"I visited primarily for the Chinese menu, but they also offer a variety of Asian dishes. It's one of the better Chinese restaurants I've been to. The flavors were excellent and consistently good. While it is slightly on the pricey side, it's not too unreasonable. The portion sizes were generous. I found the ma po tofu to be sweeter than I'm accustomed to, so I probably wouldn't order that again. However, we also tried the dumplings, beef lo mein, and orange chicken, all of which I would definitely recommend."

Outstanding food quality! I highly recommend the rainbow sushi for an appetizer. For the entree, I selected the shrimp with walnuts covered in white, creamy, sweet sauce with broccoli on the side. Very good indeed!

My family and I often go to their restaurant for dinner. Their food are as good as ever, the price has increased but it is worth. Cozy environment, delicious food, great service, friendly staff, I highly recommend it is a great place for family gatherings.

Peony Asian Bistro is fantastic! From the moment you walk in, the staff makes you feel welcomed. The team is very courteous, making it a lovely spot to relax with friends or on a date. The food is consistently delicious, and the prices are quite reasonable. I particularly enjoy their Angel Hair Singapore noodles! It’s an amazing place!

I was blown away by the food in this place. It was incredible. The Unagi don bowl was legitimately a chefs special. The eel was like warm butter, the rice was cooked perfectly. I highly recommend this place, even if you have to drive a little. The interior and food offered are similar to other sit down restaurants, its just a that the food quality sets this place apart. I typically don't write reviews, but my experience yesterday was outstanding! We visit this restaurant once or twice a month, and let me tell you, my kids can be quite the handful and picky eaters. However, our server was incredibly friendly and helpful, which made a huge difference as they engaged with my children. The food was excellent, as always, and we will definitely keep coming back. Probably my favorite Chinese place in Durham. The food is tasty, and the homemade egg rolls are delicious. Don't forget to ask for some of their house spicy mustard! The staff are very considerate and will help with recommendations if you want to try something different. This location does tons of takeout and I understand why... Don't hesitate, if your looking for great Chinese food in the area. Peony is where you need to head!!!
