"Gran Plaza never fails to impress. Every time we visit, we feel truly valued. The service is exceptional—they consistently go above and beyond to make each experience memorable. I always try something new from the menu, and I'm delighted by a completely different flavor profile each time. It’s at the point where I just want to drop in and see what happens. Tonight, we indulged in deep-fried ice cream for dessert, and it was fantastic. If you haven't been yet, make sure to go. And if you’re a regular, visit more often! This place is amazing in the best way possible. When you come here, you'll feel like family. They really take care of us. Five stars and a blue ribbon for Gran Plaza, one of the best in Northfield!"

"We had a late lunch on Saturday with my son, who is from Carleton. After hearing positive feedback from friends, we decided to try out Tokyo Grill. Our group of four all agreed on a solid five-star rating. Don't let the restaurant's location on the main street fool you; it's truly a fantastic dining spot. We started with perfectly salted edamame and a spicy dipping sauce. Most of us chose the Bento boxes, which provided a generous serving of delicious food. The sushi was excellent too, along with a variety of other options on the menu. The service was exceptional. Honestly, this has become my top pick for lunch!"

"I don't particularly like bars but I told Verizon Store that I was thirsty and the people there asked if I knew about Fielders. I declined but answered I would try the place. The people there were friendly but the service slow and I don't enjoy places which aren't well lit like this one. I won't go there again."

"the special was excellent meat (short ripening? and root vegetables. the smorgasbord could have used a few cracker or brot, a cracker and a small piece of brot a piece that is not close to the use of the spreads that needs something underneath. the panisse was mild for Scandinavia, I guess I would have liked more. these are very picky things, everything was wonderful. the service was excellent, and the reason we would choose it over a comparable restaurant."

"I have been to Tanzenwald a few times now. The first 2 times I would of given it a 2/5 (Poor service, spilled beer all over fiance, then never offered a napkin....fried pickles somehow were missing the pickle.... still confused on that one). This last visit flipped that script a little bit prompting me to make this review. First off, great beer and good selection. My Fiance said the Hefeweizen was more on the banana side which is more traditional (If I'm not mistaken). I had the Smithereen Hazy IPA.... very good, not too bitter, still packed a fruity punch! We also split a burger in which they cut in half and brought out on 2 separate plates without us asking.. AWESOME! Would still recommend you come try for yourself."
