"I’m leaving this review because I’m not sure if it was an off day or if there was ill intent involved. This establishment closed at 2pm the day my mom I visited. Driving through Adel, we arrived a little before 12pm, my mother was craving ribs so she went in. Upon entering there was a weird atmosphere because she received stares from all the other customers but still proceeded to try to place an order with the hostess. After looking over the menu, finally she decided on just the ribs. They hostess took her order but came back out to say they were out of ribs. I’ve never heard of a barbecue place running out of ribs, especially not that early. I’m not saying it’s impossible but we couldn’t help but feel as if we just were being refused service due to her race. Meal type: Lunch"

"I visited the local bar for the first time and had a wonderful experience. The food was delicious! I ordered the queen with chicken, while my husband had the wings—one of which was the largest I’ve ever seen! What really stood out at this place was the staff. One server managed the entire area and the expansive bar impressively. Despite some challenges, the team worked really well together. The cook served our meals quickly and everything came out hot, which was remarkable considering how busy they were. I highly recommend this hardworking crew who serve great food. It's a lovely local spot to hang out!"

"As a European, I've had my fair share of authentic and delicious pizzas. I also have experience with Hunt Brothers Pizza, which I've encountered frequently at military bases overseas for over a decade. Now, regarding this restaurant: the staff was incredibly friendly, even though they were quite busy. The wing bites were tasty, just as they should be, but the pizza... I was genuinely surprised. It tasted distinctively better than any Hunt Brothers pizza I've ever tried. Each bite reminded me of a traditional Ristorante Pizzeria. Two thumbs up! This is the only pizza in the USA that has made me feel that way."

"I had a FANTASTIC experience here today. I ordered takeout, a hot dog, fries and a BLT. Not only was the customer service above and beyond but in addition that was the BEST BLT I’ve ever had. All the toppings were so fresh, the bacon was PERFECT. The fries are perfection. I really appreciate this place and the variety on the menu. 5 stars!"

"One of my new favorite pizza joints, we drive from Independence just for this pizza. The crust is thin and crispy everytime. "Ate in once, carried home tonight. The food was great the first time. I asked the kid working, what was his favorite and he said with a big old grin, the Tuesday special, beef tips and rice. It was the kind of grin like Now I know you 're going to knowI 'm lying through my teeth but the boss wants me to push the daily special when I can, so I obliged him and took a chance andthey just hit the spot. A side of green beans and I thought I was back home. I let him know he didn 't let me down and heacted like a next generation chef, looking gratified with another appreciative patron. "The pizza is mediocre, not terrible not awesome. What prompted me to write this review is we ordered cinnamon bites and they tasted like garlic with cinnamon on them. We didn’t try them until the day after we ordered as we got them for breakfast. When I called and asked about a replacement or refund, I was told they couldn’t do anything since I hadn’t come right back in that evening. I had no way of knowing they were gross until the next day so I guess make sure your order is 100% correct and nothing is off as soon as you get it home? It’s frustrating because now I’m out $12. They literally offer free cinnamon bites if you sign up for an email, so I don’t understand why replacing them would be such a big deal. I have no desire to scam a local business out of some freaking bites, but thanks to that interaction I definitely won’t be back."

"The service was lacking as well. We had to ask for a glass for our beer, and aside from one couple at the bar, we were the only customers there. We ended up walking to the bar to pay our bill. The ambiance was non-existent; what could have been a cozy space felt rather neglected. A thorough cleaning would make a significant difference. The tables were greasy, and the plastic-covered menus need replacing, as they gave off an impression of poor sanitation. It’s puzzling why restaurants use plastic covers; they always end up looking grimy after a short while. A better strategy would be to print a few hundred menus on plain paper for single use and then toss them. This approach would simplify menu updates and be more cost-effective with just a little planning. While AJ's might be suitable for a beer and a burger, there are certainly cleaner and better choices in Adams. We won’t be coming back."

"I typically order delivery from this restaurant, and I'm always pleased with the pizza and potato wedges! Today, I decided to stop by for lunch, and I was pleasantly surprised to discover that you can actually dine in. The staff was incredibly friendly and guided me through the menu, highlighting their lunch options. I ordered a small pizza and a soda. The space is roomy, offering the choice of tables or booths, and there are TVs on the walls for entertainment. When my pizza arrived, it was piping hot and utterly delicious. The Diet Pepsi was also refreshing! Overall, I would give this place an A+. I can't wait to bring my boys here, as I'm sure they'll love Me n Ed's. I took a picture, but I'm not sure how to upload it to this post, so you'll have to come and see for yourself. I guarantee it's 100% good and satisfying!"

"Normally I have no complaints when we get food from here. Usually it's fresh, hot, and service is quick even when it's busy. That was not the case this evening. I ordered online and had a little shopping to do so I timed it out to where I could grab what I needed from the store, grab our kids food and be there on time for my curbside pick up, which again, even when busy they're typically fast. I got there 2 to 3 minutes early and called to let them know I was there, they said it wasn't done and it'd be a few minutes. Fifteen minutes later, after seeing multiple people going in and out getting food, mine finally came out. I get home (only maybe 3 mins drive) and the food warmth was at the level of something that's been sitting on a food warmer. The fries were soggy and chewy which is very repulsive, the sandwich tasted good, I mean it's a Roman burger so how could it not be, but it was more on the luke warm side, the cheese sauce was piping hot though so that was good. Honestly, I'd have been less upset if they'd have said it'll be a few minutes but it'll take even longer to be brought out because I'd have walked my happy butt in there with a smile on my face and picked it up so that it was still hot and the fries wouldn't be soggy."

"I don't think I need to say much about their ranch dressing—it's simply the best, no question, just like all the Me-n-Ed's locations. This particular spot stands out because it has a party area you can reserve, along with arcade games, several claw machines, and a variety of gumball machines offering unique prizes. Kids always have a blast here, and the staff is consistently friendly and very accommodating to the little ones who tend to run around."

"This place is A JOKE !! I've tried ordering pizza twice. The first time 12/3/20 I called at 945 pm they asked is this for pick up or delivery. I said pick up then they said the kitchen is closed! Li asked when do you close they said 12 and then hung up on me ! Tried to call back they answerd and left the phone lay their. I called tonight 12/11/20 8:15 no answer then again at 8:40 no answer.
