"I want to start off by saying that my family and I are what I consider to be regulars. My parents order our family dinner from here almost weekly, spending between $45-55 on average. The pizza, salad, and appetizers usually are great. This Saturday, though, the family pizza we ordered from the Houghton location was doughy in the center and didn't seem fully cooked. No biggie, things happen. My wife and I took it back and asked that it be cooked a little longer. The employees were understanding, the green shirted supervisor not so much. I want to be clear, they did cook the pizza longer, as requested, for which I am grateful. We would continue to give this establishment our business if it ended there. The supervisor argued with us, repeatedly saying that this is how they cook pizza (usually it's not) that the pizza was not doughy (it was) and that it was cooked perfectly (it definitely wasn't). He continued to state this seven minutes later, giving us the recooked pizza back. He has a right to his opinion, just as I--the customer--have a right to mine. To argue with me and tell me that my opinion is wrong and his is right is unbecoming of a supervisor that is supposed to be dealing in customer service. We didn't ask for a refund (nor was one offered). We didn't request a new pizza (which also was not offered). What we did receive was a very poor customer experience. I am truly sorry that we will have to find another place for our weekend dinner, hopefully one that in the future doesn't leave as sour a taste in our mouths."
