"If you do happen to have a less-than-perfect experience, remember that it can happen anywhere from time to time. However, the Peppers team has always been accommodating and, in my experience, has done their best to address any issues. That level of service is truly commendable. The restaurant has a lively ambiance, and their dining rooms are great for hosting large parties, available for rent to suit various occasions. The bar area is vibrant, while the dining area provides a quieter atmosphere for guests who prefer a more relaxed setting. The owner, Sal, is a fantastic individual. Through my parents, I've had the pleasure of getting to know him, and it’s clear he cares deeply about both his business and the community. I have nothing but positive things to say about Peppers!"

"We were seated next to 3 obnoxiously loud ladies in mid 20’s. Despite a look to tone it done, they continued. We asked for a table change which was politely and efficiently done. Five minutes later a group of 4 adults sat down, ordered and then also asked to be moved. Perhaps the manager should have stepped in at this point. A daughter and grandmother were then seated there and were very upset at the noise and probably due to all tables occupied they got up and left. Management should have quietly stepped in to handle this situation."

"Always a great place for dinner. Had two wonderful appetizers and entrees and all were delicious and hot. Olive oil cake for dessert (it tastes way way better than the name suggests! . Our server was fun, on spot, and was very attentive. Can be a bit noisy but in a fun way, as the tables are a bit tight. Overall no hesitation to recommend this great long standing eatery. In fact I bumped into a colleague there to whom I recommended Tulio to two years ago, and he says he’s a regular whenever he’s in town. We are all from well outside the Seattle area (Canada so it’s nice to have a place you know will consistently deliver."

"We pass this place all time. Finally decided to come back after having it at a catered event last night. (Which was very good) I was pleasantly surprised that the Italian was good coming from a place that you would expect to be more of a steak house. I hadthe mozzarella square. Loved the pesto they put on it. I decided to get the mushroom raviolis expecting it to be salty and mushybut it was fabulous! Better then some of the local Italian joints. Perfectly el dente… not salty and love the peas they put infor added texture. The sauce was nice and creamy. I would order it again for sure. The chicken fingers were good although theyseem to have a different breading than the catered ones we had at the party last night. The only thing I would change is theFrench fries. It would be awesome if they could make a fry closer to Hellenic or the old Omally’s. They seemed a little likefast food fries at best but at least the main food was terrific. I would recommend this place to anyone. Lookong forward tocoming back tomorrow!"

"I made a reservation using OpenTable. A friendly host escorted us to our table upstairs. We were given the option of sparkling water and decided on 2 bottles. The cheese and fruit platter included a selection of Italian cheeses and a small amount of apple slices. The special of the night was a delicious short rib beef stew. We also enjoyed lemon drop martinis, which were very easy to drink. I highly recommend this restaurant in Little Italy. The dress code is business casual and they welcome families with kids."

"Been anticipating this place due to the great reputation of Sea Salt and Barbatella. We were blown away! From the front door around the bar, the new renovations pleasantly added a warm neighborhood feeling to Dorona's ambience. It's been a long time since I had table page Cesar Salatservice and the dry aged butcher cabinet added great visuals before we even ordered our steaks. We thought we were coming for the Steak selection but stayed for the desserts (Carrotcake and Gelato) and stellar craft cocktail menu. The Godfather Drink was so good, I asked to replicate the recipe at home. But it will never taste so good and I will have another excuse to come back! Very recommended!!"

"Service wasn’t good. We weren’t gien menus when seated, but other tables seated after us were given menus. We didn’t know who our waiter was as if we were never acknowledged. It took forever to just order drinks. The portions were small and not of good quality. It was as if it was prepared and tasted as if it came out of a cafeteria. Even the ice cream dessert was unappetizing. Our experience was not good whatsoever, and we will not be dining at this restaurant again."

"Tessa is a great date night spot but poor for a holiday like Valentine’s Day. Our reservation was changed from to due to a glitch in the system. We understood the change in time because accidents happen, but our table was squished in a back corner of the dining room. Our seats were under a set of vents that were blowing on us the whole night which was uncomfortable. They packed twice as many tables in the back room and we were sitting on top of the table next to us. The waiters did a good job serving considering how jam packed the room was, but it felt impersonal and rushed. It was definitely a disappointment on what should have been a special night"

"I was blown away by the amazing food at Sportello! After eight years, we finally returned and it did not disappoint. The Italian cuisine was some of the best I've ever had, especially the duck and lobster gnocchi. However, the tiramisu was disappointing as it was dry and lacked coffee flavor (see photo). The service was not up to par as well. Our server brought out the salad first, followed by all the other dishes at once, making it difficult to enjoy the meal. We tried to eat quickly, but with four plates to consume at the same time, most of the food was cold by the time we were halfway through. I suggest requesting the dishes to be coursed out for a better dining experience."

"Pallizata has relaunched and it's better than ever. They still have a separate vegan menu and lovely dining area, but they also now have a small market up front with Italian import foods like pastas, olive oils, jarred beans, and even hard to find vegan cold cut slices by Good Green (aka Mia) which are the best! I had the orechiette with broccoli rabe, my wife had rigatoni with tomato sauce w/ Beyond Meat. Both were excellent. Many great side dishes and appetizers in addition to the pastas and entrees. Bread and olive oil is served before your meal. We were given free refills of sparkling water during our meal. So nice to have authentic vegan Italian food in Kingston."

