"Wow... my 1st word. An absolutely 5 star experience when it came to drinks, food and most of all service! The steak was perfect and probably beats that famous steak house in Vegas. Dessert was so good that even though I was full I ate it all. And now that I am writing this I want more. I usually don't give 5 stars lightly as you all know, and if I could complain about one thing would of been the crowded entry way... but once you got in and to your area it was private and soothing with wonderful soft music in the background. I recommend anyone visiting Seattle.. if you want the best steak in town you must go here! Make a reservation ahead of time!"

"We loved our fresh raw oysters. Also loved the Small Plates of Orange Chicken and Szechuan Noodles—they were an excellent combination to share. The Fried Fish Curry was delicious. The Asian inflections here are always interesting and tasty. Recommend exploring the extensive Classic Cocktails Menu—lots of tempting choices for a change of pace. We love the ambiance and decor here. It does get noisy, but the liveliness is understandable. The staff are good people, but service is often rather slow, so more staff could be a plus."

"After a long day of mountain biking a year ago, my husband and I chose this restaurant because it was in the same building as our condo and it was convenient. We were able to meet the very personable owner and we tried the panang curry and the pineapple fried rice, a specialty of the chef. It was that delicious fried rice served in a pineapple half that brought us a back a second time! We brought our two youngest daughters with us. In addition to the pineapple fried rice, we also chose the massaman curry and chicken satay. The cucumber and peanut sauces to dip in were fantastic. We ended the meal with chocolate lava cake and coconut ice cream. Such a pretty presentation and delish."

"Food was excellent, as always. Noise level was a bit much given we were seated next to the kitchen, which is not the best place in the restaurant. Maybe a bit of a rearrangement of the tables would be better a panel to block the view and the noise could help with the experience. Waiters also could hardly hear and understand some or our guests. This was dinner time, after 6pm. Our guests had to use the flashlight with the phone to be able to read the menu this is something you could look into it? Lights were switched off creating a bar atmosphere, but surely its good for the bar where you just order your drink, but not at the table where you want to decide what to eat?"

"The only reason they’re not getting 5 stars is because we made a reservation for 9 pm and we didn’t get seated until 9:20 even though the entire party was there at 9 and we even had to ask twice if our table was ready before they finally started clearing our table that had been empty for a while. The food though was excellent and it all came out really quick, even the drinks! The drinks had room for improvement though. The waitress Annie was spectacular!"

"I picked up four meals for takeout today for a very important birthday celebration. The meals were expertly made and had lots of flavor and quality. I was very thankful that the hosts did a good job of calling me back about changing my order. Absolutely the best part of my experience there today was being able to see Casey. When you spend good money at a business especially a restaurant it is great to see someone who asks how you are doing and is truly genuine and kind. Just seeing her today and knowing that she is still an important member of the team makes me want to frequent that restaurant. "My grandson and I go to Victoria every year this was our 11th year anniversary and each year we go to Earls because it is very special for both of us! This shares, they did not disappoint ! We had a beautiful dinner. The waiter was amazing and very attentive to every need even though she was extremely busy she kept up with every need to make sure our night was perfect. "Duke’s is an amazing fish restaurant with a casual, relaxed atmosphere. Great view over South Sea Union and funny decorations inside to fit the view. The salmon and crab cakes are excellent and I would definitely come back. Food The salmon paste was one of my favorite dishes I tried. The salmon was perfectly cooked, tender and juicy and I loved eating it with white sauce. The vegetables were a nice touch and went well with the pasta. I would recommend getting the crab cake if you have a chance. The menu says that it is usually crab and not much cake and that was definitely true. Tons of crabs on a slice of bread. Make sure you wear some sauce. The interior is decorated with a feeling at the sea and gives it a casual atmosphere. The view of the lake is beautiful and undeveloped. In summer, Dukes is a perfect place to enjoy the lake. Price The prices for food are on the higher side (as is seafood). The food is good and I think the views and moods are to be paid. Service The service was really good and the waiting staff was very nice and good to answer questions. The food came out quickly. Other"

"The portion size of the dish I ordered was not reasonable. The rest of the meal was okay, but it did not reach the high standards of the positive reviews on travel websites. We dined at the bar instead of in the restaurant with Essence-in-the-Dark, which may have affected our experience. The service was pleasant."

"We hadn't been here in a few years and now we don't know why! We had a wonderful dinner with everything our hearts desired and great, attentive service. We started with the calamari and sausage bread and both were delicious. I am a fan of bread and the bread rolls they gave us for the table are my new favorites. They didn't stand a chance! We also ordered the crab cakes, chicken prawns limone, lasagna and the fettuccine portofino. We loved everything except the fettuccine. It wasn't bad at all just wasn't what my daughter expected. We can't wait to visit again!"

