"I placed an order over the phone and provided my name and phone number. I was told it would be ready in 25 minutes. When I arrived to pick up my order at 6:30pm, I was informed that there would be a 10 minute delay due to a rush of orders. This seemed illogical as a time had already been quoted before the rush. I decided to wait in my car while my son waited inside the restaurant, believing it would only be an additional 10 minutes. However, when I checked in with my son 20 minutes later, he was told it would still be 10 more minutes. After calling myself at 7:17pm, I was informed that they were just starting on my order, which was odd considering they had previously stated they were working on it. It shouldn't take 45 minutes to prepare one plate. Despite the quality of the food, the lack of communication about the delay and the fact that they had already charged me before my food was ready were major disappointments. I was even asked for a tip before realizing the hassle I would endure. A simple courtesy call about the delay would have made a big difference. Unfortunately, I left with my food after 7:30pm, 1.5 hours after placing my order. This experience has made me reluctant to return to this restaurant."

"We love Azteca! It 's become our weekly ritual for so many reasons. The owner staff are amazing, the food, the margaritas and the happy hour are absolutely fantastic. More specifically, the Azteca margarita is strong, smoky and almost makes my wife cry in joy every time she has it. Street Taco Tuesdays and Fajita Fridays are delicious and are one of, if not the best deals in town. I 'm a Midwest kid originally from Wisconsin and friendliness and hospitality go a long way with me and I 've yet to find a place like this. Manny (personally) and his team are consistently making sure you 're well taken care of and are enjoying everything. We love it so much we 're trying to get our own booth lol. Go and enjoy, they have customers for life with us."

"I found it. One of the biggest bummers about moving from the west coast to NC was the dearth of authentic Mexican cuisine. So, it was certainly an unexpected and pleasant surprise finding this gem in northeast Raleigh. Though it 's attached to a gasstation (albeit among the most modern and ritzy ones I 've ever encountered), that 's where the hole-in-the-wall stereotypeends. Clean establishment, massive menu, prompt and friendly service, and food that resembles everything I remember about myhome state. I had the huge burrito, and my wife opted for the street tacos. We were not disappointed. I 'll be returning hereweekly at this rate."

"The food was flavorful, but as someone else stated, the shrimp was cooked dirty. Sangria wasn't very strong, yet very refreshing on a hot summer day. The waiter was awful. No personality, forgot my chips and salsa, had to ask even. They came after my meal. I asked for beans instead of rice, but got rice anyway. There are better choices nearby. You have to pay at the register, no table service which is super lame today."

"I encountered an issue with an online special that they didn't seem to know about. I ended up having to speak with a manager and show him their own website just to get the deal, which was a bit pointless at that stage. The food was decent but nothing to rave about, and I found it a bit overpriced. Our table felt like it was practically in the parking lot, and the loud music made it really hard to have a conversation. Am I satisfied? Not at all. I’d prefer to eat at Taco Bell instead of this place."

"We ordered the Queso Fundido, the Molcajete and the Campechana. The Queso fundido was very greasy, we tried spooning out the grease, we tried getting the napkins to soak up the grease we finally sent it back, it was gross. Now the Campechana was delicious, there was plenty of sea food and the brooth was good. The molcajete was our favorite. There were 4 of us and we all had plenty of steak, shrimp, chorizo, grilled Cactus, queso fresco and chicken that were perfectly cooked. It came with rice and beans. DELICIOUS, ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS ?"

"so disappointed, eaten tonight and the table was sticky unclean, so I moved. the waiting staff did not try to clean, although it was very obvious that the table was not cleaned. chips were stale salsas in order. fyi med bier 22 oz $6.29 so that is a 20 dollar six pack. street tacos were only roughly boiled meat fat pieces, I hope the dark spots in the fried beans were seasoned, they did not see them too late. I would not recommend this place, they returned to a 1 star restaurant with a lack of Luster service."

"we stopped here when we hoped it would be good. we were completely blown away with eating. it is truly authentic Mexican cuisine. the tortillas and the chips are made fresh in the restaurant. the tortillas are the best I've ever tried. the flan is also authentic, very good. "I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant! The staff was efficient and welcoming as soon as we walked in. Our server was friendly and attentive. The food was absolutely delicious, probably the best Mexican food I've ever had. I ordered the vegetarian enchiladas and my husband had the regular enchiladas. They had a great selection of vegetarian options, as well as a large variety of other dishes on the menu. The restaurant quickly filled up as we finished our meal, and it's easy to see why - the food was delicious and the service was impressive. "My family and I had a wonderful birthday dinner on 11-11-2023 at El Vaquero Mexican Restaurant located at 2195 Riverside Dr. in Upper Arlington. While I have dined at the El Vaquero at 3230 Olentangy River Rd. multiple times in the past, this was my first visit to the location at 2195 Riverside Dr. Interestingly, I had always thought this location was across the street from Upper Arlington, but upon careful examination of a map, I discovered that it is actually considered part of Upper Arlington despite being on the west side of Riverside Dr. We arrived for our meal in the late afternoon after visiting a few nearby places, and the restaurant was relatively empty at that time. However, it quickly filled up as more people arrived for happy hour specials and late-afternoon meals. I ordered the #40: Chicken Burrito and Chicken Enchilada, which was a delicious choice. Overall, if you're looking for tasty Mexican food in a lively atmosphere, I highly recommend El Vaquero at any of their locations."

"I have left Mi Tradicion with a full belly, a smile on my face and remnants for better than a year now and can say with extreme confidence that this is one of few Mexican restaurants in the Columbus area that delivers tasty and consistent fine food via the board. Its wide menu offers plenty of opportunity for omnivores, with offers of meat-based curls to seafood and vegetarian dishes. Mi Tradicion does not rely on adding too much salt to create the illusion of deep taste. It also 't bury traditional Mexican spices to make its food more attractive to bland medium western pallets. If a court is marked with A Diabla, you expect it to be just that. It will light up your face and free sins. I have sampled her menu far, rarely order the same twice and always the dishes of the mediators and can say that nothing I had here should be avoided. Service is usually quite good and the waiting staff is friendly. This is the kind of place where you want to become a regular one. I never felt less than enthusiastic. Very recommended."

"Went with family for my aunt’s birthday. No one was at the host station to seat us and when someone did come it was one of the waiters. After a few minutes we got the salsa and chips. However, as we are waiting there was constant singing. I don’t mindlive entertainment but it seemed like the band was playing to almost every table. Fifteen to 20 more minutes pass by and thewaiter comes by to get our drinks. When the drinks finally come, only two come because the iced tea is “freshly brewed”.Both drinks are watered down. As the waiter takes our order we feel a sense of being rushed? And forget about asking anyquestions pertaining to the dish you want, it won’t really be answered. We eventually decided to walk out after waiting foranother twenty minutes(the place was NOT packed at all and the other drinks STILL had not come out yet. As we are about to walkaway the waiter states our food is “almost done” “it’s already done” and we ask for it to go. He clearly packs it uphurriedly so we can pay and go. DO NOT PAY WITH CARD! We read that they like to dip in and take tip amounts off your card whenthey feel like it. Anyways, my mother’s food was cold (how when you claimed it was just made? fried calamari shouldn’t becold… the food didn’t smell right from the bag, the beans looked terrible and cold. We won’t be coming here again. Just goto Cast Iron down the way!!"
