"Placed a delivery for a Saturday night at 8:18 pm, confirmation email stated it would arrive around 9:33 pm. By 10:30, I had checked my porch several times and nothing, so I called the store to check my order. They said it had already been delivered, but I kept telling them I didn’t receive it. They offered to remake the order, but I would have to pick it up. I asked if they would refund my $5 delivery fee since I am now having to pick it up myself, and the lady on the phone disregarded the question and said I could pick it up. As I’m leaving my apartment, I see my pizza order on my downstair’s neighbor porch. They were gone for the weekend, so obviously weren’t home to see it there. It had probably already sat there for an hour and a half by the time I saw it, with bugs and a snail trail across the box. I drive down to the store, it is now 11 pm. The lady at the register counting money began questioning me and making me uncomfortable, as if I was lying about not getting the pizza. She would question me, then just stare at me in silence. She didn’t take her eyes off me the whole time I was in there and it was very awkward. Probably sure I’m never going to get my delivery fee back, or the tip to the driver that made the delivery to the wrong address. I have never had this issue before at my current residence. Never make the mistake of “no contact delivery”. I only chose that option because i was in pajamas getting my hair done and didn’t want to talk to anyone looking like that lol. They will just leave your pizza on the ground without verifying the correct address, and act like you’re lying when you try to get your dinner 3 hours later."