"Went in with my family for my daughter birthday. Server did not tell us her name, asked for our drinks and I put in an order for an appetizer and my daughters meal. Another family arrived, and must have been related to our server, because after they arrived she paid no attention to us (my daughter spilled her soup and we waited 10 mins for her to come check on us. She never asked if we wanted refills, napkins) The other family got their food before us even though we ordered and arrived before they did. When we finally did get our food, I didnt have chopsticks so I sat there waiting until she eventually came over and i asked for chopsticks. This restaurant is spectacular, but the service we received was absolutely terrible. To top it off, when we were in the parking lot leaving, she came out and said goodbye to the family she catered to. I didnt even mention that it was my daughter's birthday because we were there for so long and she was so inattentive."

"Trying to have a nice dinner for my coach with everyone from my gym, but we were waiting on servers, they were communicating with the people who arrived late so they didn't get drinks or anything. My food was raw and then they brought me out a smaller steak then what I asked for. The steak was purple, chewy and horrible. Horrible night all around other then it being my coaches birthday"

"My mom and girlfriend wanted something tasty but healthy, so Seasons 52 was the perfect choice. The creative flavors for the pork, lamb and fish dishes were all delicious, as were our wine pairings and of course those desserts! Having Teresa as our server was an added bonus the courses were timed perfectly, she was very kind when my mom needed a few extra minutes to make up her mind, and you couldn 't have asked for a better sense of humor or more down to earth person to make the meal even more enjoyable. We 'll definitely be asking for her the next time we 're there, which will be soon!"

"I've been dining at Earl's for as long as I can remember, but lately I've been disappointed. The restaurant was only half full at most, but service was slow and it was very noisy. It wasn't busy when we arrived so our orders were taken promptly, but once a few more tables were seated, it was difficult to get the attention of our server. After we paid, we asked for a printed receipt which we had to ask for twice after a very long wait. Although the restaurant is carpeted, we had great trouble hearing each other at our table for two. There was a table of 8 next to us which was very loud but with more soft surfaces, the issue could have been mitigated. Our Hunan Kung Pao bowls were overdressed way too much sauce. However, the pumpkin pie and key lime pie were delicious, and the portions very generous."

"I hate to write negative reviews, but I think this type of feedback is particularly important, so in a restaurant with this price point. the main problem lies in the service provided to us, while we arrive at this location. I waited a solid 20 minutes with my partner (it was a special date for us) without a single word from each of the employees. in the did I have my neck for a good give minutes trying to take the attention of all the workers. many flat out avoided eye contact with me it felt as finally my partner stood up when we got a little flustered. only after we stood, someone came to us and asked if there are any drinks we want. we have refuted and said that we are ready to eat and just let us order (the drinks would have been great in the first 20 minutes.) they took quickly or drank the order and began to run what we need to call them back because we explained that we wanted to order food already and that they gave us no chance to forward our order. a few minutes later they came back with our glasses and poured my partner her wein. Unfortunately, the glasses had on them and this is again a little regret, for this price point, it is only expected that they do not have to drink a beautiful wine from a sociable glass, for which the personal apologises and made us available a free glass. for me I had to ask the waiter on water, which was a little regrettable. I feel to supply water in a beautiful operation is a mere minimum or at least ask if they want a glass (that I really did, it was a really hot day and I was chewed) after this debacle it was a pretty similar experience that waited for someone to make the scary that reveals us to this point rather. I say that eating was excellent. the place was quite boring (outside is beautiful, but unfortunately they are sitting in a rather dated room) and then there is the service. overall will not return hope, it was just a bad day."

"We returned to this restaurant for the second time and once again had a fantastic experience! The lunch menu is a great deal at $15, which includes soup, appetizer, rice, and main dish. The food was delicious, although be sure to ask about spice levels before ordering to avoid any surprises. Both the Mongolian chicken and Cung Po Chicken were tasty, with the former having more flavor. The egg flower soup was rich and flavorful, while the Hot and Sour soup was mostly hot with little sourness. The vegetarian Rangoon was a standout dish for me, as I couldn't resist ordering a full order and ended up eating 5 out of 6! The service was excellent, even during a busy lunch rush, and Jenny's sweet smile was a highlight of our visit. The restaurant itself is clean, bright, and spacious, with wonderful bathrooms. Parking was easy this time around, as we found a spot right in front of the restaurant. We will definitely be returning in the future!"

"Earls is a great place to meet friends for a quick bite or drink. The St.Vital location is generally not as busy and a bit more quiet than other locations. The booth seating is comfortable in the lounge and the dining room seating and decor is spacious and inviting. The food on Friday was delicious and the service was excellent. I found there to be fruit flies hovering around the wine and food which is not a pleasant experience while dining and an unwelcome interruption to the dining experience. Maybe something to look into in and around the bar area?"
