We stumbled on this little gem and so glad we did! The overall feeling is of warmth and welcome. Our server could not have been nicer and the food was delish.

Highly recommended! I had the wild boar bourguignon, and it was unbelievably tender. The waitstaff were extremely friendly and provided great recommendations for the menu. I will definitely be back!

I had the wild boar bourguignon HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! Fork tender! The wait staff was super friendly and very knowledgeable about what they would recommend. For sure will be going back! A small restaurant, big on taste!

Stumbled in to this hidden gem while waiting to pick my partner up at St. Cate's. Lovely cocktail menu, the food smelled insanely good! We only stayed for a few drinks but it's on our list of great spots, especially on a cold day.

Hard to find--look for the Pabst Blue Ribbon sign with the word Brigade beneath it. Unpretentious but excellent food good wine and beer list, really friendly but not overbearing service. Service was knowledgeable and relaxed, and our meal was paced perfectly! Everything we ordered was amazing from the beautiful warm rolls through trying all three desserts. Bonus points for the asparagus with romesco sauce, because we all wanted to lick that plate clean. Excellent, fun cocktails and a lovely, focused wine list. Just go already!!

Nice atmosphere, cosy, friendly wait staff. Food was nothing special. Wild boar was very good. The pastry on the vegetable pot pie, was dry and tough. Cocktails were nice. My husband and I shared the oysters and cheese plate. The cheeses were nice but nothing out of the ordinary. The oysters were awful. They tasted like freezer burn and sorry to say made us sick for two days. They don't have a phone so we emailed them, they asked what the oysters tasted like and we never heard another word from them. Won't be going back.

The restaurant wasn't as crowded as we anticipated, and the noise level on Thursday night was quite reasonable. I tried the hangar steak, which was tender and flavorful. However, I wasn't asked how I’d like it cooked, so it arrived medium rare and was a bit too rare for my taste at the center. My friends ordered the hunch and thought it could have been cooked a bit longer, as they found it challenging to get all the meat off the bones. On a positive note, the sides were fantastic— the wild mushrooms, Brussels sprouts, and beet salad were all excellent.
