"– haven’t decided the rating yet… but i’ll put a moderate 3 for now fyi, contrary to menuism’s spelling of the name, it is DEL not de alabardero stuffy, slow service, really good paella (lot more seafood than jaleo, rice is softer), limited tapas menu, outdoor dining and bar side tables look fun and enticing. paella fairly expensive, i believe 30 per person (for full seafood). my dad got the orange veal i believe and… it wasn’t all that great. actually, it sucked to be honest but i didn’t ask for his opinion will come back to this."

"Placed an online order, and noticed a delay in the delivery. Gave the restaurant a call and was told there was an issue with the online order and some confusion over what specifically was chosen from the menu (not blaming the restaurant for this as I am notsure what triggered the error through the online ordering process). Unfortunately as I attempted to clarify what the ordershould have been I was rudely told that the restaurant did not have time for this (likely an additional 30 seconds) and washung up on. It 's a shame because we typically enjoy their food and usually have a great experience dining in/placing orders.Almost all of the staff have been very friendly but this one gentleman has ruined the restaurant for us and we will not bereturning. Perhaps a lesson in customer service would suffice. Even a polite version of the same message would have sufficed andkept us as customers."

"Unfortunately a filthy restaurant for failing to maintain their trash. As you can see there is trash residue all over the ground. Atrocious smell reaping through the streets all day long. Rats trap placed by the area which doesn’t surprise any due to the conditions mentioned. Additionally, garbage water everywhere. What a lack of care and ethical standards from Fornos of Spain. For ownership to be in the city for such a long time yet 0 care for environment is baffling. A showcase of carelessness and ignorance to cleanliness. I can only imagine how dirty the kitchen is. An embarrassment to walk by."

"Churrasco’s has been a staple in our lives since early 1990’s. It’s one of our kids (now adults) favorite places to continue to dine. It hasn’t changed and continues to be outstanding in all categories. Gotta have the Churrasco Steak and all that comes with it-especially the caramelized plantains and end with the Tres Leches. When everything is done right, no need for changes. Keep doing what ya do!"

"I didn't know that this delightful restaurant was in what looked to be an average row of store fronts. As you enter you are in a glass enclosed foyer with doors on the left to the hostess station and right to the bar. Which helps prevent blasts of winter or summer air from the dining patrons. I enjoyed the layout, decor and the lighting was a prefect balance to the ambiance here. They also had an upper level for dining which is great for celebrations with groups. The food"

"I haven't been here in over 25 years and there's a reason why. Only went because I was invited to a birthday celebration. Not one person enjoyed their meal. This is on my list as the worst meal I ever had. Food is terrible and overpriced. I ordered the octopus appetizer for $26 and I couldn't eat it. It was slimy and tasteless. They brought me the wrong dinner entree, which I was lucky because another person at the table got my order and he said it was disgusting. It was swordfish and it was bad..the smell was awful. The veal dish was also inedible. I don't know why this place continues to be packed. People must not know good food. Service is terrible. Staff is rude. They look annoyed with any request. Much better choices in the area. Pass on Don Pepe II."

"I go here all the time as a dominican myself the only criticism is please put less saltly flavor in the sancocho, i know we are to combine it with white rice but still. Food is good, beans are soft and delicious, and mangu is just right in texture and if you call they have the order for you to pick up when they say. Dining in they are good, attentive to come by, but sometimes it can be hard to get your servers attention when its not busy because they are all at the front desk taking walk-ins."

"My girlfriend and I were chatting with some fellow travelers at the hotel pool when they recommended this restaurant to us. We were pleasantly surprised by our experience. Although the exterior isn’t particularly striking, the menu offers a wide variety of options. We kicked things off with two glasses of wine and an appetizer, and then enjoyed both meat and fish for our main courses, which were fantastic. The service was also excellent. I'm really grateful to Jack and Suzy (or Susie?) by the pool that day for suggesting this place."

"A little on the expensive side for the amount of food, except, a great experience. Service was very attentive and friendly. We each have the cooking menu Sample Tapas 1 meat, 1 vegan and 2 glasses of wine. The food was really delicious and flavors unique. It was nice to try so many of the tapas options. If we go back, we know what to do. The Paella part in and by itself would be enough for a meal and most of it came home. Make yourself a favor and get extra bread and garlic aioli also to take home! Will be back."

"When I went to the women's bathroom, I found all the toilets clogged and there was no toilet paper. I asked for some, but it took a long time for them to bring it to me. The staff seemed overwhelmed, despite the lack of customers, and others were voicing similar complaints without receiving any attention. When I ordered a drink, they brought me the wrong one. I then requested a bucket of five beers, but the server forgot to bring it. I eventually had to go get it myself because the waiter had disappeared. Overall, the restaurant was a mess. The food and service were incredibly disappointing. They definitely need better management and improvements in their food services."

"The moment you walk into Javier’s you feel a sense of being in a beautiful upscale Latin country restaurant. I loved the dim lights, doors, and ambience however there is a musty smell and they could burn fragrant candles instead of burning scent free. My sweetheart and I were there with a group for a birthday party so the service was slow and not attentive to needing refills on drinks. Our waiter appeared to be struggling with keeping up by himself. Our drink orders were mixed up as well as our dinner orders. The food was mediocre. I ordered the vegetarian fajitas which lacked flavor and undercooked veggies and my sweetheart ordered a chicken dish with red sauce which he enjoyed. The homemade chips were cold and the salsa was bland. Overall I would return for a spicy margarita , espresso martini , and ambiance but I wouldn’t be excited to dine in."

"We had a great, ?dinner tapas,? experience here. We were in the area for other reasons and we stopped there for dinner. It wasn?t busy around 5-6ish, so we got seated right away. My daughter ordered a peach sangria, which was delicious when I tastedit as I went with the classic, Estrellas. We ordered cream of asparagus to start off with, then 5 tapas for our main course, sowe could had a bit of every savourer tastes that we could expect from a Española restaurant in The US. Everything wasdelicious, I must say. We did not ordered the Paella it is usually very filling and because we wanted to ordered a variety oftapas dishes, which we did not regret at all. Service was excellent, ambiance very authentic, we were able to enjoy the,?Flamenco? show and price was reasonable. I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to explore another Country?sspecialties. I would go back to tastes the others dishes that we didn?t order."

"I arrived at the restaurant to celebrate a birthday and have dinner after hearing great things about the food. However, when I arrived for my reservation on time, I was informed that there were no tables available for dinner. I checked Open Table again and saw that there were still two available times for dinner reservations, so I am confused as to why I couldn't be accommodated. Not only did my evening turn out to be a disappointment, but I also wasted money on valet parking. My girlfriend mentioned wanting to return, but I will not be coming back."

"I held my rehearsal dinner at Nai, and it was a fantastic experience! They provided a private space for our group of 20, which was spacious and ideal for the event. "The ambiance of the restaurant is cozy, very elegant place. The red sangria is really good, but I was a little disappointed with the Paella. It was good but it lacked that distinct seafood flavor which makes a Paella a Paella. The waiters were very courteous and the service over all was very good. I'd definitely go back, perhaps order something different. Margaritas on the rocks were awesome."
