"The atmosphere was pleasant—offering a kind of faux elegance typical of restaurants in hotels that you wouldn’t normally pay a premium to stay at. The menu was straightforward, but everything sounded delicious. The staff was friendly and quick to make recommendations, which I always appreciate.
I ultimately ordered the Chilaquiles, which came with fried corn tortillas, ancho chile tomato sauce, refried beans, cilantro, pickled onion, avocado, queso fresco, and two eggs prepared any way you like. I chose scrambled eggs, and oh my goodness, this dish was fantastic! The corn chips were thick, crispy, and not oily at all, standing up well to all the toppings. Between the flavorful beans, perfectly scrambled eggs, and the generous half avocado, these breakfast nachos were incredibly satisfying.
I also ordered a side of crispy potatoes. They were good—not groundbreaking, but they met my expectations. I had the opportunity to try their giant French toast as well, which was decent. Given the size and fluffiness of the bread, it could have used some moisture. Although syrup was available, I would have appreciated more of the strawberry drizzle that came on the plate.
Overall, I left feeling pleased with my experience. If you find yourself here, I’m confident you’ll enjoy it too, especially since it's just a short drive from Sea World."