"Absolutely beautiful decor. Sitting by the wall to wall glass overlooking the water,watching the lights come on as night fell,seeing the tugboats sail by was reason enough to come here. The server was very attentive, being sure my order was correct and to my satisfaction. My mango mocktail could have benefited from slices of real mango,but they did not overdo the syrup,the fresh basil and lime,made for a good tasting drink. The Mediterranean salad could have used fresh dill and thyme,had they dressed it with the olive oil that came in the small cup of olives,it would have been heaven. However I did just pour thr oil over the salad,along with the olives. The golden raisins mixed in with the olives made them excellent. My lamb chop eS cooked to a perfect medium rare. This is an excellent restaurant, l look forward to returning."

"The appetizers were EXCELLENT !!!!!!!!!! ( Brie Brulee unbelievably delicious!!!!!!!!!) The beet salad and garden salad was refreshingly cold,crisp, very tasty and a superb bite.The entrees? Not so much: Crab and shrimp pasta had succulent shrimp but the homemade rigatoni were NOT cooked..like eating raw dough. The Taziki sauce was UNDER everything on the Gyro Platte, and difficult to access in order to spread on the pita/meat/greens combo, and the meat was soft and crumbly, almost like poorly mixed meatloaf. The presentation of the gyro plate per se was eye-catching but the arrangement made it difficult to assemble everything.The salmon was awesome, as were the potatoes and beets, but the greens under everything were too chewy and not tasty at all. The blueberry panna cotta was flavorless , but the mousse cake/pie had a heavenly crust. Coffee was strong, tasty, had NO bitterness.I would recommend Thea's for FABULOUS appetizers and an awesome beet salad but the entrees left a lot to be desired ."

"we arrived on time and we sat right away. the waitress took our drinks orders offered free beer or wine. we ordered our dinners and then gave wonderful hot from the many garlic knot. our salate came next. mixed green with gurken twill and tomato. the tomats were diceed. I liked that personally. with house made balsamico and olive oil dressing. the dinner came out at once. for 5 I was impressed. everything was served. It's not that good now. the plates seemed salty. sandwiches no problem, but the chicken parm and the aubergine and artichoke peim were. we ate it too much salt for my taste. other nice touch was that my sonny birthday I let her know in advance and they were able to buy a cake for me. it was very good. we will be back, this is our way to italy, the pizza is from this world."

"the first time here for a work-related dinner. service was fantastic, but eating was not. there were many possibilities, including lots of seafood. most of the escapes were about $20 and higher. seasonal and daily specialties. an extensive drink card is offered. I'm a picky dinner, and I ordered a speck cheeseburger. can't go wrong, right? my burger was dry and too small for the bungalow. friends were warm outside but raw and crispy on the inside. a worker ordered the same meal, and his came to the same wise. this place is rustic and imaginative at the same time, and I can see the attraction to come here to dinate. but for me did not taste right and there were too many different tellers and forks. too nice and too expensive for my taste. parking: very limited, less than 20 rooms. fills quickly in an invigorated night."

"The taste of the food was between ok and good, nothing special. I had higher expectations after seeing reviews. I ordered a pasta dish with sausage. I guess pasta, sauce and sausage are homemade, but I was disappointed when the dish arrived with 3 small bites of sausage. I ordered a cocktail that arrived weak and mostly with ice in the shape of a juice glass. When the waitress noticed that I drank it in a few sips, I asked for another one, but without ice. What I got was an 8 ounce glass of milk with a dash of Kahlua in it. No way to impress. I just wanted a good drink."

"The food and service were fantastic! We had a table in front of the fireplace, which my wife loved. We had a shrimp dip as an appetizer and it was good. The main course came out relatively quickly and was delicious. I went with a ribeye and my wife did the filet. The cook on these steaks was perfect and the shareable Brussels spouts were to die for! The Asian glaze on them made them scrumptious! The service was also very attentive and friendly. Nice little restaurant for a date or anniversary."

"We were very disappointed with our Thanksgiving experience at this restaurant in 2022. We would not recommend it for future visits. The food tasted like it had all been ordered from a Sysco catalog. The proteins were dry, including turkey breasts, pork brains, stuffed sole, and chicken franchise. There were no carving stations, and it was clear that the food had been prepackaged by Sysco. The sides were bland, with even the orzo salad lacking flavor. The bread dressing was gritty, and the broccoli rabe was tough. The Greek salad was overdressed and lacking in greens. The pumpkin soup was overly sweet, but the highlight of the meal. Dessert was underwhelming, with the absence of the traditional pumpkin cake replaced by a pumpkin cheesecake and an Oreo cookie cheesecake. For a price of $60 per person, it felt like the focus was on churning out meals rather than creating a special holiday experience. There were also no holiday decorations to enhance the ambiance. We do want to give a shoutout to the excellent room supervisor, Brian. Overall, our meal left us feeling unsatisfied."
