"Met two family members for a casual lunch. Hadn 't seen them in awhile. Had a lovely time at R. J. Grunts. We all ordered burgers and loved them. Arrived about 45 minutes early. No problem. Got a booth in the window so we could enjoy seeing Lincoln Park across the street. Great waitress Sam. Grunts is small and can be very busy. This time it wasn 't. Crowd built slowly as lunch hour passed noon. Great time to go. Great service and great burgers!"

"Ordered for delivery and what arrived was atrocious!!!! The fried green tomato was doughy and not fried properly. NO UTENSILS OR NAPKINS!!!! Forgot mayo and bacon on the burgers. The one slice of tomato was shriveled and very tiny. NO SAUCES for the fried green tomatoes again they forgot that also!!!! Not sure they will stay In business very long so if you are going to bombshells and burgers on 5th street in Huntington, against my advice , make it quick because this was the worst service I have ever paid for!!!!!!!! I usually never take time for anything like this or review anyone but C'Mon Guys!!!!!!!! The owner should fire the whole staff and start over in my opinion!!!!!!!"

"My wife and stopped in to give this place a try. As restaurant owners ourselves we understand the hard work that it takes to keep a place open in these trying times. We were well greeted at the door and waited on in a timely manner. We both ordered hoagies, Saratoga chips and meatballs. Our waitress saved my life because I was ordering a whole hoagie, I did not know it was 2 feet long. The ambience was quaint and very Italian. All of the food was spot on, no shortcuts. This is the kind of place that you go out of your way to tell your friends about. Great job!"

"UPDATE 6/4/21 Returned for our anniversary and they had some new menu items we were excited to try! Unfortunately the vegan wings were $17 and I couldn’t justify spending that, but the new Buffalo chicken sandwich was good (although not as creative as the original) and I couldn’t believe how good the chicken salad was! The chicken was so realistic that I don’t think meat eaters would think anything of it, and I never say that. Cheesecake was on point too! It was an incredible experience to have a hard time choosing what to eat for once! Six years vegan and this place had one of the more extensive and creative vegan menus I have experienced. We had the pickle fries, domestic burger and Buffalo chicken sandwich (they were out of the chicken salad). The onion rings and ranch were also great! The Buffalo chicken sandwich is a po-boy, huge and soooo creative and delicious Updated from previous review on 2021-04-19"

"Our waiter was nice, though I can't recall his name. When we were seated, the hostess placed a group of regulars behind us, and the waiter immediately recognized them. Before we could even place our drink orders, their drinks and chips with salsa were already on the table since he knew exactly what they wanted. Good for them. I ordered my daughter her usual cheese pizza and fries, while I got the burger with fries and a triple portion of chips and dip. After waiting for a bit, our food arrived simultaneously with the appetizer. The waiter apologized and gave a well-timed excuse about a delay with the white queso. Now, about that burger. I should've checked it carefully before digging in, especially since I've had issues with food here before, including finding a hair in my meal last time. I watched my daughter eat her pizza, which looked a bit doughy, but she didn't seem to mind. On the first bite of my burger, I wasn't paying much attention, but by the second bite, I realized something was wrong. Sure enough, it was completely raw in the middle (see attached picture). A few minutes later, the waiter returned to ask how everything was, and I showed him the burger. His priceless expression and reaction of "holy cow" were quite the sight—definitely no pun intended. I told him I would just take my daughter’s food and pay for the chips and salsa. He offered to take care of the burger, saying "let me decide this for you," and I agreed as long as I could get everything to go. Then, the overly cheerful manager arrived with a rehearsed apology and an offer to make things right. About five minutes later, the waiter came back and awkwardly mentioned the manager's name. He stumbled through an explanation about how she charged me for the burger, claiming he didn't want to involve her because he knew she would do that. Lesson learned, folks."

