"We ordered pizzas, dinners and the breadsticks a couple weeks ago. We were immediately greeted by an extremely friendly and warming lady who wears black glasses (I don’t know her name but my husband will admit all day long that he’s got a crush on her lol). Since we arrived about 10 minutes earlier than the time we were given for pickup, the owner gave us all a free drink on him for the wait, even though we were early. No one ever writes a review for the good stuff. This is a welcoming atmosphere with great food and a huge family atmosphere."

"If I we weren't so hungry we probably wouldnt have eaten more than the first few bites. They served up a huge disappointment. We ordered a bread basket , sausage peppers , and Fettucini Chicken Alfredo. a Moscow Mule. The bread basket was great. Sausage and Peppers was served with some liquid in the bottom of the bowl. Not thick enough to be a sauce . Just watery flavorless broth. The sausage was mediocre and the peppers were soggy and bleh. Don't get this dish. Fettuccine Chicken Alfredo wasn't any better . The noodles were over cooked and the sauce was about as good as the pre made canned stuff. The drink we ordered wasn't even delivered until we had finished our meal . The bar wasn't busy and their were three people standing behind it doing nothing when we left. Highly recommend going to olive garden over this place .. or McDonald's."

"Food was good, but pricey at over $27 for one small cheesesteak, fries, and two sodas. The main issue was the terrible service, or should I say lack of it. We got there about 11:45. Only one table was occupied. We walked to the counter, ordered, and asked if it was OK to eat outside. She said no problem. As we were standing there waiting, she said she would bring it out to us. After about 10 min sitting at the table, I went in and asked if we could at least get our sodas while we waited. She said she was getting them. Shortly after another girl came out with the drinks and said we were supposed to ask a server if we wanted to sit outside. I said we told the girl when we placed the order. She said we weren't supposed to do that because we needed to tell the server. I said she should tell the girl at the counter who told us it was OK. She again said she was just letting us know for the future. When she finally brought the food, that was the last we ever saw of anyone. No one was doing any work because at that point we were the only customers. Regardless, no one ever asked how the food was, if we needed anything, nor offered to refill the sodas. I don't think the future will be an issue as I see no reason to return."

"We visited Pomodoro on a Saturday night, which is typically a busy time for the restaurant. My mother ordered a NY steak and was very clear in requesting it to be “pink in the middle,” especially since she had previously received an overcooked steak. When her steak arrived, she cut into it and found it to be well-cooked, with only a tiny bit of pink in the center. When we spoke to the manager about this, he not only refused to take back the steak for a replacement, but he also argued with her, insisting that it was indeed pink, and therefore she got what she ordered. I was shocked to see a manager argue with a customer, and he kept saying that he was “so busy” that he couldn’t accommodate her request for a new steak. Personally, I don’t patronize restaurants that treat their customers this way. We won’t be returning to Pomodoro again."

"It's always a pleasure to support local businesses! We stopped by with our family, both kids and adults. The marinara sauce is delicious and the pizza and calzone are made with fresh ingredients. We also enjoyed two salads, which were fantastic. Like many other restaurants, they are experiencing supply chain issues, but they handled it with grace. They offer a good variety of options for groups and they also have a great lunch special: two slices of pizza and a drink for $8."

"POV: it's May 2022 and you've just had the best pasta of your entire LIFE.I don't know how long this place has been around, or why it finally decided to show up on my search results for dinner one evening, but I'm sure glad it did.Locanda Sorrento is a quaint restaurant occupying a corner spot on the outskirts of downtown Campbell. If you want to park right by the restaurant, it may take effort, but DT Campbell has plenty of public parking a quick walk away. We found a spot by the restaurant just fine.We got seated quickly without a reservation and they immediately got us situated with menus, water, and fresh bread! It was a busy night, despite being close to closing. Luckily, I think we made it a safe amount of time before the kitchen closed.Dishes we tried Fresh bread: I do not know what type of bread we were given, though I want to guess sourdough. Either way, it was perfectly crispy (I don't like the chewy crusts that bread can sometimes come with) so it was easy to eat. The pesto that came with the bread was savory and herby; the bread was gobbled up quickly because of this pesto! 5/5 Caprese Salad: It was great, but the only acidic element came from four tomato confit. The ratio of ingredients wasn't my favorite. 3/5 will try the fried apps next time Linguine del golfo: Smelled great and looked beautiful. ?/5 I didn't eat it Carbonara: AL DENTE pasta has never been cooked so well for me. I always bite into pasta expecting it to be a tad overcooked, but this was chewy, hearty, and so so good! I'm ruined for other pastas. I also love that they didn't add peas into this dish, like many other places tend to. The sauce was thick and delicious and the bacon pieces were great. For people who have eaten good udon before, the pasta here had a similar springiness that makes it a star. 6/5 when can we go back? Tiramisu: Beautiful presentation and tasted great on the edges. The center tasted way too soaked for my liking. 3/5 would try something else next time Chocolate Tartufo: We didn't know what this was going into and it was delightful! If you love chocolate and gelato, this is an easy choice. 4/5!For two people, you can typically just share a dessert. Protip for those who's eyes are bigger than their stomachs like me.I really love the atmosphere they have crafted in this restaurant. Additionally, we were able to catch the staff member singing Happy Birthday to some guests. Let me tell you, this isn't your typical awkward staff singing for awkward guest situation. Hearing this guy sing is an EXPERIENCE. He sounds so good, that it makes me want to bring others here for their birthday! ? Can't wait to come back!"

