loved the creative appetizers, especially the homemade croutons on the ceasar salad, delicious! We all had very good meals and were too full for dessert which is unfortunate because I have had the chocolate bread pudding with Baileys before and it is divine! There are so many tasty options and we enjoyed the scallops as well as the duck, key lime chicken and the flank. You can't go wrong!"