"Updated review: 04/01/2022: One of the great things about Shari's is, you can have breakfast for dinner. I had the $15 country fried steak and eggs, $1 for loaded hash browns. It comes with french toast or pancakes. The food tasted fine. Service was slow as usual. I noticed they raised the price of the Fri-Sat prime rib by $2. It no longer comes with a soup or salad, instead replaced by a dinner roll. Updated 02/14/2022: Pro tip: At Shari's, you can add an extra beef patty for $3. I believe they are 8oz patties. That is not necessary because I was really full from their single patty burger. My hangover burger $13 was awesome. This is probably one of the best burgers in San Bruno. It came with bacon, crispy hash browns, egg, lettuce, red onions, tomato. I added Swiss cheese $1 and guacamole $1. Service is usually slow here. But still, this was a very good meal. Updated 02/11/2022: Good times as always at Shari's. We had the 3x 10 oz prime ribs $21 each (Fri-Sun only), cinnamon roll french toast $11 and prime rib dip $13. We didn't order it though, but they have a Valentine's weekend $30 meal for two that comes with pie. At dinner time, the restaurant was full with a short line. I'm thinking it was because of the slow kitchen. Our food took about half an hour to come out. Service was as expected for a full house. Updated 10/20/2021: Heads up, free slice of pie on Wednesdays 4pm-10pm. Service was a little slow. We didn't see our waiter until 15 minutes after we've been seated. The steaks were good though. I was surprised about the free slice of pie on Wednesday 4pm-10pm. We ended up taking it to go because we were so full. Original review: Shari's was not crowded at all at 6:30pm. We had the prime rib (available only after 4pm on Friday and the weekend) and a T-bone steak eggs. They ran out of the regular steaks. Right after we ordered our prime ribs, it was no longer available as the party behind us tried to order it after seeing our meals. The 10oz prime rib meals come with either a salad or soup and two sides. We picked the baked potato (fully loaded), broccoli, fries (fully loaded) and spinach. It was a lot of food. The prime rib was not bad. It was slow cooked with an herb edge. The T-bone steak was great. Service was excellent and we tipped her 30 ."

"--- I recently visited the restaurant and wanted to share my honest experience. I ordered the dish with speck, but unfortunately, I hardly received any speck on my potatoes. The egg was seriously undercooked, and I really wish they had clarified how I’d like it prepared or mentioned that it would be so raw. The egg was so runny that it mixed with the cheese and sauce, creating a mushy consistency that overwhelmed any distinct flavors. I appreciate the effort to present it nicely, but it left me feeling frustrated. I ended up throwing it away, and the smell lingered on me for the rest of the day. I don't think I will be returning, nor would I recommend this dish. As someone with a hearty appetite, this was quite disappointing. --- Let me know if you need any further adjustments!"

"What a rough night for Elevate! We went at 5:45 pm as we have young kids who eat earlier. They have a kids menu....but not printed or online...just by memory. This took a few rounds of the waitress going to ask before we got the full list and price. After all that, we didn't see her again for 15 minutes. When we finally ordered, I was told that the chicken berry salad had only blueberries tonight, as they were out of all other berries. When my wife and kid's food came, they chose that as the moment to tell me that they actually had no berries at all...once the rest of the food was already on the table. What they forgot to mention was that the Avocado Shrimp salad came with no avocado! They comped the chicken salad, as we never got it, but charged full price $16) for an avocado-less Avocado Shrimp salad! I just have no desire to eat at a restaurant where all the fresh food is gone before the dinner rush! Poor showing! Thank you to the manager who tried to make it right...but you forgot to tell us about the avocado and that was 50% of the bad news you were supposed to deliver!"

"Visiting from out if state for work. This place was suggested by locals at the job site so I knew to expect a dive. This place did not disappoint there, but you can still be clean. My server was not very friendly and the woman that brought my food wasn't any better. When I asked if she had any other hot sauce besides the Tabasco she sat down she very nastily said that was it. I travel a lot for my job and have eaten at a lot of places, this food was awful. The eggs came out cold, the cottage bacon was over cooked and dry, the toast had so much butter that it was dripping when you picked up the toast. This was just typical diner food and there was nothing special about it. When I return to Bismarck I will not be returning here. There has to be better places in this town."

"This restaurant is popular as a local hangout with vegan and vegetarian options, which is a big plus in a town that lacks vegan dining places. The atmosphere is like a neighborhood bar trying to cater to a college crowd, with some old-fashioned tables for seating. We ordered a vegan pizza and a couple of vegan sandwiches made with fake meat, and enjoyed the meal once it arrived. The food was decent but not exceptional, more like standard pub fare. The service was fine, nothing special. We were aware of the extra charge for vegan items, but were surprised by the high upcharges of $3.99 per sandwich and $6.99 for the pizza. The prices were already high, and adding on these extra costs felt excessive. Paying $13 for a sandwich and fries or $26 for a pizza felt unreasonable, especially when there are better dining options nearby that offer better value for your money."

