"La Catrina Restaurant My wife and I ordered two chicken taco salads. The taco salad?s came drenched in water. Was told that was the cheese [water] sauce by the owner. The owner claimed all taco salads come with cheese [water] sauce. It turned into adebate with me stating all the taco salads I ordered in other restaurants came with shredded cheese and the owner claiming alltaco salads come with cheese [water] sauce. The owner then asked who?s right? The people in the dining room or the people in thekitchen that make the dishes? Implying the taco salads are made drenched in cheese [water] sauce. We never got to the partabout no chicken. Look at the picture, see all the water ran to one side. The owner called that cheese sauce and claimed alltaco salads are made with cheese sauce. Aside from La Catrina?s taco salad being drenched in water, Google taco salad recipesand all the recipes use shredded cheese. The service was also lacking. My wife and I were late to a party of 8. We ordered oursodas and they never came. My wife had to get up and ask for chips and salsa. They took our order, then came back and asked ifwe were ready to order. The food came and I asked for my drinks and the others asked for refills. Then one person in the groupordered desert. Their bill came but no desert. (The desert was not on the bill) We waited for desert and to be re billed. Letthe debate continue, when you ordered a taco salad anywhere is it shredded cheese or cheese sauce."

"Absolutely amazing. I had two tacos chorizo, chicken) and a chicken and rice plate. Their rice is wonderfully flavorful only missing small bits of potatoes in my opinion). My wife had their crazy fries. The crazy fries came with steak cut into mini cubes that were perfect for the res of the food. The cheese was plentiful but balanced. And of course the fries were fresh. I've never liked crazy fries, but these were delicious. Soda is only available in cans $0.99 each at the time of writing), but I personally prefer to drink craft soda when I eat something special had a sour cherry soda that was excellent with this). The service deserves it's own place in this review. As good as the food was, the service surpassed it. Staff were friendly open to questions and knowledge able of the menu. Even as a first-timer eat comfortable taking my time and asking questions about the food. They have a decent selection of meats various chicken, beef and pork) for their various menu items making the seemingly limited menu much larger than you might expect. The cheese dip is some of the better cheese dip I've had. Not quite like Avocados' but just as good if different. The outdoor seating currently available is heated and tented so it's not uncomfortable, but it did seem like most wanted theirs to go. All in all, I'll be back with my library card discount) on Tuesday free cheese dip) for some seriously good food."
