"The food is delicious but the service is an ABOMINATION. I watched about 15 people line up after me, while all the girls huddled in the back talking and giggling. Ignoring them. 2 people left..a big crowd formed. I ate my entire lunch plate (I had to ask for more meat because the girl gave a portion I've never seen in the Bronx. Like she's scared to fill the plate.)while these poor people were ignored. Nothing the staff was discussing is that important if your laughing and letting money walk out the door. 20min before you even say hi to these people? I ate my entire meal while they talked in the back. I'll never step foot in this place again. And the girl at the counter has such a bad attitude because I dont speak Spanish. Its not a big issue. Reina del Chicharrón truly delivers! This was one of the last dishes my grandmother craved before she passed away. Be sure to take the time to wait for the fresh ones—they're worth it!

Definitely Racist if you don’t speak spanish, they will be very slow to take care of you or have rude comments. Ordered a chicken Pastel en Hoja and it looked pretty big in comparison to tradicional ones. I didn’t ask for price so I do not know how much I paid for this because I had other items. To my surprise it was 70% plantain and 30% chicken, ridiculous there was barely any chicken in there and it had no flavor. This is a disgrace to pastel en hoja lol…chicharrón was really good nonetheless so props on them for that.

I had a terrible experience at this restaurant. I ordered chicharrón and, after sitting in the car, discovered that it was mostly fat. When I returned the order, the lady seemed to dismiss me, claiming I had taken longer than ten minutes. In reality, I hadn’t. This restaurant makes plenty of money, so replacing my order shouldn’t have been an issue. I did not come there to buy just fat. I also can’t help but think that if I were Spanish or Dominican, she would have exchanged it for me without hesitation. I understand chicharrón contains some fat, but what I received was overwhelmingly just fat. It was quite disappointing!
