"One downside is that the decor feels a bit dated and could use a refresh. Though the restaurant has a long-standing history and is one of the original Italian spots in the area, its appearance could benefit from some modernization. I also noticed they've recently added a table at the front displaying products for sale, which is a fantastic addition since there's no Italian market nearby. However, I was extremely disappointed when my takeout order arrived without any utensils, which are essential for enjoying the meal—especially since I had just picked it up. Not everyone may have access to utensils at home, and it can be inconvenient to search for them. Additionally, the Spaghetti Contadina I ordered was a letdown; the noodles were all broken and didn't look appetizing, rendering the dish a waste as no one in my family wanted to try it. This was the first time I've experienced such an unsatisfactory visit to this restaurant. On a positive note, I appreciate that they are able to accommodate larger tables, making it a great option for gatherings."

This restaurant has been around for years, its old school, traditional, and absolutely amazing. I was an LIC resident 10 years ago, I came back to eat lunch at this restaurant again last month and it taste just the same.

Charming Italian restaurant in Long Island City. I highly recommend the fries, margherita pizza, and carbonara pasta—they were all delicious! The house-made sangria was also a highlight. What stood out the most was the warm hospitality and attentiveness of the servers. I definitely recommend it!

Such a delightful Friday dinner at Manetta?s! We walked in without a reservation and they kindly accommodated us. We started with a bottle of Chianti and the burrata special. Then we split the gluten free carbonara and gluten free Bianca pizza. Both thegluten free pasta and pizza were incredible. Our friend enjoyed a glutenful salmon pasta. Friendly staff and warm atmosphere -they even had a gorgeous fire going on this cold winter night. View menu

Just had the Quattro Formaggi and it was mind blowing. Loved the flavor of the cheeses, the cream, and the perfectly chewy noodles. Some of the best flavors outside of Italy I’ve had in a while. Also had the house cab and it was tasty. The cab was a somewhat light for my taste, but good flavor overall. And.... snuck in the flourless chocolate cake for dessert and i think I’m about to explode. Wish I could eat more though, sadly, will have to come back another time to sample the other wonderful dishes.

Pizza is really really good here! We had a pleasant experience on our anniversary! Everything was beautiful and great. We had baked clams (12$ , pizza Capriccios (18$ , Pappardel Nonna (18$ , Bistecca Chef (33$ and for dessert we had Panna Cotta (7$ and Frutti DiBosco (7$ . So want to say the prices here are affordable and it’s a big relief because so many other restaurants are raising theirs. So clams were good, pizza just out of this world and yes I would recommend this restaurant and would definitely be coming back.

Who needs Manhattan? Just take the 7 train and step into Manettas for an unforgettable dining experience. This is undoubtedly one of the best Italian restaurants in the boroughs. The attentive waitstaff can assist you with selecting dishes, drinks, desserts, and even offer fashion advice for your next outing. You can't go wrong with any of their classic pasta dishes—especially the Fettuccine Horses or the Pappardelle Della Nonna. And don’t miss out on the homemade desserts; they’re so good you'll want to savor every crumb. Whether you're looking for a casual dinner or a special night out, Manettas won't disappoint. Heard Manetta's was a great local gem and it didn't disappoint. You can tell the restaurant is a local staple when you walk in and get greeted with smiling faces. Brick oven in the background just added flavor to my palette. Our party of five didn't have reservations, and was accommodated promptly. I had grilled veal, artichoke and mushroom. Not my normal but hit the spot. Others had Vitelli Milanese, which must be a local favorite since I seen three of these head for tables while being seated. My wife had the seafood pasta special which came with lobster tail and mussels. Non of which came home with us. We finished up with some cream brûlée and three flavors of gilatto. Thank You Manetta's...

After living in the area for four years, my wife and I finally decided to give this restaurant a try for dinner, mainly because we saw they offered gluten-free options on their online menu. From the outside, it never appeared very busy. Once we walked in, we were seated in the main dining area with all the other guests, rather than in the front room with the large street-facing windows. The wine was enjoyable, and as for the food: my wife loved her Chicken Francese, while my Seafood with gluten-free penne was decent, though a bit lacking in shrimp and clams. The highlight was definitely the appetizer of Sautéed Mushrooms on a bed of Arugula. We plan to return, but we won’t be expecting a rom...