"I attend 30 Main for the 1st time last night, as a treat for my birthday. From the moment my party walked in, it was a pleasant experience. We waited about 2 minutes, before a lovely little lady greeted us with a warm smile welcomed us to the restaurant. She gave us the option to have a intimate dinner inside, or enjoy our dinner in the back where they have a Live band seating. She let us know that she's the Mother of the owners, so we were in good hands. She actually took us on a mini walk around the corner of the 30 Main, and it looked beautiful. They had a good crowd for a Friday night. Lovely atmosphere, Tables lighting looked so pretty. My party I decided to have dinner inside. Mom took us back inside the restaurant, and Wished me a Happy Birthday. She let me pick the seating for my party made sure we were taking care of.. Thanks Mom Now The Food.... My Experience 5 Stars Our waitress Mary Ann, so sweet patient. She Knew the menu from top to bottom, and had some good recommendations. For Starters, I was giving a nice plate of Hummus with a unique bread that was toasted just right. I had hummus one time in my life swore I would never eat it again. However last night, the Hummus I received was absolutely DELICIOUS !!!! Did I mention it was on the house, as a sweet gesture for my birthday. I then had a Classic Caesar Salad, fresh Lettuce with the right amount of Parmesan cheese, Croutons dressing. For my main entree I chose the Crab Linguine. It consist of Linguine, corn, grape tomatoes, Crab meat, with a touch of Parmesan cheese. It packed a lot of flavor, the Crab meat, tomatoes, corn blend together very well. Good Portion Tasty !!! After an amazing dinner, I was giving a nice slice of Chocolate Peanut butter Pie with a Lit Candle for my birthday, compliments of 30 Main. 30 Main, you guys are awesome. Thank you for providing me with a great Birthday experience at your establishment I Shall be back soon.. God Bless"

"I recently had the pleasure of working with Countryside BBQ for an event at our manufacturing plant, and I can't recommend them highly enough! From start to finish, their service was exceptional. The team arrived promptly, set up the food, and served all our employees with efficiency and a warm, friendly attitude. They even went above and beyond by returning from 9:00 PM to 10:00 PM to accommodate our second shift workers. Their speed, kindness, and thorough cleanup left a lasting impression. Jennifer, our main contact, was particularly wonderful—she made the entire process smooth and enjoyable. The food itself was fantastic. Our menu featured Pulled Chicken BBQ, Pulled Pork, Baked Beans, White Slaw, and Banana Pudding. Everything was delicious and had a comforting, home-cooked feel. The service also included rolls, paperware, and both sweet and unsweet tea, adding to the overall experience. Countryside BBQ truly exceeded our expectations, and we look forward to being repeat customers. If you're considering catering services, don't hesitate to choose Countryside BBQ!"

"Cozy, cute, great service, laid back atmosphere, awesome! I hadn?t been to The Mill at Puppy Creek. I didn?t see puppies but it is on the creek and it was cute to see the water moving them rough the wall of windows. There was an upstairs and a bar.Everyone seemed like they were at home. It just felt comfortable and good. There was some tables outside and a group was therehaving drinks. It really felt like everyone knew each other and the employees were so nice it was like they were going to add usinto the family. We had the fried green tomatoes for an appetizer and the quesadilla for dinner. The food was priced less than Iexpected. We didn?t get dessert but I will return just because it?s nice to go out and not feel shuffled to a table with musicso loud you can?t think. We will return!"

"What a disappointment! This used to be the best and only "fast food" option in the city. We were excited for our meal, but when we returned to our hotel, we found overcooked, burnt burgers with too much mayo, and chicken strips that were supposed to be crispy but were instead dry from being left under a heat lamp too long. The tea was good, and the bag of potato chips and peanut butter crackers we had for dinner complemented it well. We spent $39.23 on our meal, and frankly, everything could use some improvement."

"Reserved a table for two for outdoor seating and upon arrival the hostess didn't know anything about the reservation. The door going in/out to the patio was sticking shut and people trying to leave thought it was locked because you had to almost throw your back out to open it. The door also squeaked very loudly each time it was opened and it was a very annoying high pitched squeak. I ordered an IPA and my wife ordered a Blue Moon and the server gave her mine with the orange and gave me the Blue Moon without an orange. One sip and it was obvious they were mixed up and they weren't even close to being the same color. I ordered a sandwich with tater tots and after about 10 minutes it was delivered to the neighboring table who had no clue what it was. It took close to 30 minutes to get the Black Forrest Club with tots and my wife's salad when there were maybe 30 guests at 10 tables in the entire place. The salad didn't have chicken or any other protein that needed to be cooked. Another table behind us got the wrong food. The server walked by 3 or 4 times while I had an empty beer before I had to flag her down. My 2nd beer, I ordered a different beer, but still a tall one. When it arrived it was a short. At the same time, the table that earlier got my food order incorrectly, got a tall beer which no one there ordered. Probably mine again. When I mentioned it, the server said I got the correct beer, but she rang it in wrong. The sandwich was good. The tots were average and the salad was average. Another table out on the patio got the wrong bill and had to question it. Just before we left a smoker showed up and lit one up on the patio as soon as he sat down. All in all the worst dining experience I've probably ever had. We know of at least 4 tables where they got something wrong. The only thing good to say is that she said she would deduct my 2nd beer from the tab. She ended up deducting the tall Blue Moon, which was another mistake, but at least it was favorable for us."
