"When I made the reservation at Pomodorino I made it through Open Table. NEVER AGAIN!!! We arrived before our reservation time and the restaurant had no record of our reservation made thru Open Table. I had my confirmation number but it didn't matter because they had no record of our reservation. The manager Bonnie was very apologetic about not having our reservation and said that this has happened before with Open Table reservations. The restaurant was packed but we were lucky that it was still early. She said she would accommodate us but unfortunately we had to sit at a table for and we were only people! Our appetizers came and a table for opened up and we were able to move to smaller table. I understand that the restaurant pays for your service and I hope that you don't collect anything from them. This was a very upsetting experience for us and because of this will never use Open Table again. We enjoyed the restaurant and would recommend Pomodorino"

"We have dined here several times, once with a large group. Service and food were wonderful. My husband and I went to dinner last night and it was an awful experience. I ordered a dish off the specials menu, which was prawns oreganato. They were extremely overcooked and tough to chew. There were 2 large prawns. I took 2 bites out of 1 prawn. The waiter came over and I told him the dish was not edible, I have never sent food back before. The waiter started questioning how much I ate, it was clear from the amount of food on the plate that I had barely ate anything. He was extremely disrespectful to me. Spoke to the manager on the way out, he said to me, the chef took a bite and said there was nothing wrong with the dish. Never going back. Horrible way to treat customers."

"Always enjoy this mini chain in NYC for the current menu with tasty choices I had the peri peri chicken this time and the always buzzy atmosphere. It is a bit noisy and that's part of the charged, energetic feel. Food quality is always high and there's something on the menu for everyone. Had a friend visiting from Asia and he loved the feel and menu. If you've never had shakshuka, give it a try!"

"I ordered a pasta combination plate along with a house salad. The portions were generous and the food was delicious. The salad featured crisp leaf lettuce, which was much tastier than iceberg, and while the red sauce was slightly salty, the ravioli was hearty and well-filled. We both had enough food to take home, and it was just as enjoyable reheated the next day. I highly recommend Elizabeth's. Mangia, mangia!"

"We have been going to this restaurant for years, and is the first time we rated it so low. The service made us feel we were just pushed us thru. The place was about 3/4 full yet we had poor , then rushed service. We felt like we were at a short order diner. Food was good as usual but the evening was ruined with the poor quality and no personality service. The owners were not there so we will give it another try when we know one of the brothers will be there. Definitely check before you go!"

"We came across this on a road trip between San Diego and LA and we are so glad we did. Both the service and food were amazing! "My hubby and I had the pleasure of dining at this hidden gem thanks to recommendations by Open Table. Started with the homemade bread served warm and slightly toasted. YUM! Fresh salad and the entrees were oh so delicious. I had the gnocchi with gorgonzola cream and pistachios. Was hesitant but after a slight push from the waitress I went for it. SO happy that I did. Ate every morsel. AMAZING SIMPLY AMAZING! My husband went with the pappardelle bolognese. Scrumptious. All pastas are homemade as well. Felt just so so about the orange carrot cake but everything else was phenomenal. Kudos to the chef. Would HIGHLY recommend!!! Oh and the service THUMBS UP!!!"

"Terrible service! Waiter forgot to put in one order. Never acknowledged the error and then offered pepper and parm but then forgot that too! Never came back to the table to check on anything or offer more drinks. He frequented the table next to us to refill wine, etc. Dropped the bill and ran off! Sometimes stuff happens but rude to not address the snafu, particularly when they weren’t even busy! Embarrassing in front of our visitors."

"this place is a sweat. eating is terrible. no season. I spent over $100 and they screwed up my order. I asked a certain court and took my order, drove all the way home from a long working day. just to see that it was done wrong. I was served something else. the mgmt was in the middle of the closing when I made the call to complain. the manager had the nerve to ask me to save my order and bring them back the next day so that they can give it back what left me to eat with nothing. the next day they have made my order new, I took it home. disgusting and there was diarrhea for 3 days. I think they gave me something to eat. overte price and eating was nasty, while mgmt was unprofessional. I do not recommend this place. I order now from the west friendly or west wendover location"

This was the first time I've experienced such an unsatisfactory visit to this restaurant. On a positive note, I appreciate that they are able to accommodate larger tables, making it a great option for gatherings."

"This is a very quaint neighborhood restaurant in Tarzana… You feel like you are eating in someone’s home. Located not far from LAX in Lawndale, it turned out to be a fantastic find for Afghan and other ethnic dishes; I particularly enjoyed the kabobs and various rice dishes. They also offer Italian options. The restaurant has a lunch menu as well. Situated in a bustling shopping center, there's plenty of free parking available. The service was attentive and personal. The restaurant has been recently refurbished and has a warm, inviting atmosphere. I will definitely be bringing my business colleagues back for a great meal."
