"Since moving to Santa Clarita Valley a few years ago, we had heard about Vincenzo's and were eager to try their New York-style pizza. We're always in search of a great slice, and we hoped they could deliver a pie that captures that essence. Upon entering, we found the ordering process could be confusing for first-time visitors—it took us a few turns through the dining room to reach the counter. After placing our order, our food was brought to the table.
We decided on a medium cheese pizza stretched thin, with an extra request for sauce, but unfortunately, it arrived lacking in that respect and was a bit overcooked. While it wasn't bad, it didn't quite measure up to the New York-style pizza we were hoping for. On a positive note, the Cheese Garlic Bread was delicious, served on Texas-style toast, and the green salad—loaded with croutons and cheese—was simple yet satisfying.
In summary, we are still on the lookout for outstanding New York-style pizza in the area, and sadly, Vincenzo's didn't meet our expectations. The restaurant's somewhat outdated atmosphere and long history led us to wonder if it had once been better than it is today."
