"**Food**: I started with the Blueberry Lemon Drop cocktail, which was phenomenal. It struck the perfect balance between sweetness and tartness, with real blueberries and a delightful foam on top, complemented by a sugared rim. My waitress wasn't wrong when she described it as a strong drink; it gave me a lovely buzz. The bread served with two types of butter was a nice touch, and the brown butter had an incredible flavor. Our side of scalloped potatoes was delicious—more than enough for three people. The combination of jalapeño and cheese was fantastic, and the potatoes were thinly sliced and perfectly cooked.
For our appetizer, we chose the Sweet Chili Calamari, which was remarkable. The calamari was cooked to perfection—not too chewy and not tough at all. The crispy batter, along with the addition of banana and red bell peppers, provided a nice acidity.
Both my partner and I ordered the 8 oz Filet Mignon with a lobster tail, cooked medium rare. Our waitress explained how it would be prepared, and I must say, it was the best steak I've ever had. It was incredibly tender and easy to cut. The lobster tail was perfectly cooked and tender as well, and the accompanying sauce was amazing—I could have used more of it! The caviar on the plate was a lovely finishing touch.
For dessert, we opted for the Chocolate Lava Cake, served with two generous scoops of vanilla ice cream. I have a soft spot for lava cake, and this one was exceptional. The cake was substantial and made for a delightful ending to our meal.
I highly recommend Fleming's to anyone seeking a premium steak or a top-quality meal. It's also a fantastic choice for an anniversary or special celebration."
