"The food was okay, but the lunch menu was a good thing. For the price the portions really good and to expect the taste. I got sommeliers soup, roasted rice and General Tsos chicken for under $10. While I had eaten there, many people came to take orders so that they clearly found their market affordable shares especially for the area. Very recommended for a quick bite!"

"Decided to try this place out since we always get fliers for it in our mail box. They are slightly more expensive then our normal place that is just a little further north on Peoria. The food was good. I had the hunan chicken. Their wantons were also good. They were different then I'm used to because it tasted like they had onion in them. I may be back if I don't want to drive to my normal place."

"The food at Great Wall is absolutely amazing. While there are several Chinese restaurants in the area, I wouldn't waste my money at them or settle for anything less than the fantastic flavors that Great Wall provides. In fact, just today (February 15, 2022), I had a craving for their spare rib tips meal with fries and extra barbecue sauce, but unfortunately, they are closed on Tuesdays. I was really hungry and even passed by two other places that serve rib tips but decided to head home instead. I don’t mind waiting until Great Wall is open because their food is worth it."

"I visited primarily for the Chinese menu, but they also offer a variety of Asian dishes. It's one of the better Chinese restaurants I've been to. The flavors were excellent and consistently good. While it is slightly on the pricey side, it's not too unreasonable. The portion sizes were generous. I found the ma po tofu to be sweeter than I'm accustomed to, so I probably wouldn't order that again. However, we also tried the dumplings, beef lo mein, and orange chicken, all of which I would definitely recommend."

"I've ordered from this restaurant in the past without any issues, but this time I opted for delivery, which is the main focus of this review. I placed my order around 5:30 PM on a Sunday, and the website indicated that delivery would take about 50 minutes. We agreed and went ahead with the order. Around 5:50 PM, I received a notification stating that the delivery was on its way. By 6:30 PM, I called to check on the status of my order and was told it was indeed on its way. Finally, at 7:00 PM, my food arrived. While the meal was satisfactory, the delivery experience was far from acceptable."

"The man at the front desk checking out and taking orders should be removed from talking to customers. He has zero skill to be dealing with guests.. The entire process was confusing, as he was taking orders the entire time he was taking mine (I had walked in). He sat a bag down in front of me, i asked if it was mine, he nodded. …Got to my car and realized it wasn’t my order. Didn’t touch the food I took it back inside immediately and apologized. He then proceeds to YELL AT ME, WITH OTHER CUSTOMERS AROUND, Actually REAMING me, saying… “THAT NOT YOUR ORDER, NOT YOUR MOO GOO GAI PAN WHY YOU JUST COME UP HERE AND GRAB ANY BAG ?” I apologized again and HE KEEPS GOING ON AND ON. I’m thinking wow. Enough already. So I thru his take out bag down on the counter in front of him and walked out. He says “what the h— “.Sir I don’t need your food; this experience took away any appetite I may have had. I’ll not return. I’ll go downtown square. Mansfield. to the classy place where they treat customers with gratitude and kindness.Let’s assume it was my fault even so, i didn’t come in there guns hot his reaction was totally uncalled for. And now, after reading other reviews I’m not shocked.Can’t rate the food obviously didn’t get a chance to try it — hope he enjoyed his free egg roll and moo goo. That’s another thing… When i walked in he was eating rice behind the sushi counter. This is a “no” in my opinion. Eat in the back room, not in front of customers. Oh and i was to leave a tip for this “ happy house” experience”. Comical."

"Simply put:Proteins, yesVegetables, no.Explained:Loved the protein options, sesame chicken and pepper steak. The vegetables are on menu as garlic green beans and garlic broccoli. I recommend the owner to change names to chili garlic green beans and chili garlic broccoli. I am primarily a veggie eater when I have take out, but my mouth was burning with the beans and broccoli after the first couple of bites…I use chilis in my home cooked meals, have multiple types of hot sauce, etc…I am able to handle a little spice with enjoyment, but these literally created chili oil in the vegetables and made it unbearable to eat. These are not made the way a traditional restaurant would make them.This is my first (semi) negative google review. I only posted it because we live twenty minutes away and I would like other potential customers to not feel like they have wasted money on sides they would not consume or pay for."

"The service is, without a doubt, the best around. The owners genuinely put in the effort to make you feel at home. While we may not always remember each other's names, we always share smiles, warm handshakes from the husband, and friendly hugs from the wife, which really brighten my day. "We stopped ordering form here a few years ago as the food had become less than good. Tonight we gave the place another chance and ordered through door dash. Describing what we received tonight as food should be considered criminal. This was absolutely the worst meal I have ever been served from a restaurant. We ordered two chef special dishes; orange beef and orange chicken. Both were comprised of rancid grisly cuts of meat and soaked in a thick soup of bright red sauce with nothing else. The pot stickers were thick, clumpy, burnt and had a strong odor of ash. The fried rice was steamed rice with a little soy sauce on it and had certainly never seen a frying pan of any kind. I am completely disgusted by the food we were given and will never order from here again."

We ordered two dishes: the shrimp and broccoli, which was absolutely fabulous, featuring a unique and delicious brown sauce. The shrimp were cooked to perfection. We also tried the Shrimp Lo Mein, and the noodles were equally well-prepared. Once again, the sauce stood out with its unique yet tasty flavor. "Long Honest Review: I would like to give this restaurant 5 stars, but there were a couple of things that held me back. We ordered four dishes - two soups, two crab rangoons, two egg rolls, and a Pepsi. Everything was delicious, except for my husband's sesame chicken. It was tough and chewy, and tasted like it had been left out or was old. Additionally, there were no green onions in the soup, which was a bit disappointing as I thought egg drop soup always came with them. On the positive side, the lady who greeted us was extremely polite and provided excellent customer service. It's rare to come across such exceptional service, and she truly went above and beyond for us. If my husband's dish hadn't been overcooked and if there were green onions in the soup, they would have definitely earned 5 stars. I will still return to this restaurant, but I'll make sure to have some green onions on hand just in case. As for my husband, he may not be as keen on returning. Overall, everything else was great! Parking is easy as it's located in a plaza with plenty of parking spaces available."

"I recently tried the best Chinese food at this place. They give you generous portions and it's only for takeout. The staff is excellent and the wait time is minimal. This place deserves all the stars for being the best around. They also sell jewelry and have a restroom that belongs to Allstate. They share parking and entrance with another business. I love the food here, it's near the hospital. I will definitely be going back for more. I usually take it home to enjoy a good meal."
