"Food was very good but service was incredibly slow and non existent. We were seated and served water right away. The waitress came by about 10 minutes later to take our order. We ordered an appetizer and for lunch 2 of us ordered wraps and one ordered a kabob. We got the appetizer about 25 minutes later with lunch 10 minutes after that. The food was good but given we met during our work lunch hour we were stressed at the end of the meal to pay and get back to the office. The restaurant was not very busy maybe 4 other tables being served so I can't say the restaurant was overwhelmed with guests that would justify, or at least explain, the incredibly slow service. Outside dining was quite nice and pleasant. Would go there again but only if I have plenty of time so as not to be stressed during my meal."

The custard topped with cinnamon was caramelized after the cinnamon. That made the cinnamon taste burnt. Try topping after the caramelizing is done.

The food we ordered was delicious, as always. I especially loved the starter sampler plate, which isn't listed on the menu but is available if you ask for it.

Great fresh and wholesome ingredients at a fair price. If your looking for something unique and flavorful in a non pretentious and mellow ambiance give it a try. View menu

Service was terrible. My husbands meal came later than mine and the other couple we were with. We were almost done! I said to the waiter , Is my husband joining us for dinner tonight?

Excellent dinner, great service. The garlic shrimp ravioli was a big hit. As were the desserts. I would definitely recommend this restaurant. Not super-fancy, but certainly a step above the usual family-friendly places.

Server was friendly and trying hard, but was having some problems, seemed to be new as a server. One of our entrees (party of 4) was not submitted to the kitchen with the other three, so there was a longer wait for the 4th entree. View menu

Been wanting to try this restaurant for a long time but kept seeing mixed reviews. I have no idea why. It was fabulous and on a Sat night. We shared the sampler and the martini was perfect. Service was great as they did not rush us but watched to see our pace. Will go back!

We have been there several times and liked it. With out of town guests we wanted to impress It turned out tone awful. The we out of the beer we wanted, they were out of two of the seven main courses, they were out of 6 of the 7 desserts we wanted. The waiter acted really put out because we wanted all the things they were out of. We will not return.

"Overall: Solid, good empanadas with interesting sauces (recommend the chimichurri sauce) in a cozy setting Food: We tried the Peruvian traditional beef empanada, mushroom and chicken empanada. We got the recommended sauces which was the chimichurri sauce for the beef and the rocoto side sauce for the chicken empanada. I had them to go and requested that the empanadas be heated up. Chimichurri sauce Bummer that the sauces are $0.50 each. I would have preferred that they increase the price of the empanada to include a sauce. This was the best sauce. You could see all the ingredients in it, and it felt so fresh. Highly recommend! Rocoto sauce Tasted like a vinegary hot sauce, more like tabasco sauce. I wouldn't necessarily recommend this sauce on its own personally just because it tastes like something I have had before. They probably make their own from rocoto peppers though, so maybe it's just not my thing. Beef empanada The beef was good it had raisins in it. It was particularly delicious with the chimichurri sauce. It was filled with a lot of beef but honeslty they could have bulked it up with more of the fillers such as potatoes and onions (or even chopped up the olives so you can have it in more stuff. Chicken mushroom empanada The chicken mushroom was also good. It was more filling than the beef, probably because the chicken chunks were bigger and because the sauce is creamier to begin with. There were plenty of mushrooms. I had mushrooms in every bite! This might be personal preference, but I personally thought that it benefited from having the rocoto sauce because otherwise it would be too heavy on its own. The rocoto sauce tasted just like tabasco sauce. While I think that the empanada needs a sauce, I personally would have liked to have more chimichurri sauce for this. Service: I didn't dine in, just did take out. It took about 10 minutes to have them warm it up and package it. It took a bit longer than expected for the empanadas and sauce being already made (I assume, I could see it from a distance). The seating area is nice! I liked their llama slideshow playing on the television. Portion size: ok! They are more expensive than other places but that's because the portion size is bigger. One empanada is like a heavy snack or a very light lunch. We recommend two empanadas for an actual meal. (Your mileage may vary if you get the chicken mushroom empanada)"
