"I arrived to a pretty packed restaurant. I'm a suckered for foreign foods and the others were closed . I was staying at Hampton Inn nearby and walked to this place since it was only a 5 to 6 minute walk . When I got inside there was a line . I asked the hostess how long the wait was and was told an hour to hour in a half . I was only one so she sat me at the bar . The bartender asked if I'd been there before to which I replied no . The way the bar is set up before they bring you bread and appetizers is so beautiful. Very upscale but the price was fine with me . I ordered the shrimp in garlic olive oil after I asked the bartender about that and piquillo. It was SUPERBLY DELICIOUS . This was also my first time in ballantyne . I was going to order an entree but I got full off of the app. I was dipping my bread in the shrimp bowl to finish the rest of the garlic olive oil yuminess. 10/10 since I can only give 5 circles . I will Definitely be coming back with more money for this lovely place . Ryan at the bar was AMAZING , pleasant and his team mate on 01/08/2022 between 6&7:30 was awesome as well. Ryan honored what is an often laughed at request for me . I don't drink alcohol so I asked for water with sour mix and Splenda. He didn't question me , just poured it up and I'm very thankful and appreciative because the simple things matter to me. Thank your wonderful staff for me and I look forward to seeing yall soon WITH friends Family."

"My wife and I went there for dinner, Friday night, (last night both of us are (very familiar with Spanish food, tried for many years in different places (countries . We have our favorites. A short, limited menu would not help, does not describe AT ALL how the dishes are served, just a plain, literal translation of the name from Spanish to English. We wanted to order a bottle of wine, my wife asked the waiter, (no name, old male, about the kind of wines, grapes, but it was useless, he was quick to say he didn 't know, and usually people don 't ask questions about the wine he said, we just looked at each other and she went to order a bottle from the list. When I asked him a couple of questions about how the dishes were served, he showed the same attitude/ignorance to us, so we decided to order Paella, and a rack of lamb ribs. Paella was ok, average, the rack of ribs was small portion, barely warm some pieces cold, and tasteless, they put some cherry pepper sauce on top, but by far it was not cook together. No good at all. Of course it would be useless to tell the waiter after the previous experience. We finished our wine and left. Its sad to put the business in the hands of mediocre, ignorant, careless employees who don 't care for either cooking the food right, or serve the customers with total lack of professional, knowledgeable waiters that would care for the customers experience."
