"It was our first time here, and it did not disappoint! We left the food choices up to our server, as we wanted to try some things outside our comfort zone and did we ever! The wine and drink recommendations were spot on and SO good. We had a few different things, of which I just forgot to snap pictures of. We did a semi tapas tasting that included the croquetas de jamón so so good; baked cana de cabrá good(I’m not a huge fan of ‘sweet’ cheeses so it wasn’t my favorite but still tasty); setas flavor was amaaazing! And the lollipop lamb chops I unfortunately got an overwhelmingly fatty cut so wasn’t able to enjoy Overall a great experience, and we’ll definitely go back"

"Amazing place, my go to breakfast place on cal ave. Service is amazing, owners are wholesome and very helpful, suggesting menu options. The food portion was big, fresh veggies, perfectly cooked chicken breast (and a lot of it), toasted bread. So solid. And good coffee, and nice environment, good decor. Can see myself coming here every other weekend!"

"The restaurant wasn't as crowded as we anticipated, and the noise level on Thursday night was quite reasonable. I tried the hangar steak, which was tender and flavorful. However, I wasn't asked how I’d like it cooked, so it arrived medium rare and was a bit too rare for my taste at the center. My friends ordered the hunch and thought it could have been cooked a bit longer, as they found it challenging to get all the meat off the bones. On a positive note, the sides were fantastic— the wild mushrooms, Brussels sprouts, and beet salad were all excellent. We found the prices to be quite high, especially since three small French rolls cost $4, which seemed excessive. After reading about the noise levels on weekends, we're unsure if we want to return."

"I believe I've had a torta from this business before but in a different location. When I had it back then, I really enjoyed the torta milanesa. It was a big torta and had queso mexicano, avacado, a good portion of the milanesa meat among some other ingredients. That was like a 4 star torta. Very good. This time at the Mexico Bakery next to the 101 exit over the bridge, it was not as great. The meat was a little burnt and the flavors were not as savory. I did enjoy the food but it was closer to a 3-3.5 star quality. However my overall experience has been good at this business and I've had good tortas here. I ate my torta with a Mexican coke and that was delicious. I hope to return and try other menu items that may change my impression of the food quality. I ended up paying around 25 dollars just for my meal and drink so it was a little expensive. It's sort of standard pricing for a meal in the Bay area though.
