"At first, I wasn't very happy with my experience. I waited for about 5 minutes before someone came to take my order. After we finished looking over the menu, my kids and I were quite hungry, and we ended up ordering about $56 worth of food. I was pleased with the meal and decided to leave a $10 tip. Just a heads up: when the restaurant is busy, especially during lunch and dinner times, it's important to be patient while waiting for service. That’s what I learned from my visit today!"

"This is like my fifth time eating there I’m done the St Paul I order i said no onions not only that the patty was thin n burnt me n my husband. The rice don’t have enough meat in it always on top to make u think u have ALOT then half way through n on the bottom NO MEAT!! "Excellent value during happy hour for both small plates and drinks. We shared the pork potstickers, crab rangoon, edamame, and Vietnamese summer rolls, and I would recommend all of them except the crab rangoon. For the main course, the black tea seasonal fish (Mahi) was absolutely delicious. Unfortunately, the service left something to be desired. Our waiter was busy attending to a large party of 24 and was unavailable for most of our meal, which wasn't his fault since the venue was short-staffed. We had to ask other servers for water, cocktail refills, and to clear our plates. No one checked on us unless we flagged them down."

"Happy Easter. This is my second time here. It left an impression the first time and had to come back and enjoy another delicious meal. The entrance already sets the tone as you enter the property. The pond with red rocks and the trees surrounding it gives it an amazing feeling of peace and tranquility. I love the fu dogs at the entrance and even lovelier with the amethyst stone at the front counter and waiting area. The decor is nice and eye catching. The dragons are magnificent as well. Of course, I am bias because I love anything to do with Asian culture and art. We had an attentive waitress and she did her best to serve us. My friend couldn't get her taste buds with the beverages and she ended up with just lemon water. So happy the waitress was patient with us. It makes a difference in the world. It was appreciative and that says a whole lot for the restaurant itself. We ordered sesame chicken with fried rice and mixed vegetables with garlic sauce and fried rice. We ended up sharing with each other. It was filling and delicious ? ? ?."

"This was the first time my wife and I had ever eaten at this place, and it will be the LAST. I made this known to the person who took our order. We ordered Mandarin Orange chicken with white rice. This is supposed to be a spicy dish, but it was not. I signaled to the waitress, who made eye contact with us but never returned to our table until we were finished with our meal. I wanted to order some hot oil and some egg rolls because the Mandarin chicken tasted like pork skins with sauce on them, and the white rice was hard, not steamed. I spoke with the person who took our order, who also happened to be the cashier, about the issues with the food and service. He said, You 'll get better service in Scottsdale. I told him that we eat at several locations around the area and that there are many places that provide GOOD FOOD and SERVICE; you just don 't provide it here. I have read the other reviews of this place and am shocked by some of them. Everyone is entitled to their own tastes and opinions. Do yourself a favor. If you 're hungry for a quick bowl of rice, stop at Jack in the Box. You 'll have better luck."

"Asian has been serving delicious food for decades! I used to enjoy lunch there and often brought Asian dishes to the office. Everyone loved it! My colleagues would request it time and again. That was over twenty years ago, and Asian's food still tastes fantastic. Not only is the food excellent, but the prices are also very reasonable. Just make sure to bring cash, as that's their only form of payment. Sometimes you'll see people hanging out in front of the restaurant (probably because they know it's cash-only), but they're not a threat—most likely just trying to save up for something from the liquor store next door. Oh, and navigating the parking lot for the liquor store can be tricky. Despite this, the quality and price of the food make any inconvenience worth it!"

"I visited for lunch and really appreciated the smaller portion sizes they offer. The menu has so many options! My friend actually had to remind me to start by choosing my protein—chicken, beef, or shrimp—to help narrow down the choices. I ended up going with the coconut shrimp, which came with large pieces of pineapple, so I didn't get as much shrimp as I had anticipated. Thankfully, the lunch combo included rice and an egg roll, so I certainly had enough to eat. My friends were also very pleased with their meals. I found the service to be excellent. We were seated right away, received our drinks promptly, and the staff checked on us both during the meal and again towards the end. I’m looking forward to coming back to try another dish. "Don't recommend the Cajun mac and cheese because it didn't have much flavor. Was cold by the time it was delivered so the cheese was stiff (warmed it up and added a little more seasoning to it which made it taste okay). Snow crab and shrimp was with their boil special sauce and it was really good! The shrimp was a little over cooked because it was really hard getting the shell off but otherwise, really tasty. The clam was good, decided to get garlic butter sauce, which is always a good choice. Red potatoes in both bags were really cook and not too mushy. The corn tho, didn't have much flavor or taste (didn't even have a corn taste)."

"Hot sour soup was warm on top and scalding in the middle. Seemed like day-old soup just microwaved to order. It had a weird aftertaste. The Great Wall Shrimp is literally frozen shrimps microwaved, drenched in cocktail sauce and then plated on a bed of broccoli. The fried rice is tasteless. Would not recommend. General Tso’s Chicken is terribly dry. Comes with the breaded chicken and three jalapeños. I could get better food with flavor at Panda Express for a fraction of the cost"

"I have been eating Cantonese and Szechuan food my entire life but I have never experienced Huainyang cuisine. Jcer is the first of its kind in Canada. There were 10 of us and we sampled around 20 dishes. Everyone was out of this world from the cold entres marinated beef and duck both were great the taste sutble and nuanced. As the meal progressed I must admit all the dishes had a little something that stood out and no dish tasted the same. Some were sweet like the whole fish some garlicky like the shrimp some savory like the beer duck. All the plates were appealing to the eye and your taste buds We had a private room but the restaurant decor is beautiful. Would I go back ABSOLUTLEY!!! It is at 505 deMaisoneuve a short hop from Montreal's Place des Spectacle. So enjoy a great meal and go to a show"
