"we stopped here when we hoped it would be good. we were completely blown away with eating. it is truly authentic Mexican cuisine. the tortillas and the chips are made fresh in the restaurant. the tortillas are the best I've ever tried. the flan is also authentic, very good. Whenever we get through, we will stop again. they also have several other locations throughout the opposite."

"I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant! The staff was efficient and welcoming as soon as we walked in. Our server was friendly and attentive. The food was absolutely delicious, probably the best Mexican food I've ever had. I ordered the vegetarian enchiladas and my husband had the regular enchiladas. They had a great selection of vegetarian options, as well as a large variety of other dishes on the menu. The restaurant quickly filled up as we finished our meal, and it's easy to see why - the food was delicious and the service was impressive. I highly recommend this restaurant, and I hope they keep up the great work!"

"The choriqueso (as it's listed on the menu) was excellent, and the enchiladas verde were delicious as well, with the quality of the chicken really standing out to me. However, the dish wasn't cooked long enough; the cheese didn’t melt properly, and the beans and rice were only lukewarm. If the dish had been prepared correctly, I would have rated it five stars. The staff was very friendly, and the restaurant was quite busy. I believe this was my third visit to this location, and I've returned several times since my initial review. This place is quickly becoming my go-to for Mexican food. The staff consistently provides friendly and attentive service. My main issue is that the sauced dishes could use a bit more sauce. My favorite dish is definitely the Enchiladas Verdes, and I should mention that their beans are outstanding."

"finally tried the new las arcos and liked what they did to the building. The food was good and came out quickly but it took us ten minutes and 3 people later to get napkins. My daughter's drink spilled on the floor and they never brought us anything to clean it up with and we asked 3 workers.. We had to use our napkins to clean on the table and when they brought them we got 2 and there's 3 at the table. We had to direct people away from the river creeping into the isle way . The 3rd person got a bloody Mary , it didn't get served until after our food came and had to ask for it again. When she brought it , asked if everything was good and it was very good. She takes a drink of her drink and passed it around the table for us to taste and it tasted like the tomato juice was bad. It bubbled on your tongue and very bitter. Our server never came back until she dropped the check and when we told her the drink was bad she turned around and left. We got our stuff and at the cashier we asked to speak to a manager, she said we had to pay for it because when we were asked if everything was good we said yes. Ok she brought the drink after we asked for it again and she didn't taste it as soon as she had it in front of her, she was eating by then and she never came back until she brought the bill. We were outside but so were 2 other tables of people. I won't be back."

"We love El Molcajete! Found this gem in Duncan and we've been multiple times since. I usually get a large margarita at Mexican restaurants because there's not much alcohol in the drink, but every time I've been here my drink is tasty and the alcohol is not watered down and the flavor of the margarita is perfect! Took my Dad out to eat today and as usual the food is bangin! The waitstaff greeted us as soon as we walked in, and I love the friendly atmosphere. Dad has to eat gluten free now thanks to an allergy and our waitress was top notch. She made sure his tacos were corn only. My burrito was delicious and the queso dip is amazing! Never have to ask for refills or napkins. This place is small but cozy inside and very clean. Our waitress was super kind when we placed an order to go to take a plate home for my Dad's girlfriend. She even recommended different quesadillas they could make to help us choose, and when they bagged up the to go order the added chips and dip again too! If you're looking for delicious Mexican food and a chill atmosphere, a full bar with great margaritas and friendly wait staff, this is the place! 100% recommend. Dietary restrictions: Wonderful options for gluten free guests. Parking: Small location but plenty of parking in front of the restaurant. Wheelchair accessibility: Handicapped spaces up front with plenty of space to navigate a cane or wheelchair."

"Great local Mexican restaurant. I'm in the area for a few weeks, and that was my first dinner here. The place is beautifully decorated with an authentic traditional touch. It was time for dinner, but the seat was super fast. Next I know that tortilla chips were delivered to the table. Manu is very wide and offers every taste and every need. I ordered Fajitas and it wasn't even 10 minutes later on the table. Margarita was fantastic. I skipped the desert when I was so full. Will definitely be back for traditional food."

"This was my first visit to the restaurant, and unfortunately, I can't say that it was a great experience. The food was just average. My burrito was quite messy and fell apart easily, and the meat was tough and could have been cooked longer. As for the service, my server had a somewhat snarky and unpleasant demeanor and didn’t come by to check on me or my table. When it was time to pay, I discovered that if you're not using cash, there's a $1 fee, which wasn’t mentioned anywhere. I would recommend bringing cash to avoid this charge. On a positive note, the cat robot that delivers chips and salsa was adorable and definitely the highlight of the visit."

"This was a last-minute find during my recent trip, and I had never heard of this restaurant before. I was thrilled to discover such a beautifully designed space. It was a fantastic place to stop and enjoy an authentic Mexican dining experience. The prices were reasonable, and the amazing food was definitely worth it. "The experience was overall decent, but the service was lacking due to being understaffed. I had to wait to be seated at 1:00 PM, and every table was dirty. When I requested water and salsa, it took a while, and I had to ask twice for them. I enjoyed the flavor of their salsa and appreciated the variety of hot sauces available at my table, including El Yucatán Green and Cholula. It took quite some time to receive the bill, and instead, I had to go to the counter to pay. The prices were reasonable, and the portion sizes were generous. I ordered the Enchiladas Tonganoxie, which included chicken enchiladas topped with onions and cilantro, alongside a salad dressed with guacamole and rice. All in all, it was a good experience, but they should definitely improve their staffing, as it seemed like there was only one cook, one waiter, and possibly one person assisting them with around 8 to 10 occupied tables."

"Outstanding! The Jalisco was perfection, equally parts smoky, spicy, and creamy with enough left over for a generous lunch tomorrow. Our waitress was kindness itself, even going so far as to dive under the table to rescue my husband's cane when it fell. The food was delivered in a blink and our waitress checked back at appropriate intervals to attend to our needs. The atmosphere on this night was quite rowdy with a party of excited young people expressing themselves in stadium-sized voices but the whimsically decorated tall partitions on the booths gave enough separation from the bedlam to make the atmosphere tolerable for this pair of grandparents. We'll be happy to return."

"I've been to this restaurant twice now, mainly to enjoy their amazing margaritas, which are truly top-notch! During my latest visit, I decided to try the Camarones a la Diabla since I was in the mood for something spicy, along with some Mexican nachos. When I called to ask if I could substitute beef for extra beans, the staff was super helpful and even suggested adding rice, which I thought was a nice touch! "I've visited this restaurant many times and usually have a great experience, but today was different. The service was good — friendly and prompt. However, the chips were neither warm nor crispy; they were stale and flavorless. To make matters worse, we found a hair in our salsa, which completely ruined our appetite for it. My sister and father's entrees were satisfactory, but I was let down by my tacos. The shells were stale and tasteless, and the filling was just okay. Unfortunately, I won’t be coming back here. "We eat there today at 12:02 table 13 Jorge was server! I ordered cheese dip , it was very runny and nachos supreme. I told him all beef. When it came I started eating it and it was chicken beans and beef! It was totally gross. He came and ask if I wanted a box since I didn’t eat much of it! I told him I didn’t care for it I wanted beef! He just nodded his head and smiled! No, apologies or refund! I will never eat there again! I told my Husband not to leave a tip but he did a small one! $41.97 total Bill for 2! Way too much! XXX this place off!"
