"The burger itself was average—nothing exceptional, definitely not worth the $20 price tag. The next day, I experienced stomach discomfort that lingered throughout the day, and considering this was our first “real” meal in two days after relying on packed food, it only added to the disappointment.
As for the fries, they were cold by the time they arrived. The side salad came topped with onions, and there was no option to have them omitted, plus the lettuce looked wilted. I ordered a beer flight, but nothing really stood out as excellent. Among the two IPAs, one had a flavor reminiscent of a Christmas brew, while the brown ale was decent if that’s your preference. The lighter beers were almost tasteless, though the pale ale was solid enough. I must say, the root beer was the best drink on the menu; without it, I would have rated this experience only one star.
Another frustration was having to order through a QR code at the table rather than through a server. This made it difficult, if not impossible, to customize items or make substitutions since the options available were limited to pre-set checkboxes. Unfortunately, there were no waitstaff around to assist unless someone was expressly coming to our table, which significantly reduced the level of service. Typically, you expect to see waitstaff circulating to help, but here it felt like you had to wait for your food to be served before receiving any attention.
Had I known that I could order directly from the bar, I would have chosen that option instead. In my opinion, nothing beats talking to a human when dining out. All things considered, two stars feel a bit generous, as the burger was the epitome of unimpressive, and while the waitstaff were friendly when present, they were seldom around."