"I used to love this place and never had any complaints until tonight. I understand that establishments get busy but today was ridiculous. I called and placed a delivery and paid $69.10 (that’s including the $7.50 tip) and it’s been over an hour and a half. No food. Nothing. I tried calling them and NO ANSWER. The line will continuously ring and then just hang up and this has happened back to back as I’ve tried calling. So I can’t get ahold of anyone to find out where my food is nor get my money back."

"HECK YEAH! Good pizza in Trumbull. FINALLY! First impression was very positive. Walking up to the building you can already smell the strong aroma of pizza. Walk in and the first thing I hear is the man at the front calling out orders to the cooks in Italian. Always a good sign! The place was super busy with takeout orders. Also a positive sign. We got takeout but I would definitely dine here. The inside is really nice. New looking with classy decor. There are also tons of imported goodies for sale. It was all very tempting yet I somehow managed to walk out with just a chocolate bar (in addition to my pie, obviously).Speaking of the pie... it was just what the doctor ordered! What can I say? The crust, the sauce, the toppings it was all excellent. Interestingly the sauce was on top of the cheese. Very surprising! That aspect suggested Detroit, yet everything else about the pizza screamed Connecticut... No complaints here! In the end all the ingredients go to the same place and my taste buds love them all the same! OK I actually have just one complaint. The pie needed more sauce. It's really good sauce so I wanted a lot of it. I also just love tomatoes... I'll take it under the ingredients in addition to on top . "My husband and I came in sat down at the seating of our choice. Literally in minutes our waitress greeted us and took our order of drinks. "Just got off of work... it's a Sunday.. was ready to go home and start dinner but new the food would take a while had my 6 year old Son with me and that's you know that's what?Let me just get a chicken Parmesan slice and my son wanted a beef patty with cheese. I then thought you know what?Let me sit out here since they have a little table and Chairs outside. I told one of the guys if they can wipe the counter down so that I'll be able to set my Sunday night. I was then handed paper towels to go. Do it myself and then when I asked. Why would I use the paper towels to wipe off the bird feces? If I'm getting ready to sit down to eat, he said I'm while I'm working back here via the counter. Okay, fine, but that turning me off. I sat down and began to start eating my slice of pizza with a knife and fork. My hands were dirty. I took the first bite and I was at. It had a Sandy Rocky consistency to the cheese. You know, so the pizza and I continued showing. Spit it out whatever was in my mouth. I spit it out. And then as I began to you know, make sure I had everything out of my mouth.That tastes like sand or Rocky.I said you know, let me go in there and let them know.I'm just gonna get a regular old plane Slice. When I did that very nicely and discreetly?I was told very Obnoxiously that if I don't like it I don't have to eat it. I don't have to come there very nicely. Myself very naturally. My son was there and I was so embarrassed so disappointed. Because it's not my first time there. The guy actually delivered to my apartment right around the corner. Plenty of times in the past, and I was just shot at his response. So I then called the cops because I felt very disrespected as a customer and then while standing there also called the health department and made an appointment. Instead, there, so you can know how serious the matter is instead of brushing me off of something so serious as something Rocky in the pizza. What if I would have swallowed it? You know this nasty. Why didn't you have to react that way it was? I didn't even make a big issue of it. I was actually gonna ask him for a different slice. But Hey it wasn't my permit to eat it after him. Saying that I didn't leave and I started to get calm after I didn't get upset at first as a reaction and I made my calls. And? It gave me the money back and he actually gave me the money back twice. Not even realizing it and then try to make light of the situation. After he was very nasty saying well. Call the police and I don't care. I said you don't care if I eat something and I showed it to you. I actually showed it to you on a plate. He actually took the plate for me and threw it right in the garbage and I couldn't even take a picture of it to show.No. That was my.Sunday experience. I guess I just went straight home and cooked after all. I'm done venting but actually a terrible experience. Somewhere else Domino's PA John's anywhere but there. I asked the guy Hey he used to deliver. At my house, you think you're better now and you can treat people anyway.Because they stepped your position up and you're making a few bucks more.He said yeah, I'm a manager now.I'm the boss.Meanwhile, I have a health department.A submitted request and ticket number and I will be moving forward with a complaint.That's not how you run a establishment at all"

"Stayed overnight 9-16-23 for sons soccer game and wanted good pizza. looked up some places and decided to come here. We got 6 garlic knots and 16 large pizza. The knots were the size of a baseball. Light crisp on outside and soft in the middle. Marinara sauce was great. Pizza was not oily and also tasted great. Almost didn't go because of the reviews and not sure what some like but glad I gave this place a chance. Definitely will come back again when in town. Very good.
