"Granted I've only been once in the last five years after going weekly for over a year. Went for a late lunch today and was highly highly disappointed. Server brought us menus, came back a little while later to bring the coffee I requested, came back a little while later to take our order then bring our food. Not one person came back to bring more coffee, to ask if we needed anything. Nothing and no one. It wasn;t that they were busy either, half the section we were in was empty. The food was good, not as good as it used to be. But the service was horrible. I've scratched this diner off my list. I will not be going back again."

"The service was absolutely terrible. We waited over an hour for our food, while my wife's meal arrived just 15 minutes after ordering. Her aunt and I were left waiting almost an hour longer. The waitstaff even tried to claim that they thought my wife wanted the breakfast empanadas (the dish she ordered) as an appetizer. I ordered the open-faced omelet with chorizo and was very disappointed. I simply requested to have the potatoes on the side, but ended up with the driest omelet and some ingredients missing—plus no potatoes at all. The waitstaff was incredibly rude and unprofessional. I will never return to this restaurant and highly do not recommend it for brunch."

"My husband and I have been looking for a place not too far from us that serves great food with a sense of using local ingredients- fresher, less processed. We live in Elwood and it took less than 1/2 hour to arrive. We had made an online reservation a couple of weeks prior (and had been receiving almost daily emails reminding us of our reservations)and the hostess couldn't find it. However, she found us a table and the rest of the service was excellent. The food was superb! and plentiful. We took leftovers home and had two more meals from it. Prices are very reasonable. We will be returning with friends! It is an added bonus to have the fudge shop, soap/candle shop, ice cream parlor and Carnegie Library within walking distance. It was a very nice date!"

"I had a seafood craving, so my boyfriend brought me to this restaurant. We ordered a combo that included shrimp, mussels, crawfish, potatoes, corn, and rice, which set us back nearly $60. I found the seasoning to be a bit on the salty side. I recommend pairing the sauce with white rice; it tastes great that way. Regarding the seafood, I must say it's not the best I've had, but it's decent. The mussels were the standout for me—they were juicy and sweet when served hot. However, I wasn't impressed with the shrimp; they didn't have the fresh, juicy sweetness I was hoping for. As for the atmosphere, it wasn't too crowded, which I appreciated."

"Would give it extra 0.5 stars if I could for an overall 3.5. It's been awhile since I've eaten here so maybe things have changed, but I recall I had a better experience previously. Nothing wrong with the food it was just a standard American breakfast at the Bay Area price point. Wish there were different choices of bread instead of bagel. Cappuccino was straight up no bueno though tasted watery and burnt."

"Easily my favorite restaurant in Pittsburgh.I've been going here for years, and I've been consistently impressed with how great the food is. I don't think I've ever had a meal here that I didn't enjoy. I enjoy some food more than others, of course, but everything is great. You really can't go wrong picking just about anything on the menu. It can get pretty busy at dinnertime, especially on the weekend, but the food is worth it.The atmosphere is great, and I can't recommend it enough. Please try it sometime. My personal favorite is the miso ramen, but try a few things and see what you enjoy the most."

"I stumbled upon this restaurant by chance after my CPR class, and I must say, it offered one of the best sandwiches I've ever tasted. Being Vietnamese, I've had my fair share of sandwiches in Vietnam and throughout California. The bread was perfectly toasted and wonderfully airy, while the pâté was spot on. Just like the authentic versions, they even included Vietnamese soy sauce! The price was moderate for a sandwich, but given the location, current inflation, and the exceptional quality, we found ourselves wishing we had ordered more. Keep in mind that it takes some time to prepare a fresh, high-quality sandwich, so be prepared for a bit of a wait. Good things come to those who wait!"

"The food is delicious but the service is an ABOMINATION. I watched about 15 people line up after me, while all the girls huddled in the back talking and giggling. Ignoring them. 2 people left..a big crowd formed. I ate my entire lunch plate (I had to ask for more meat because the girl gave a portion I've never seen in the Bronx. Like she's scared to fill the plate.)while these poor people were ignored. Nothing the staff was discussing is that important if your laughing and letting money walk out the door. 20min before you even say hi to these people? "The food was quite good. I stopped by during my lunch break and was a bit worried when I arrived to find the place locked up and dark, wondering if I had ordered while it was closed. Thankfully, I spotted a small window meant for picking up orders. The gentleman who brought out my order was friendly, but he didn't ask if I needed anything else when he handed me my sealed bag. I was hoping there would be sauces and utensils inside, but unfortunately, that wasn't the case. I would have appreciated some lemon for my calamari, but it wasn't a huge issue. Overall, it was a solid quick dining option; my food was hot and ready in about 15 minutes."
