"The staff was phenomenal, super kind and helpful. They brought out our kids plates first without being asked which I greatly appreciated. My husband had the bandeja paisa and I had the ajiaco, both were delicious and filling without being overly heavy. I unfortunately don't have any pictures of our plates because they were too good to wait and take a photo. My only complaint was that the live music was a bit too loud and made having conversation difficult, but that's just a personal preference. Next time we just won't go on a Friday night or we will get the food to go. We will 1000% be coming back though"

"Have eaten in this place for many years and it takes me time and again to remember that I have from Colombia. The food is good, I ordered ALWAYS the bandeja Paisa (small version), this time I was decided to order something else. Ordnete the Picada [without the Morcilla (Blutwurst) and asked her to cook so that the Yuca was crispy and the Chorizo and Chicharon was also crispy. WOW it was a huge plate to share enough; asked for a box for what I was unable to finish. Danielle our waiter was amaizing; wherever we needed something that required our needs. The only thing I would change is the TV screens, if I wanted to eat in front of a TV, I would do that at home. Maybe you bring the TV screens during the World Cup and other BIG games / sports events, that would be my suggestion. Also, would like to have Uva (grape) postobon. will continue to visit this facility"

"I love the ambiance inside. You would never know from the outside how welcoming and inviting the inside is...it feels like you have been transported to a mini vacay in someplace tropical and warm. The service is very good and everyone works quickly and efficiently. I had a limeade with my lunch special and it all really hit the spot. The lunch special is not on the menu...but it is good home cooked food and incredibly reasonable. The chicken soup it started with was the best thing I ate by far...next time I want an even bigger giant bowl of that please....soooooo good with the cilantro!!! The ribs and rice and beans were good but nothing to blow you away like the soup. I would like to go back and try a larger and more creative entree. Something a little more complicated and or substantial with more seasoning...if they nail that I will change my rating to 5 stars. Nice touch at the end with the mints that came with the check as well."

"I'm really glad I discovered this spot in LB, especially after feeling disappointed when El Bambuco closed down. I've visited twice so far. During my first visit, I tried the Bandeja Paisa, which was excellent. On my second visit, I ordered a patacón, which is a flat fried plantain topped with various ingredients. I requested beef, but they accidentally gave me chicken instead. They offered to fix it, but I was short on time, so I went ahead and ate it. Along with the patacón, I had a sweet corn arepa topped with cheese, and it was fantastic. As for parking, there's a lot behind the restaurant next to the laundromat, and if that's full, there's plenty of street parking available. The area does seem a bit sketchy, so make sure to lock your car and not leave any valuables inside."

"A family owned business, operated with love and care this place is great for a quick bite or a great meal with the family. Our drinks were strong and delicious, we got the old-fashioned and also a Caipirinha! So delicious. We then started with the sautéed chorizo, and the choripapa, both great apps. For dinner we had the arros con pollo, just like how my grandma used to make! And the skirt steak sautéed. Also there is a lounge connected in the back called THE ANNEX. Definitely worth checking out. if you are looking for a fun and chill vibe, either for a night out or after dinner there are some amazing cocktails and tapas located right in the back! I got to try almost all the drinks and my favorite was the black crocodile oh my god so delicious not to mention the glass was fire! For tapas I had the pasta, the pork barrel buns, and the polenta with the Ropa Vieja on top this was my favorite I actually ate the entire thing! All the drinks were incredible the OG is also amazing! Check out the amazing food and atmosphere !"

"I recently visited El Montanerno Bakery, a Colombian spot that truly impressed me. The photo below shows the inviting exterior, and stepping inside, I was greeted with a tempting array of delicious treats. I couldn’t resist trying several items: merengue, sugar and cinnamon cookies, a slice of caramel and chocolate mousse cake, some large flaky pastries (though I’m not sure of the names), and a refreshing passion fruit juice. Everything was delightful, with the sugar cookies being my favorite—they reminded me of soft, buttery biscuits. The flaky pastry was my least favorite, but still good. The whole order came to about $18, which I thought was very reasonable. I highly recommend El Montanerno Bakery for anyone seeking an authentic and enjoyable Colombian culinary experience."

"We called in a take out order yesterday at 6:05 and was told your food will be ready at 6:30. My Wife gets there at 6:45. Every 10 minutes she’s told by the staff that “they’re making it now and it will be out in a few minutes”. Long story short, the food wasn’t ready until 7:45. Am I supposed to believe that this restaurant didn’t know that it couldn’t meet a 25 minute deadline when it took this order? And on Father’s Day no less? I’m quite sure they knew, they just decided to selfishly fatten their pockets and ruin our family’s dinner rather than be honest, upfront and forthright. Perhaps even worse, is that the food was horribly over salted and inedible. They didn’t even have the decency to throw in a churro or an app as consolation for stealing more than an hour of my spouse’s time (not that I would have been able to swallow it). In my opinion, this place should be avoided like the plague."

"I ordered through DoorDash, but when I arrived to pick up my food, it wasn't showing up in their system. I tried using the app, but the restaurant manager refused to prepare my meal and insisted there was no order. Overall, it was a terrible experience. "ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!! Carla or whatever her name is. She’s the worst one out of all. I love their food, it’s amazing but definitely not worth going if you’re going to get treated horribly. Not worth spending my hard working money for that customer service! This lady never checks up on me. And when I asked her for the check the tip was automatically included. I myself am a server and will never treat a customer the way she did to me! I kindly asked her to remove the tip because it was not the expectation exceeded and she started screaming at me JUST BECAUSE OF A TIP! When it’s not obligated and you have to earn your tips as a server! She even threatened me that I can never go back there just because I didn’t want to tip! It was absolutely horrible and it’s not the first time I’ve had horrible customer service at that place. That place needs whole new staff!! Honestly I deserve an apology and a full refund because that should never be the way to treat a customer absolutely disgusting!!"

"The restaurant's atmosphere was quite somber, and there was a musty odor that made it feel unwelcoming. Unfortunately, this really took away from our appetite. The only thing we genuinely enjoyed was the juice. We ordered empanadas, but they were bland, and the beans in the bandeja paisa were equally underwhelming. I'm giving it 3 stars primarily because of the woman who was working there; she was very polite and welcoming."

"Absolutely amazing experience. My husband and I went here for date night. Was easy to get a same day reservation which was nice. He got a draft beer and I had the jalapeño paloma (delightful! . Cocktails were priced slightly high for the size but it’s what I would expect from a nicer restaurant. We ordered the Argentine Parrillada for two and it was PHENOMENAL. It was a great price for appetizer, side, and entree! Plus a great way to try multiple meats. The NY strip and Argentine farmhouse sausage were perfectly cooked and delicious. The service was friendly, food came out quick, and we left incredibly full! Will definitely be back again!"

"Came to check out this tiny little spot that did not disappoint. We are fans of Colombian cuisine and super critical since it is native to my adoptive parents. The food was delicious, shout out to the salad, it was very impressive!The meats were perfectly cooked and overall we were satisfied.Sidenote: The menus in house do not have prices, which I found a little odd. All line items default to MP Market Price, but they weren't serving seafood. I'm not familiar with every item on a menu being market price. ? And after the bill came I was a bit shocked that the food was so expensive."
