"I grew up in Jackson Heights in the late '70s and '80s and Jahn 's was the go-to place for hanging out and dates when I was a kid. Many Friday and Saturday nights back then usually meant a movie at the Jackson or Colony theater and then off to Jahn 's afterwards! I have to be honest, just knowing that Jahn 's is still around brings tears to my eyes. I have so many fond memories of this place and going there with friends and my special girlfriend. This place is a treasure and I am certain that they have given other young people the same kind of memories that I got. It just fills my heart to know that they are still around.Kid-friendliness: Jahn 's just loves kids!Dietary restrictions: Today, I have many dietary restrictions. I am no longer a young man, but I can still enjoy a few of Jahn 's treats."

"First time at mikes royal, without the royal experience. Ordered 3 eggs over easy with home fries without onions and peppers, and whole wheat toast. Was told they don’t make the home fries to order, it’s already made for the day with the onions and peppers. I said forget the home fries , I’ll take the mini hash browns. When the food arrived, I got two eggs over easy with 7 mini hash browns, and white toast. Asked the waitress about the other egg, at which she said no problem, and went to go put the order in for the other egg. When the other egg comes out, I asked if I can get whole wheat toast, at which she said, anything else? With some attitude like I was asking for too much. No, just what I ordered, I said. The eggs were the least tasty (no flavor) out of all the diners in bay ridge. Emphasis, which is terrible has better eggs than these guys.Definitely not the best first time, definitely not going back. Two places much better than this is bay ridge diner and fort Hamilton diner on 95 and 4. Fort Hamilton diner makes your food to order. No premade stuff for all."

"DONT COME HERE IF YOUR NOT WHITE. The owners are extremely racist and they will make sure you feel uncomfortable as soon as u walk in; you just feel their eyes already judging you as u walk into the restaurant it’s the two overweight Italians specially the lady. I am a regular at this place I go there so much that the servers already know my order. The servers are very nice and friendly. I always tip them accordingly, I never have left without tipping except for today because our waitress left early so her coworker took the table and just gave us the check so of course like I’m sure any other person you wanna tip the person who actually served you but unfortunately she left for w.e reason so when we went up to pay we hit no tip on the machine and automatically the racist owner started giving us a talk about how she doesn’t know if we’ve ever went to a restaurant but it’s not the same as fast food and we have to tip.which is absolutely absurd and a crazy way to treat you guests, when you first of all don’t even know if we left cash on the table (which we sometimes do. My boyfriend actually knows the waitress we had today because it’s his cousin and was going to send her her tip through cash app to make sure she was the one who got the tip since she was the one who served us. Which I didn’t think I would need to give an explanation to anyone. Especially knowing that tipping isn’t even mandatory. She than pulls out her pen and says that we can add the tip on the receipt which I said no because our waitress left and she said it’s doesn’t matter you still have to tip it’s a group effort. At this point I don’t even want to tip at all because it’s just insane the way she is talking to us and demanding we tip which I have no problem doing because I am also a tipped employee. Personally I would never demand someone tips me and if I did I would never speak to someone so rudely like she did to us. She acted like we were caveman that have never stepped into a restaurant before knowing we go there many times a month. I bet if we were white she would never even have the courage to ask why they are hitting no tip. NEVER COMING HERE AGAIN!!"

"Pizza Plaza is conveniently located near my office, so we order from them frequently, primarily their pizzas—the Grandma pizza is always a favorite alongside their sandwiches. Over the past few months, my department has hosted several luncheons, and we decided to elevate the experience by trying out their catering menu after a disappointing experience with another caterer. Each month, we've been increasingly impressed. Their food is not only delicious but also a great value when feeding a large group, and everyone, including my boss, often asks who we've been using for catering. In particular, the chicken marsala has been a standout favorite for all. The staff at Pizza Plaza, especially Moses, are incredibly easy to work with and provide helpful suggestions. They deliver promptly, and everything arrives piping hot. Thank you for making our catering experience hassle-free, affordable, and one of the best options in the area!"

"The dinners for our 51st Anniversary was amazing. The large lobster tail was perfectly cooked as were the lamb chops, risotto and creamed spinach. The beet salad was so fresh and gyro meat was tender and plentiful. To complete the perfect meal, our outside server Nick, was perfection in every way. Served with perfect timing,, suggestions and even packed our leftovers. He was so polite and very knowledgeable at his job!"

"Shady Grove is a vaguely confusing space, but keeps it open to a lot of people. The interior and staff very much gives late night dinner/bar spot, the clientele is a range from college kids to older Walnut Street customers, and the menu prices are pretty expensive for what you get. I was pretty happy with our food, our bruschetta was really good, my burger was actually really awesome, and the Caesar salad was huuuuge. However, service was semi-slow, everything was just a little sticky, the lighting was weirdly bright in some spots, and the music was kind of loud for an afternoon. Probably just not my vibe, would be great for a lot of people and probably is fun to drink at!"

"Food was very good but service was incredibly slow and non existent. We were seated and served water right away. The waitress came by about 10 minutes later to take our order. We ordered an appetizer and for lunch 2 of us ordered wraps and one ordered a kabob. We got the appetizer about 25 minutes later with lunch 10 minutes after that. The food was good but given we met during our work lunch hour we were stressed at the end of the meal to pay and get back to the office. The restaurant was not very busy maybe 4 other tables being served so I can't say the restaurant was overwhelmed with guests that would justify, or at least explain, the incredibly slow service. Outside dining was quite nice and pleasant. Would go there again but only if I have plenty of time so as not to be stressed during my meal."

"Charming spot, but quite noisy. Be sure to inquire about the ingredients in your dish when you place your order. I ordered a chicken dish that didn’t mention pasta in the description, but it turned out to be a bowl of pasta with just a few pieces of chicken. We were celebrating multiple milestones and wanted some drinks, but the waitress wasn’t familiar with the mixed drinks or liquors available. Additionally, the bar was not in sight. Overall, I’d rate the food a 3, the service a 3, and the atmosphere a 4."

"Stopped in with a few friends for a late night dinner. We shared the jalapeño cilantro hummus and Italian fries. Both were tasty! The hummus was fresh and such great flavor. Italian fries were thin, cheesy, and garlicky... I will definitely get those again. I enjoyed the beef/lamb gyro- generous portion. The house made chips were huge and very good. Gyro is served with teriyaki sauce and garlic sauce, both were good. My friends got the Greek salad and said it was good. There's a variety of options for food and drinks to pick from. The restaurant wasn't very busy around 9pm, but took a little while for us to be helped. However, our waitress was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. She even shared her favorite dishes with us. The restaurant has a small stage for belly dancing and is a little on the darker side, but I'd say its part of the vibe. Yummy dinner and I'll be back."

"The customer service is outstanding! The staff genuinely cares for their customers and ensures everything runs smoothly. If there's an issue with your order, they address it promptly and without making you feel uncomfortable, which makes me eager to return whenever I'm in need of a meal! While it may be a bit on the pricier side, it's absolutely worth it. At Steaks N' Shakes, you get what you pay for: high-quality food that consistently tastes amazing. So you can indulge without any regrets later on!"

"Went to Arelis for the first time. My granddaughter told me she went with her mom and it was great, so we went. Nice little restaurant. Clean, man that took our order was very pleasant. We ordered a personal pie and garlic knots. My grand said they were amazing so she got them again. He made our pizza to order, didn't take long. The pizza was delicious, thin and crispy crust. The sauce, which makes a pizza for me, was excellent. You could tell it was house made, not from a can. If you haven't been to them , it's worth the trip."

"I've only visited this restaurant twice for takeout, but I'm looking forward to dining in soon. The food is exceptional, and the customer service is outstanding! Both times, the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. Nick is especially great! I had their seafood linguine, which is the best I've ever tasted, and the portion was very generous. The moussaka was also fantastic—I had it in Greece, and this version completely lived up to my expectations! Each entrée comes with a fresh, crisp salad. The calamari is fresh and delicious, and the steak and cheese sandwich was tasty with perfectly crispy fries. As for desserts, the cheesecake and baklava are delightful! I can’t wait to try the tiramisu on my next visit. Dalia's is definitely a place I'll want to return to again and again!"

"We were pleasantly surprised by the food and the ambience. We live in the neighborhood and wonder why it took us so long to enjoy a great meal there. It's relaxed, it's delicious and most of all our waiter, a really nice young man, was outstanding. It's a great place where you can't choose how you want to eat because there's a little bit of it and a little bit of it with Italian flair"

"Stopping by in Virginia and it was such a great experience. The service was great from the jokes and friendly manner. We each got pizzas that were fantastic, my bbq chicken pizza and his NY style loaded up with toppings. We also got their large fries that were delicious. We sat and chat inside for a while, and they allowed me to keep my cool items in the fridge until we were ready to leave. We grabbed a water on the way out and they were very generous. Definitely worth the hype, I’m glad I chose here out of all the places around our stop"

"Was browsing Happy Cow during a snack at Chez Elle across the street and saw that BBB was in there so we decided to try it for dinner. I didn't actually check HC to see what exactly was vegan so I just looked at the menu. After talking to the server she asked about the vegan option that was under the Catfish and apparently it's cajun (blackened) tofu over dirty rice with green beans and an aioli made with vegenaiseThe tofu was absolutely delicious and it was cut thin so it got crispy (my favorite). It's about $4-5 less (think the catfish is $21) if you sub tofu. It was delicious and I really enjoyed it. It's a bit overpriced so that's the only reason I'm giving it 4 stars, won't come back unless were in the area of Chez Elle but a good option if we are in the area."

"Predictably horrible service (told to wait for our reservation, then told we didn’t have one, showed them then allowed to sit and be ignored most of the night only put up with this as we had our vegetarian person with us) excellent food, right inthe middle of Lake Anne seasonal events. Maybe next time we’ll take a sampler to the brew house to be surrounded by friendlyfolk"
